All our rooms are wide and airy and they are equipped with inside bathroom, TV set, hairdryer, air-conditioning/central heating operated independently, wireless Internet free, bath and bed linen. The furnishing is déco style with 19th century pieces of furniture.

Inside each room there is a nice table and some chairs so that customers can peacefully have their buffet breakfast in their own room as well as their lunch and dinner. Some of our rooms have also a balcony showing on to the square and some others overlooking Monte Oliveto green and peaceful park.

Cancellation conditions (except for non-refundable rates)

You may cancel your booking up to 3 days before the check-in date. In the case of failure to show or late cancellation, you will be charged a penalty of 100% of the total cost of the booking

Payment terms

Balance to be paid at check-in
For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

More accurately, I'd like to rate this property 7.5. The main positive was the host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Shaila was flexible with our dates, even with a last minute flight change, and very understanding. She was a huge positive for booking the room. The location was quiet and further out from the main sites which we enjoyed. It took us about 20-30 min to walk to most sites which seemed to bother my husband more than it bothered me. The room was similar to photos however there were some issues. I found it very dusty in the room & had issues with allergies. The bathroom definitely had a very musty smell throughout our stay. There was only a bathroom mirror which showed head up but no way to view your outfit. The curtains did not do an adequate job of blocking out light, even at night when it was "dark". The biggest issue was the room smelled like cigarettes despite booking a non-smoking room. I think these issues are not necessarily related to the cleanliness of the room, but more it being in an older building & not being updated however it did have a significant impact on how much we enjoyed the stay.

Frühstück in Pasticcerie/Bar Pegasus + großer Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle zur Benutzung + kostenlose Getränke (Wasser, Tee, Kaffee) - Zimmer, Bad, Einrichtung sehr schlicht und in die Jahre gekommen - kleines fensterloses Bad - Gepäck tragen über Treppe in 2. Stock - an Straßenecke/vielbefahrener Straße gelegen - 30 Min Gehen bis Zentrum/Dom.

In der Beschreibung steht folgender Satz: "Freuen Sie sich auf einen Flachbild-TV und einen Tisch und Stühle, wo Sie Ihr kontinentales Frühstücksbuffet genießen können. " Also es gibt kein Frühstücksbuffet in der Unterkunft. Man bekommt Gutscheine für eine Pasticceria etwa 200 Meter von der Unterkunft entfernt. Man bekommt zwei Stück Gebäck (Croissant sind ein wahrer Traum) und einen Kaffee oder Tee. Es hätte mich abgeschreckt, dass es kein Frühstück in der Unterkunft gibt, aber so war man gezwungen, mal in eine echte Pasticceria zu gehen, und das Leben bzw. das Erwachen der Italiener live mitzuerleben. Da es Samstag bis Montag Früh war, konnte man auch gratis innerhalb der blauen Park-Streifen parken. Es war zum ersten Mal B&B überhaupt. Da ich Hotels gewohnt bin, bin ich sicherlich kein Maßstab aber für mich kommt in Zukunft wieder ein Hotel in Frage. Für einen kurzen Trip in Florenz und wer gerne etwas spaziert bis man ins Zentrum zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten kommt, ist die Lage vollkommen in Ordnung.

Gestore molto gentile, premuroso e accogliente, ma molto discreto, non invadente. B&B comodo per raggiungere il centro storico, anche a piedi, attraversando San Frediano. Un'occasione per scoprire la Firenze meno turistica. Letto molto comodo, stanza semplice, curata e silenziosa, nonostante la zona di passaggio, bagno con tutto il necessario.

Posizione ottima, a distanza pedonale rispetto alla stazione ed al centro, la mia camera era silenziosa e spaziosa. Il prezzo è alto per essere un B&B ma in linea con i prezzi molto alti di Firenze. Attenzione perché non c'è ascensore, è un secondo piano, per me non è stato un grosso problema ma per qualcuno può essere disagevole. La colazione non viene preparata nella struttura ma si dispone di un buono per consumarla in una ottima pasticceria nelle vicinanze, questa è un po' una pecca rispetto al sovrapprezzo pagato in prenotazione che è analogo, se non superiore, a ciò che uno pagherebbe facendo colazione al bar in autonomia. La signora della reception è stata cordiale e molto disponibile.

Il B&B è ubicato in zona semi centrale, servito male dai mezzi pubblici, non ha parcheggio privato. La colazione servita in un bar vicino la struttura permette di poter prendere 2 tra cornetti o altro e una bevanda calda a scelta.

La struttura si presenta curata e funzionale. Il responsabile è molto presente (anche troppo). Fra le note dolenti l'ubicazione molto periferica rispetto ai siti d'interesse turistico, la mancanza di un ascensore e la difficoltà nell'utilizzo dei mezzi pubblici.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura per una notte. Il gestore è stato molto gentile, ci ha fornito anche una mappa per visitare i luoghi clou di Firenze con le relative fermate dei bus. La camera molto pulita e letto comodo. Un ricco buffet per colazione. Una esperienza assolutamente da ripetere!

Ho soggiornato due notti in questa struttura con i miei figli, i proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili. La struttura è ubicata appena fuori il centro che è comunque raggiungibile a piedi con una passeggiata. Anche la stazione è raggiungibile a piedi. La stanza era spaziosa, carina e sopratutto pulita. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura nel mese di agosto. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti della nostra scelta. La struttura è ben tenuta, pulitissima e con tutti i comfort, compreso il condizionatore che ci ha salvato dal folle caldo nell'agosto fiorentino! Pur non essendo in posizione centralissima è comodo ai mezzi e col bus arrivare in centro è semplicissimo. Un particolare ringraziamento a Stefano e alla sua disponibilità e professionalità!

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura dal 20 al 24 ottobre insieme a mio marito. Ci siamo trovati bene, i titolari sono stati cortesissimi. Abbiamo apprezzato soprattutto la pulizia, la vicinanza al centro di Firenze (raggiungibile in un quarto d'ora a piedi) e a numerosi locali, bar ristoranti, servizi in genere. Ottima anche la vicinanza di un garage per sistemare l'auto.

Siamo stati altre volte e ci siamo tornati per l'affidabilità. Tutto ciò che è scritto nella presentazione corrisponde a vero. Devo marcare la cordialità dei due fratelli e la comodità che sia una struttura al limite della zona ZTL, con facili collegamenti cittadini in pullman o con brevi passeggiate.

Located in San Frediano, a suggestive area in the very heart of Florence, it is just 10 minutes’walk from the greatest art galleries and museums. It can be reached either by car (it is just outside the ZTL area, “Limited Traffic Area”) or, if you prefer, by bus or taxi which are available and easy to get, particularly if you need to go to Piazzale Michelangelo and to visit the great exhibitions of the Fortezza.
