The Masseria owes its name to the twelve underground granaries that adorn the inner courtyard, a spacious area where guests can gather in a relaxed and social atmosphere. After a careful renovation, the facility has preserved its original character through the use of authentic materials and eco-friendly practices, ensuring an environmentally-friendly stay.

We were guests of Tommaso and Renata (and the cat Spillo) at Masseria dei 12 Granai for 7 nights, a place where the hectic city time stops to make room for the rhythms and colors of nature. The Masseria is simply stunning, tastefully curated down to the smallest details. Beautiful the opportunity to visit the snowhouse and the granaries, carved directly into the rock. \n\nThe rooms, cleaned daily, are bright and spacious, with a small private garden space. The buffet breakfast includes sweet and savory dishes, with delicious pasticciotti and cakes made by Renata herself, the carrot cake is a must.\n\nThe location is strategically located in Salento, the first beaches are only a 15-minute drive away. The added value, however, comes from the presence of Tommaso and Renata. They are passionate hosts, who, knowing the territory very well, can offer excellent advice. We will definitely return.

We stayed for 4 days. Very comfortable structure, typical 1700s farmhouse that the owners have managed to keep the charm of the era. The owners are very nice, hospitable, kind, and extremely helpful. Absolutely recommend to our friends, and not only.

We had a great time! Tommaso and Renata are fantastic hosts and the Masseria dei 12 Granai is an authentic place full of history, peace, and relaxation! The Masseria is in a great location to visit the various villages of Salento: 10 minutes from Otranto and 30 from Lecce and Gallipoli. I recommend everyone to spend a few days in this facility if you want to stay away from the city chaos but at the same time be close to the main points of interest! The family atmosphere that the managing couple Renata and Tommaso know how to convey to the guests immediately makes the stay pleasant. The location is strategic for every excursion in Salento, guaranteeing tranquility and silence upon return in the evening, allowing you to reprocess the intense landscape and cultural emotions offered by this corner of Puglia. Breakfast, always taken care of by the interactive presence of the managers, becomes a community moment to share the itineraries that each group intends to tackle during the day. At a reasonable price in a completely renovated structure with necessary services. A farmhouse that we recommend to everyone also to discover and visit the 12 granaries!

We had a good time. The owners are friendly and the property is a beautiful restoration of a historic building. However, the use of a car is essential as there is little nearby and the nearest sea is at least 15 minutes away.

We stayed only two nights but it deserved a longer stay, also considering the location that allows you to easily reach many places in Salento. Tommaso and Renata are two exquisite people and Tommaso gave us very useful indications of beautiful, uncrowded places to visit. Highly recommended.
