This wonderful Bed & Breakfast deserves the highest marks on all levels. It has the Italian charm of an old house located on the slope of a valley, offering beautiful views and tranquility of a small village. The room was very comfortable, spacious and impeccably clean. And all this is topped with an amazing hospitality of the owner, Giancarlo, the most kind, attentive host. He made us a wonderful breakfast with a selection of local cheese and prosciutto, honey and home made jams, yoghurt and fresh fruit. He even baked fresh pastries, some of which we took with us on a hike. He also recommended and insisted on helping us with reservations for dinner at local restaurants (fantastic food). Last but not least he gave us great advice and information on local attractions and walks, as well as on the best places on our route through Italy. This was a very special and unforgettable stay. I recommend Lo Sghimbescio very warmly to anyone discovering this beautiful region.

Ospitalità e accoglienza, pulizia, stile di arredo delle camere e degli spazi comuni, colazione, cornice naturalistica e silenzio sono sicuramente i punti forti della struttura. Ma lo sono in un modo "non-ordinario". Vi è, infatti, un leit-motiv che concede a tutto questo un aspetto fiabesco e un alone di magia: la minuziosa attenzione ai dettagli, ai loro significati e a quanto evocano, un po' come nel libro "Le città invisibili" di Italo Calvino: dove segni, linguaggi, parole, scambi e memorie disegnano inediti tragitti di scoperte e sorprese; dove il reale si confonde con l’immaginario; dove al viaggiatore è concesso di ritrovare un suo passato che non sapeva più d'avere. A voi la curiosità e il piacere di scoprire tutti questi particolari e di rimanerne affascinati. Con un consiglio: fermatevi più giorni, e ritornate più volte, girando tra le varie stanze, perché ogni stanza presenta arredi, colori, profumi, quadri, libri, sfumature, atmosfere e ricchezze di particolari che possono proiettarvi in una dimensione a se stante.

Posto molto carino con camere, sala colazione e salottino incantevoli. La gentilezza del padrone di casa ha fatto il resto, oltre ai buonissimi prodotti serviti a colazione. Nella casa che ha una splendido giardino si respira un'aria di serenità e quasi magica. Da consigliare assolutamente.
