Known as the “Blue Guesthouse” for its colours, our B&B is located in a young though definitely safe area of the city, very close to the University Politecnico of Milan (città studi).

100 metres away from Lambrate underground station( M2 - green line), the B&B enjoys a strategic position for visiting the city centre, easily accessible in a few minutes.

Besides being an underground station, Lambrate is also an important railway station, not mentioning the wide range of surface transport stopping in the whereabouts. You can easily reach it both from the Central Railway Station by underground ( 4 stops), and from the airports of Linate, Orio al Serio and Malpensa, by shuttle or by bus stopping in front of the station.

With its Lambro Park and Idroscalo, this is a green area, rich in bars, pubs and beer-houses: the famous ancient Birrificio di Lambrate (Lambrate Brewery) is very close, so you can taste our local handicraft beer!
The B&B is on the first floor of a block of flats with lift and doorman. The atmosphere is friendly and easy-going.

The triple rooms (occasionally double or single) are provided with TV, DVD player, air conditioner, heating, towels, hairdryer, alarm clock. A mini-bar and a kitchen are also available.

A deposit for the room’s key is required, so you will be free to go out and return at any hour.

You may cancel your booking up to 3 days before the check-in date. In the case of failure to show or late cancellation, you will be charged a penalty of 100% of the total cost of the booking

We spent a couple of days in Milano, and we enjoyed the place. Mata guesthouse is a beautiful place to stay in. The room is clean and comfortable. The building is about five minutes from a metro station that link you to the Milano points, and Mata is also a friendly host.

Very good experience. Host speaks English very well and was excellent. The entire place was very clean and had all the amenities a traveler would be hoping for. Would book again and recommend to anyone looking for a great deal/location in Milan.

Mata, the host, he made everything becomes very simple. He is a very easy going person and always trying to help plus he speaks really good English so no need to worry about language confusion, his B&B is very clean and bright in a convenience location of the city. I can find food to eat 24 hrs and very short walk to train, bus and metro station. Highly recommend to travelers who don’t speak Italian.

Gabriele, gestore gentilissimo e disponibile. Non ho potuto usufruire del servizio a casa di un imprevisto familiare che mi ha costretta a ripartire subito da Milano. Alla mia richiesta di cancellazione il gestore si è mostrato immediatamente accondiscendente. L'appartamento era cmq in una zona perfetta per città studi e vicino alla comodissima metropolitana. Lo ringrazio tanto della disponibilità e mi scuso ancora per il disservizio che involontariamente ho provocato.

Mata è stato veramente molto disponibile e tempestivo nel rispondere ai miei messaggi, la casa è pulita, ordinata ed in una zona molto comoda per la stazione della metro e dei treni di Lambrate. Posto stupendo; sia per la posizione dove si trova sia la casa, camera grande e pulita. Il posto di Mata era proprio quello di cui io e un amica avevamo bisogno dopo aver trascorso una settimana in viaggio per l'Italia e lunghe ore in movimento. Onestamente, è stata una pazzia per una notte, ma ne è valsa la pena. Il posto di Mata si trova proprio all'uscita della metro, e lui è stato flessibile quando il nostro autobus ha ritardato. Mata ci ha fornito asciugamani puliti, wifi, informazioni sui trasporti pubblici e se avessimo avuto bisogno di qualcosa, potevamo chiedere. Il nostro soggiorno da Mata è stata un'esperienza molto positiva. Cose come un asciugacapelli, lavatrice, specchio, coperte, riscaldamento e aria condizionata, colazione abbondante a qualsiasi ora, dischetti rimuovi trucco sono un lusso quando sei in viaggio e sono rimasta felicemente sorpresa di vedere che ci ha fornito tutte queste cose. Piccoli tocchi come questi creano un'accoglienza positiva e familiare, sono contenta che ho scelto di stare da Mata. Consiglio assolutamente!
