Cisternino is a country of about 12 thousand inhabitants of the province of Brindisi . It is part of the prestigious club of The most beautiful villages of Italy and of Italian Municipalities Jewel . It overlooks the valley Itria , the so-called Murgia Dei Trulli.
Perched on a height of 394 meters, overlooking on one side the Itria Valley, and on the other, a few km from the sea, at the long expanses of olive groves. The historic center of Cisternino, which has been called "a great architectural masterpiece without architects", is rich in sights to discover and alleys in which to walk immersed in the white of its houses.
