- from 26 to 1 days before the check-in date, you will be charged a penalty of 0% of the total cost of the booking;
- A penalty of 100% of the entire cost of the stay is applied for failure to show or cancellation on day of arrival;

Very comfortable and pleasant B&B. Having access to a fridge is really helpful and also the ability to make a cup of tea. Only small issue is car parking. Can be difficult as roads around B&B are full of residents cars therefore finding a car parking space can be tricky. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean, functional apartment, ideally located for walking tours. We parked the car for free on the street near the house, very convenient. The owner gave us great advice for visiting and we were delighted. Very good breakfast. Thank you Nicolas!

Excellent judgment for the room, sufficient, basic breakfast. The only problem is the cash payment (lack of POS for technical reasons). I would add the lack of invoice issuance, nor receipt of the so-called tourist tax. It might be professional bias, but I would say it can be improved in this respect.

The B&B La Gemma dei Sassi is new and well-maintained, located in a great location. It is close to the center, so you can walk out without using the car, but at the same time, it is far from the chaos. As a result, you rest very well at night. The breakfast offered is excellent. Additionally, the guys at the B&B are super friendly and provided us with a lot of useful information about the city.

Recently renovated structure with spacious rooms. Very good location (about 1 km from the center) and cleanliness. Friendly, kind, and helpful staff. The only thing to improve is the variety in breakfast and the space dedicated to it. Recommended.

The structure appears hospitable and central. Mr. Nicola is truly an affable and discreet person and put us at ease. The cleanliness is optimal as well as the breakfast and the value for money. The only flaw is the loft room which, in our opinion, deserves blackout curtains to ensure better rest.

Rooms in vico Torquato Tasso. New and clean structure. There is very little privacy in the two rooms because, one being a ground floor room and the other a loft room, you can hear everything that happens in one room from the other. The breakfast was embarrassing: very little choice and little privacy. I would like to mention Mr. Nicola, our host: kind, affable, and valuable for the advice he gave us.

Salve sig.ra Renzulli, spiace che nonostante abbiate soggiornato in una struttura nuova tipica dei Sassi, tra l'altro fresca senza i problemi di umidità riscontrati nelle strutture dei Sassi, con parcheggio pubblico gratuito senza disco orario, spiegazioni con mappa per il tour, colazione con prodotti tipici locali freschi e non imbustati da supermercato non sia stato apprezzato. Tutti i clienti sino ad oggi mi elogiano per la colazione, vedasi le recensioni su tutti i portali da Booking a Airb&b, da Google a Bed&Breakfast, perché offro tutti i prodotti freschi tipici locali sia salati (focacce classiche, alle patate, pane IGP di Matera) che dolci (cornetti pasticceria, trecce zuccherato di Matera, muffin), oltre a frutta, yogurt, fette, Nutella, confetture, succhi di ogni tipo, acqua, caffè, tisane, cappuccino ed altro. Inoltre abbiamo prodotti per i celiaci, senza lattosio, ed altro. La colazione non è un pranzo, una cena, inoltre si ricordi che ha pagato per la camera tripla solo € 79,00 incluso la colazione mentre come ben sa avrebbe pagato in altre strutture il doppio. La prossima volta prenoti un hotel pagando molto di più e vedrà se riceverà lo stesso trattamento riservatole da me. Mi scuso ma dovevo farle presente quanto sopra così la prossima volta prima di recensire una struttura ci pensi bene e non stia solo a criticare senza obiettività. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di visitare Matera e di soggiornare in questa struttura, arredata con gusto, comoda, pulita, a pochi passi dai Sassi e dal centro città. Ottimamente accolti da Nicola e Alina, ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio. La colazione è ricca e varia: oltre al confezionato vengono serviti cibi freschi dolci e salati. La colazione era anche un momento di arricchimento culturale; Nicola ci intratteneva con informazioni utili e curiose sulla città e le sue bellezze. È stato davvero gentile e disponibile anche ad accompagnarci in auto quando necessario. Consigliatissimo per tutto.

Locali nuovi e puliti, personale gentile, ampio parcheggio pubblico. Fermata autobus a 150 metri. Per raggiungere il centro camminando si impiegano 25 minuti. Necessaria una tenda oscurante per una delle camere che si affaccia sull'ingresso comune.

Struttura molto accogliente, super pulita e praticamente attaccata all'ingresso del sasso barisano. Ma la differenza la fanno Nicola e sua moglie. Ci hanno illustrato percorsi e raccontato perfettamente le caratteristiche dei luoghi e dei vari monumenti. Grazie alle indicazioni di Nicola abbiamo visitato Matera come mai prima, regalandoci un'esperienza fantastica. Ritorneremo sicuramente e lo consiglio al 100%. Struttura pulita e strategicamente molto comoda. Parcheggio fuori dalla porta (lungo la strada, non a pagamento), ma a 5 minuti a piedi dalla centrale piazza V. Veneto. Camera spaziosa, non manca nulla. Il bagno sembra nuovo, la doccia è molto ampia. Wifi perfettamente funzionante. Colazione abbondante e varia (compresi cappuccio e caffè espresso); libero accesso al frigorifero anche durante il giorno. Gestore cordiale, non solo per l'ospitalità. Ci ha fornito utilissime indicazioni per ottimizzare la visita alla città e suggerimenti per i punti da cui scattare le foto migliori. Consigliatissimo, se tornassi a Matera alloggerei di certo qui.

Accoglienza ottima, staff disponibile e molto preparato nel dare indicazioni sui luoghi da visitare. Molta attenzione nella pulizia. Colazione ottima con cornetti di pasticceria e focaccia locale, ovviamente caffè, cappuccino, succhi, acqua, frutta, yogurt. Sorpresa gradita alla partenza: una pagnotta di pane locale. Appena possibile torniamo.

Mi sono trovato molto bene sia con i gestori di questo B&B che nella struttura (nuova e ben pulita). A due passi dal centro storico, si trova in posizione strategica per chi arriva a Matera in auto (possibilità di parcheggio). Buona la colazione, disponibile anche una cucina a disposizione degli ospiti.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato una notte alla Gemma dei Sassi. Camera molto bella, pulita e confortevole. Gentilissimo il gestore, disponibile e attento. Posizione ottimale in quanto vicinissimo al centro (ci si arriva in pochi minuti a piedi) e con parcheggio comodo per auto. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Struttura nuova ben rifinita, pulitissima, gestori cordiali e premurosi, colazione abbondante e posizione strategica. Il parcheggio gratuito lo si trova di fronte la struttura. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è eccellente. Nel corso degli anni tra tutti i B&B in cui ho soggiornato, sia in Italia che all'estero, La Gemma dei Sassi è risultato il migliore. Che dire ve lo consiglio anzi straconsiglio.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura due notti. Siamo stati veramente molto bene. Colazione ottima, camere molto pulite ed accoglienti. Wi-Fi funzionante a dispetto di qualche altro albergo. Lascia un po a desiderare l'esterno ma questo non dipende dai gestori. Per una visita alla città di Matera Vi consiglio questa struttura.

Abbiamo pernottato due notti nel periodo di Pasqua. È un ottimo B&B, situato in una posizione strategica. Ambiente pulitissimo ed accogliente. La direzione familiare è accorta su tutti i particolari ed è molto disponibile a fornire informazioni. Molto consigliato.

Abbiamo trascorso un magnifico fine settimana a Matera e la nostra permanenza alla gemma dei sassi è stata molto positiva: struttura restaurata di recente, dotata di condizionatore e wifi, comodo parcheggio libero proprio di fronte allo stabile, piacevole passeggiata di 10 minuti per raggiungere la zona sassi e il centro. Alina e Nicola gestiscono il B&B con grandissima premura e cortesia: basti dire che ci hanno assistito persino nel far ripartire l'auto quando l'abbiamo trovata con la batteria scarica. Consigliamo di cuore questa struttura.

Una piacevole scoperta. Una casa tradizionale riqualificata in maniera moderna e molto confortevole. Il centro è raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. Accoglienza e ospitalità veramente deliziose. Consigliato vivamente.
