If you are looking for a place full of peace and quiet in the Apulian countryside, where you can enjoy the flavors, scents and colors of Puglia and from which to discover the endless treasures that this land and this sea offer you, the Masseria Santanna is the place for you.

The Masseria Santanna is an architectural structure built in 1857 and now a protected rural building.

Surrounded by pastures and olive groves of the Murgia has long been a place of agricultural and livestock production and place of shelter for the shepherds and their flocks during the transhumance.

Today the farm is a B&B that welcomes all those who want to spend in the countryside and relax in their holidays.

Cancellation conditions (except for non-refundable rates)

You may cancel your booking up to 7 days before the check-in date. In the case of failure to show or late cancellation, the deposit or advance payment will not be refunded

Payment terms

Balance to be paid at check-in
For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

For a booking including breakfast, breakfast is served from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM
Municipal tax of €1.00 per person per night is applicable up to 14 consecutive days maximum. Children aged under 12 do not pay municipal tax
Only first linen change is provided
Extra towel changes, if requested, cost €10.00
Extra sheet changes, if requested, cost €15.00
Rooms are cleaned every 1 days. To allow staff to clean, we recommend leaving the room at 11:00 AM
Final cleaning is included in the price
No meal preparation allowed in rooms
No guests allowed in rooms

Wonderful place in rural Apulia. Great and warm-hearted hostesses. Spectacular breakfast with local specialties. A unique accommodation, lovingly, tastefully, and comfortably furnished. Well located, all attractions easily reachable by car. Gladly always again!

The structure is located in a convenient, quiet, and very pleasant location. Pina and Daniela are two exquisite, welcoming, and friendly people, and their breakfasts are super good.

We stayed at B&B Masseria Santanna for 4 days. We had a great time, firstly because it is very close to tourist places like Alberobello, Monopoli, and Polignano. The owners were very kind and hospitable, making sure we lacked nothing. The place is truly immersed in the absolute quietness; the rooms were typical of a Masseria, small but cozy; the breakfast was very abundant and varied. In conclusion, what can I say, it's a place we will gladly return to. We highly recommend it! The only downside is the last stretch of road to get there, an unpaved road full of stones; you really have to go at a very slow pace to avoid damaging the car.

What more can I say! Masseria Santanna is located in a hilly area among beautiful olive groves in a charming, quiet, and peaceful place, about ten kilometers from the town of Monopoli but allows you to easily reach interesting tourist locations from a cultural and tourist point of view. It gave us some very pleasant and relaxing days. It is worth noting the welcome and kindness of Pina and Daniela, the excellent breakfast with surprise treats, and the possibility of using the kitchen to cook a meal independently. We also highlight the option to rent bicycles at the tourist information center in Monopoli for just €10 per day.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this beautiful masseria. A truly peaceful place, immersed in nature and suitable for those seeking tranquility. Magnificent place to recharge your batteries. The hostesses are very sweet and kind, always ready for a chat and to give you advice. Abundant and genuine breakfast. The masseria is located halfway between the main villages. We highly recommend it.

Masseria Santanna was the experience we needed to recharge our batteries: upon our arrival we are greeted by a familiar atmosphere and the courtesy and kindness of Pina, which immediately makes us feel at ease and breathe an air of relaxation and vacation. The masseria is located on a beautiful hill, immersed in the Puglian countryside, the stone pool is an added bonus to the already beautiful structure well maintained by the two hosts Pina and Daniela who dedicate their days to keeping the common areas of the masseria and the private rooms in top condition. What strikes most about this beautiful structure is Pina and Daniela's choice to keep technology away from the guests' stay in the masseria, so there are no TVs in the structure, while the very good Wi-Fi connection allows guests a connection to the outside world if desired. Breathing this air of authentic life, made possible starting from the rich and organic breakfasts, to the evenings spent in the front patio talking and getting to know each other, to the beautiful pool in the masseria's garden and the company of Pina and Daniela's two little dogs, made our stay at Masseria Santanna a unique and special experience. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a beautiful moment of true vacation, pampered by the peace of not having access to the technology we are accustomed to, but rediscovering the joy of dedicating time to reading, listening to others, and discovering the beautiful places that are a short distance from the masseria, which in its optimal location offers the possibility to visit the beautiful beaches of the coast but also the highly recommended villages of the hinterland (a few km from Alberobello, Ostuni, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Castellana Grotte). Thank you Pina and Daniela for welcoming us with a beautiful smile and giving us the wonderful vacation we experienced also thanks to the magical place where we were able to stay, we will definitely come back soon to see you!

Masseria stupenda immersa nel verde in una pace e tranquillità surreale, allo stesso tempo in 10 minuti di auto si raggiungono le vicinissime Monopoli e Alberobello. Posto strategico per visitare tutto l'hinterland: Matera, Fasano, Grotte di Castellana, Polignano a mare, Ostuni, ecc. Una delle poche masserie rimasta intatta strutturalmente, gestita da Pina e Daniela che ci hanno accolto amichevolmente. Stanze pulitissime con arredamento caratteristico, colazione gustosa con prodotti a km zero. Appena possibile ci torneremo molto volentieri.

Bellissima masseria tra le colline di Monopoli. In agosto è molto più tranquillo soggiornare qui che nei paesi sulla costa, troppo caotici e con seri problemi di parcheggio. La masseria è inoltre vicinissima a Alberobello, alle Grotte di Castellana, Conversano e in posizione ottima per raggiungere la strada che arriva a Ostuni dall'interno.

Hey, I'm Pina & Daniela

We are Pina and Daniela and have made available to our guests the rooms on the first floor of the farm. Pina has the passion for music and friends call her at their party to wall the "dj". It is a social agronomy and work with the sciatic cooperative Nuovi Sentieri, dealing with agricultural land management according to the biological method and the employment of people with difficulties. Daniela for passion is a massoterapist and for work it is about tutoring the job placement of disadvantaged people at the social cooperative New Paths I am attentive and sensitive to environmental issues and contrary to all forms of discrimination. Our farm is a friendly place where, in particular, homosexuals can feel at home and those traveling with their dog, cat and the like, can stay in the farm without problems.

Area Campagna

The area where our farm is located contains numerous routes for bicycle lovers and walking tours. The cyclotourism trails are marked by special billboards. A few kilometers away lies the Canal of Pyrrhus and the Puglia Waterway, a very important area from a naturalistic and historic point of view, and a pave-treachery immersed in the greenery. Around us there are plenty of restaurants and bars where you can taste all of our food and wine, with prices suitable for all pockets. Our area is hilly and cool to stay and sleep in the cool, and in ten minutes you reach the coast of Monopoli where you can dive into the crystal clear sea and eat mesce in the numerous sea lids
