Description
Al Mercato B&B is located in the historic center of Siena, just a few steps from Piazza del Campo and the Duomo, in an ancient palace of the XIIth century.

The couple Fabio and Carla have personally followed the recent restoration of the residence, executed with the total respect of the original structural features of the ancient palace.

In our rooms, equipped with private bathroom with shower, you will also find the air conditioning and the free Wi-Fi. The windows open onto the picturesque Piazza del Mercato with a beautiful view of the Palazzo Pubblico and the Torre del Mangia.

Buffet breakfast is served every morning in the dedicated room and it is both italian and continental style.

At our restaurant "La Finestra" in the Piazza del Mercato, you will find a typical Sienese menu at a special price. Possibility of half or full board.

Parking Il Campo in street via Fontanella, only 400 meters away. Cost 25 € for 24 hours.

Cancellation conditions (except for non-refundable rates)

You may cancel your booking up to 3 days before the check-in date. In the case of failure to show or late cancellation, you will be charged for one night’s stay

Balance to be paid at check-in
For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

We enjoyed our stay in Siena at the Al Mercato B&B. The room was very clean and spacious. Our first night, the piazza behind the room and right above a restaurant was very loud even at 2 a.m. Two suggestions: make clear arrangements before arriving of where to go to receive a key if the property manager is not on site. We could not understand the speaker at the door, nor could the passerby who spoke Italian. This would have made it much easier to check-in. Also, just a suggestion to add some fruit to breakfast. Thank you.

Al Mercato B&B is a small but comfortable B&B in the heart of Siena just off the Piazza del Campo. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. If you are looking for a comfortable place to park you bags and explore Siena's charming streets on foot, this is an excellent lodging to add to your list for consideration.

Structure located very close to Piazza del Campo, rooms not furnished with current standards but still decent and in line with the context, not suitable for long stays but perfect for one or two nights. Parking cost should be taken into account, which with the hotel agreement is € 25.00 per day.

Cute, clean and quiet hotel. Large room, beautiful view of the Market square. Kind but not intrusive welcome. Poor breakfast, no fresh fruit, no wholemeal bread, long-life milk... in short, it would take very little to make it excellent! I think of returning to this structure.

The structure has an enviable location, in the center of Siena and just behind Piazza del Campo. This is its best feature. The single room was small and not very bright, but it had everything needed for a short stay. The breakfast is a bit sparse but the staff is very kind and prepared.

Abbiamo soggiornato "Al Mercato" due notti e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La posizione è davvero ottima, in centro città. La sera, essendo la struttura affacciata ad una piazza, si possono sentire un pò di rumori che comunque poi terminano e permettono un buon riposo. Colazione buona ed abbondante. Molto buona anche l'accoglienza!

Ottima posizione, alle spalle della piazza più importante di Siena e si affaccia nella piazza mercato. L'unica pecca è la struttura vecchia e non ristrutturata di recente. Camera doppia ampia con bagno piccolissimo.

Il palazzo dove il B&B è posto è un edificio del XII secolo, dichiarato patrimonio UNESCO, quindi forse invece di usare l'aggettivo "vecchio" sarebbe il caso di usare quello "antico". Nel rispetto della storia di questo palazzo medievale, anche nella ristrutturazione degli interni abbiamo cercato di fare del nostro meglio adattando gli spazi senza pero stravolgerli. Per questo ogni camera è particolare e diversa dalle altre, ma questo è anche uno dei nostri punti forti. Cordiali saluti, Al Mercato B&B.
