Housed in a villa built in the eighteenth century, on the first floor, the Bed and Breakfast DE AMICIS born completely renovated in September 2014. Equipped with separate entrance from the house of the owners, offers discretion and autonomy.

Has 3 double rooms large and bright. Equipped with every comfort (air conditioning, LCD TV, line wifi free, Nespresso Machine) each have a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and courtesy kit.

Guest also have a living room reading.

A typical Italian Breakfast, included in the price, is served in the wonderful bakery next to the Bed and Breakfast (1 Hot drink, 1 croissant or 1 salty, 1 fruit juice and a glass of water).

City center (Duomo) reached on foot in 15 minutes. Bicycle and car parking. Bus stop next B. & B.

Everything was great, very clean with a perfectly polite and welcoming host. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. On the third day, we couldn't have breakfast as we had a train and were not authorised to take it away (which doesn't change much as it was only a sandwich and a croissant). Otherwise, would totally recommend the place.

The owners are very friendly and it is always easy to contact them. The room is clean and big enough for a short-term stay in Florence. Coffee and some biscuits, as well as water (in a mini fridge), are provided which is very convenient.

I am very happy that I found this B&B on this website. The rooms are beautiful! It was very comfortable to have the coffee machine and cookies in the room, as well as getting free water in the refrigerator every day! Silvia and Luca are very friendly. I also really enjoyed the breakfast at 'La Magnolia', it is delicious! It was good to have the air conditioning, and the bed is comfortable; I slept very well.

My stay at B&B De Amicis was very pleasant and comfortable. The host is welcoming and rather knowledgeable about the neighborhood and Florence itself. The room was clean, had nice furnishings and I particularly appreciated the quality of the linen. For breakfast I was provided with a voucher which I could use at a choice of two patisseries. The hosts also run a pizzeria with an excellent menu. I would recommend B&B De Amicis.

Very kind owner, perfect service, super clean and a very nice option to have breakfast in a nearby pastry shop with fresh orange juice, coffee, sandwiches, pistachio croissant. We took the bus into the city, easy to reach (no bus changes needed) - thanks a lot for the nice stay!

Sylvia and Lucas were very pleasant hosts. The room is spacious, very clean. Breakfast is taken in a café right next door, a very nice place where friends gather. The bus is nearby, which allowed us to move to Florence without difficulty. Thank you for your hospitality. Wonderful stay in Florence.

B&B De Amicis, a very warm welcome from Silvia the hostess! The room is super cute and full of surprises that enhance the trip. We appreciated that it's not right in the center of Florence and moreover the bus stop is just 150 m walk away, which is really great. For breakfast, you can choose between a great bakery nearby or a small bar that allowed us to stay for a sandwich or a typical croissant or have a cappuccino! We walked a lot during the day and so it was nice to meet at the pizzeria of the owner's husband who offers great pizzas at very reasonable and delicious prices, all far from the B&B! In short, a great address with great people. I would go back.

Nous avons été accueilli avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme par les propriétaires, même si l'anglais était juste suffisant. La chambre est récente, bien décorée et le logement dispose d'un petit salon commun. La ville est à une demi-heure à pied, mais c'est facile à faire. La pizzeria du propriétaire est très accueillante, nous y avons très bien mangé pour un prix très correct. Le petit déjeuner est à prendre sur le pouce dans une des deux boulangeries voisines, ce n'était pas tout à fait clair à quoi nous avions droit.

I had a great time at the B&B De Amicis, the owners are very welcoming, the room was modern, well-equipped, located in a quiet area and the service was excellent. Although the accommodation is not centrally located, it is well connected by bus and train and therefore away from the tourist hustle and bustle. In a small café around the corner you can have a typical Italian breakfast (included in the price), in the company of many Italians from the neighborhood. I enjoyed spending my evenings at the owners' restaurant, which is also only a few meters away from the accommodation. The food was delicious, everyone was very friendly and I didn't miss anything. I will gladly come back!

The accommodation is a dream! I stayed here with my best friend for one night. The owners welcomed us very warmly. Even though their English was a bit rusty, we managed to communicate well. The owner invited us to dinner right away at his restaurant around the corner. We had booked with breakfast, so we were advised to visit the bakery next door, where we could eat and drink as much as we wanted. The freshly baked Italian pastries were delicious. The location of the accommodation was also great, it took us 15 minutes by bus to get to the city center. Would love to come back!

My boyfriend and I were guests at the property during the New Year's week. We immediately felt welcomed by the owners, who provided us with excellent information on both local places and places to visit. For the evening of the 31st, we dined at the restaurant run by them and it was a great experience. As for the included breakfast service, we can recommend the “dolcezze del 2000” just a few steps from the B&B. In conclusion, a truly top-notch holiday, highly recommended.

Great structure. Owner available, very kind. Excellent location both for going to concerts at Nelson Mandela and for visiting the city center. The room is equipped with everything and very clean. In addition, the owner has a restaurant just a few steps from the structure where we ate very well!

Room well cared for in detail, comfortable and very clean, Silvia a friendly, helpful and very welcoming person, the structure also offers a voucher for breakfast at the pastry shop next door or at the bar always close to the B&B, we arrived around 1 PM and Silvia made herself available to book a table at her husband's restaurant pizzeria Fiorella, we ate very well, the staff friendly, kind, fast in service and very attentive to customer needs, what can I say, it was a short but beautiful stay in every way, we will definitely be back... even small gestures are always welcome treats, if you are in the area I absolutely recommend it!

Very well-kept B&B, down to the smallest details. Extremely clean room with water and coffee machine available. Mrs. Silvia welcomed us in a very friendly and welcoming manner. Breakfast available at 2 very well-stocked pastry shops very close to the B&B. Really satisfied, we highly recommend it. A B&B that has the warmth of a B&B and the comfort of a 4-star hotel. Extremely comfortable room with a double bed with top, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, courtesy set with disposable slippers included, coffee machine in the room available with pods, sugar, cups, biscuits, and candies... the best for me who needs a coffee in the first place. Delicious breakfast in the pastry shop. Located 5 km from Santa Maria Novella station and 300 meters from Nelson Mandela's small palace. Ideal for those like us who came to Florence for a concert and do not want to get stuck in taxis or public transport late at night, everything accessible on foot in a short time. Silvia very helpful in giving us all the information we needed and very kindly, as our check-out was on March 8th, she made us find a composition of mimosa with chocolates and a dedication... these much appreciated gestures make a difference and I am happy to make my appreciation public for their B&B curated in every detail. We found an exquisite welcome, comfortable room and excellent cleanliness. We were offered some small attentions that we really appreciated. Ms. Silvia and her husband were truly special in meeting every need of ours and even more! We also dined at their restaurant/pizzeria Fiorella which is nearby and we enjoyed a delicious pizza. We had no parking difficulties and we used the very convenient public transport to the city center. We will return to Florence!

Very welcoming, charming and remarkably clean structure; equipped with a mini fridge and espresso machine. The structure is very close to the Nelson Mandela forum (a few minutes walk), well connected to the center of Florence as the bus stop is just a few meters from the B&B De Amicis. Breakfast is also good. We were welcomed by Mrs. Silvia, very kind and above all very helpful and attentive to everything. We stayed for one night on the occasion of the Ultimo concert. Very kind and helpful owner, impeccable room and equipped with every courtesy kit even more than necessary. Position served by transport, in a few minutes you can reach the center. Behind the structure there is the park in the stadium area with the possibility of spending time in the green. Breakfast in agreement with the bar where you can eat excellent croissants. Highly recommended.

Great location of the structure for events at the forum, Silvia is an excellent hostess, kind and courteous. The room is very comfortable and cozy! We had a great time... not to mention a pizza at Mr. Luca's restaurant well past 23.

Struttura situata in un luogo strategico per i concerti (peccato il problema parcheggio che è comunque un problema di tutta la città, forse si potrebbe pensare ad un’idea di parcheggi riservati per i clienti/turisti che ne facciano richiesta), ben pulita, gentilissima la signora, camera ben pulita ed accogliente, graditissima la macchina del caffè con gli annessi, bagno pulito e funzionale, riscaldamento/condizionamento ottimo (da specificare cmq che l’accesso alle camere è solamente tramite scale non adatto a persone con difficoltà di deambulazione). Unico neo la colazione al bar: paste surgelate e cartello in cui si chiede ai clienti di riportare le tazze al banco, c'è comunque anche una pasticceria che non ho trovato. Per il resto, come già detto, la consiglio sicuramente.

La struttura si trova molto vicina al Mandela Forum, ideale se, come nel mio caso, si deve assistere ad un concerto. Il centro storico si trova a circa 2,5 km ben servito dai mezzi pubblici. La gentilezza di Silvia, la titolare, hanno fatto il resto. Ci rivedremo sicuramente! Deborah.

Super accoglienza di Silvia, gentilissima e pronta a risolvere qualsiasi problema. La stanza è curata nei dettagli! Colazione ottima in una pasticceria a fianco del B&B. Posizione ottima, zona tranquilla e verde: Il centro della città e raggiungibile facilmente a piedi per cogliere totalmente l'atmosfera di Firenze ma comoda anche la fermata autobus di fronte. Inoltre la Stazione dei treni Campo di Marte si trova a 10 min a piedi! Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Molto carino. I gestori sono deliziosi, molto a modo e disponibili. Non è in centro ma va benissimo perché non c'è il caos che ci sarebbe altrove. Abbiamo scelto di avvicinarci verso il centro con la macchina e poi incamminarci in seguito. Silenziosissimo grazie alla finestre che isolano benissimo. Quindi anche la stanza su strada non ha il problema delle macchine che passano. C'è qualche problema per il parcheggio perché non si capisce bene dove si può parcheggiare a Firenze ma è un problema di tutta la città, visto che i parcheggi sono quasi tutti per i residenti e ci sono poche alternative e garage (almeno da quel poco che ho visto io). Ci tornerei senz'altro se decidessi di tornare a Firenze.

Tutto come nella descrizione, vicino al Nelson Mandela forum, camere confortevoli, spaziose, arredate con gusto, piacevolmente silenziose, la padrona di casa molto gentile ci ha accolto con simpatia e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno. Anche per la cena ci siamo trovati molto bene alla pizzeria di proprietà del marito Luca. Pizza buonissima! Grazie! Al prossimo concerto ritorneremo.

Accoglienza impeccabile e simpaticissima. Grazie a Silvia! Camera elegante e provvista di ogni confort (caffé, the, biscottini, acqua...). Location un pò decentrata, ma facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici dalla stazione o dal centro. Tornerò con molto piacere.

Ho soggiornato insieme a mia figlia in occasione di un concerto al Mandela; le camere del B&B sono pulitissime ed arredate con estremo gusto, proprio come si vede dalle foto sul sito. Silvia, la proprietaria, è molto amichevole, disponibile gentile; vicinissimo al Mandela e allo stadio, comoda la fermata dell'autobus che senza cambi ti porta in centro città. Colazione nella pasticceria sotto casa. Insomma, consigliassimo.

Bellissimo B&B, gestori molto accoglienti e molto disponibili. Appena fuori il centro che si può raggiungere o con il pullman o con il taxi (dal B&B alla stazione Santa Maria Novella 10/15€).
