Abatea Guesthouse

Our "Guesthouse Abatea", where is located the room called "Peonia Room" (double room 24sqm) is situated in a great location, right in the heart of town, just 50 meters far from St. Mark’s Square.
It is very convenient for arrivals and departures from the city of Venice, but at the same time already fully immersed in the typical Venetian atmosphere: the room "Dalia" is equipped with LED TV, individually controlled heating and air conditioning, free WiFi and has an ensuite bathroom.

Upon request, this room can also be triple by adding an extra single bed (50,00 euro daily).
The environment has been recently renovated to provide a pleasant and relaxing stay: the "Guesthouse Abatea" has 4 private rooms, each one with its own private bathroom, all equipped with hairdryers.
Kitchen and dining room are shared with other guests.
In the kitchen you can find some useful appliances: a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, an American coffee machine, an Italian espresso coffee machine and a fridge (it is not possible, however, to use the gas top and the oven, because it is not allowed by the municipal regulation).
Breakfast is not provided, but you can easily have it in one of the many bars located close to our apartment or, if you prefer, you can prepare it in the apartment, by using the appliances provided in the kitchen (a supermarket is nearby, just 5 minutes walk from the apartment).
Abatea is located very close to St. Mark’s boat-stop (San Marco Vallaresso and San Marco Giardinetti) and to get to our apartment you don’t have to cross any bridge.
You can easily reach the apartment both from the airports "Marco Polo VCE" and “Antonio Canova TSF” in Treviso, as well as from the Cruise Terminal and the parking areas at the Piazzale Roma and at the Tronchetto.
The structure, located on the 3rd floor, without elevator: we recommend, therefore, to travel as light as possible (another important advice: in Venice wear only comfortable shoes).
Abatea is just a stone's throw from the most famous historical and artistic attractions of the city.
Rialto Bridge is just 8 minutes walk from the apartment.
The Guesthouse is also just 5 minutes from “La Fenice” Theatre, ideal for those who love theatre and music.
In a few minutes walk, you can get to Doge’s Palace, the St. Mark’s Basilica, the Correr Museum and the Civic Museum.
In around 20 minutes you can get to the “Giardini” (Gardens), where there is the Biennale Exhibition: these gardens in the east of Venice have been the traditional venue for the popular International Art and Architecture Exhibition since 1895 (several pavilions in the Gardens were designed and built by famous architects).
From Abatea you can also easily get to the Accademia Bridge, where you can spend a visit to the Accademia Galleries, the museum that collects the best tradition of Venetian art, with paintings by Tiziano, Tintoretto and Tiepolo.
In around 15 minutes walk you can get to Peggy Guggenheim Museum, the most important museum in Italy for European and American art of the first half of the 20th century.
Not far from there there is also “Punta della Dogana - Contemporary Art Centre”.
The excellent position of this apartment allows to get to a multitude of restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops that are all in the neighboring area.
