Casa Formica is a Bed & Breakfast located inside a former farmhouse of the first half of 800, located 7 km from the historic center of Pisa, 20 minutes from the city of Lucca, 15 minutes from the sea, and only 6 km from 'Cisanello Hospital and the CNR.

In the entire hotel beamed ceilings stand out as the tradition of the Tuscan farmhouse.

Its proximity to the major points of interest and major roads and its distance from the chaos of the city, makes it unique and attractive to those who are also looking for peacefulness and relaxation.

B&B casa Formica offers two housing solutions:
- the apartment "Mary" (1 to 5 beds)
- the apartment/studio "Iacopo" (1 to 2 beds)
- the apartment "Formichino" (1 to 4 beds)
The apartment "Mary", totally independent from the rest of the house, is made in an old barn and has a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room loft from which you can appreciate the surrounding environment, and the bedroom (35 sqm) with the bathroom
The apartment/studio "Iacopo" (40sqm) consists of: kitchen, living room with double bed, bathroom
Apartment 'Formichinò is a rustic outbuilding newly built large about 40 sqm.

The property features beamed ceilings, as the tradition of the typical rustic Tuscan farmhouse. The apartment consists of a equipped kitchen with dining room, bedroom, bathroom with shower, a private garden and parking. The property can accommodate up to 4 people and is ideal for a couple or a family with children
Highlight of the entire building is the garden (3000 sqm), fully equipped with tables, chairs and umbrellas to allow our guests to enjoy their breakfast outdoors (in fine weather), relax after a day of "hard work" or reading a book under one of the big mulberry trees that dominate the entire vegetation.

Quiet location just over 7km from Piza. Fantastic family to look after your every need. Iacopo and his mother and father looked after us so well we did not want to leave. The 'Mary' surpassed my expectations, the breakfast was sumptious and the surroundings were just what was needed after the hustle and bustle of both Piza and Florence. Good train service to all of Tuscany.

Très bon accueil des propriétaires qui n'hésitent pas a vous donner de bons conseils. Gite très agréable et propre. L'endroit est tranquille. Il est très bien situé pour visiter Pise, Volterra, San Gimignano et aller à la mer. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et très complet (sucré et salé) pour seulement 3.50€ par personne. Un grand merci à Iacopo et sa maman. Bonne adresse à garder pour prochain séjour.

Ich habe ein paar super Tage bei der Familie verbracht. Es fühlte mich wie ein Familienmitglied, da man im gleichen Haus lebt und auch die Räume zum Essen mit benutzt. Das Frühstück war vollkommen auf mich abgestimmt. Ich bekam das was ich gern essen wollte. Einfach ein super Service. Auch das Navi wurde mir in der völlig neuen Umgebung zur besseren Orientierung überlassen. Ich komm gern hierher wieder.

Spacious and very nice apartment, with relaxing spaces and, for those who need it, workstations, surrounded by greenery and equipped with every comfort. Strategic location to visit Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia and Livorno. Iacopo, the manager, is very welcoming, attentive to guests' needs and helpful. Very good breakfast with fresh products. The stay fully met our needs, even in terms of costs.

It was a wonderful stay, immersed in nature and tranquility, in a beautiful structure in the outskirts of Pisa and the center reachable in 15 minutes by car. Casa Formica has all the comforts, new and tasteful bath and bed linen. The house is also very well furnished and lacks nothing. Excellent and much appreciated the welcome of the owner Jacopo, whom I greet and thank for the beautiful days spent in his splendid structure.

Very pleasant welcome and stay made simple and enjoyable thanks to the presence of not only beautiful but also useful furnishings. There is a library and a beautiful green space. The place is not far from the main Tuscan tourist destinations (excellent value for money). And you move around by car without any problems. Convenient parking included. Highly recommended! We stayed at Casa Formica during Lucca comix. The owner is a really polite and helpful person. The apartment is very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything, also a nice garden is available. Highly recommended.

Like being at Casa Formica and maybe even better. It's the first time we find ourselves with no notes to make: everything perfect! Beyond expectations. Super helpful, kind, and caring manager. We stayed in the finely furnished annex complete with everything. The huge well-kept garden and the silence around were an additional treat.

Bellissima struttura nuovissima, super pulita e ultra accessoriata con la disponibilità di ogni confort che sia possibile immaginare in un bed & breakfast. Stanze ampie e comodo, bagno completo con grande doccia, letti comodissimi, pace e tranquillità della campagna toscana con il centro di Pisa a soli 15 minuti in auto. Grandissimo giardino arredato e con giochi per bimbi e aree private per gli ospiti, colazione abbondante e varia, gestore gentilissimo e prodigo di consigli e informazioni sugli itinerari turistici migliori della zona e sulle varie attrazioni o locali. Il meglio che si possa desiderare qui lo trovate. Raccomandatissimo. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una villetta separata dal corpo centrale e avevamo a disposizione esclusiva un bilocale con ampia stanza matrimoniale, cabina armadio, grande bagno e soggiorno con cucina completa e divano letto matrimoniale francese, tutto nuovissimo e pulitissimo, con a disposizione tutto l'occorrente per bevande calde e gli ingredienti di base per una cucina, mentre in bagno c'erano persino salviettine struccanti, cerotti, assorbenti e cotone idrofilo. all'esterno avevamo un ampio patio arredato riservato solo a noi dove poter fare colazione in caso di bel tempo. Ho dato 9 solo alla posizione perché per alcuni la centralità è importante e la struttura si trova in un tranquillo paesino alle porte di Pisa e non in città ma questo per me è un pregio perché si gode di grande silenzio e pace, si ha a disposizione un posto auto personale interno e non si rischia di cercare parcheggio per ore nel centro di Pisa molto caotico, affollato e con grande penuria di parcheggi tutti a pagamento. E' l'ideale per muoversi verso le località turistiche della zona.

Per chi cerca un appartamentino come base di appoggio per escursioni in zona direi che è una locazione perfetta. Inoltre il bel giardino e la tranquillità del posto ti permette anche di riposarti tra una gita e l'altra. Pulizia perfetta, ambiente nuovo. Colazione abbondante e, soprattutto, con possibilità di personalizzarla perché il gestore è disponibilissimo e ti chiede giorno per giorno. Pisa è a due passi, la Certosa a 15 minuti. Lucca a 35 minuti. Il mare è vicino. Se dovessi tornare in zona non avrei dubbi nel sceglierlo nuovamente.

Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni molto piacevoli. Luogo incantevole immerso nella natura, gestori veramente simpatici. Ottima la colazione preparata con cura da Iacopo. E che dire della piccola Anna, creatura amabile. Insomma un vero ambiente familiare dove trascorrere una bella vacanza.

Eccezionale, camera grandissima completa di ogni confort, la posizione è ottima per chi desidera trascorre dei giorni in totale relax lontano dalla confusione di città. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili. Ottima anche la colazione. Sembra davvero di sentirsi a casa. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Consigliato!

Ottimo e accogliente B&B alle porte di Pisa. La camera enorme e calda con bagno anche spazioso. Pulita graziosa e piena di dettagli. Non manca nulla. Il contesto molto rustico è accogliente ed è come stare in famiglia. Iacopo e famiglia gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. Siamo stati bene. Ottima struttura in un casale ristrutturato in modo perfetto con all'interno mobili libri e camini favolosi. La stanza è molto confortevole, inoltre la pulizia è ottima. Per finire, la gentilezza e la disponibilità della famiglia Formica è impareggiabile, sembra di essere a casa di amici, ci si sente in famiglia. Cosa aggiungere, provatelo perché ne vale veramente la pena.

Carissimi Jacopo, Cristina e Mario ci siamo trovate veramente bene, grazie per le chiacchiere e del tempo che ci avete dedicato! Camera (più che camera direi appartamento) cambio degli asciugamani e pulizia giornaliera delle stanze. Molti libri e riviste a disposizione degli ospiti! l casale e stato ristrutturato in maniera direi perfetta, posto é delizioso immerso nel verde la notte un silenzio magnifico. Non abbiamo potuto godere del giardino curatissimo causa maltempo che non ha dato tregua, se non il giorno della partenza. Consigliatissimo.

Grazioso casale, piccolo ma molto curato e di recente ristrutturazione. Appena aperto, camere pulite, cambio degli asciugamani e pulizia giornaliera delle stanze. Molti libri e riviste a disposizione degli ospiti! Colazione abbastanza variegata e con torte fatte in casa. Attenzioni e cura dei particolari fanno di questo posto un B&B a cinque stelle!

Sono stata in questo paradiso con la mia famiglia e devo dire che ci siamo trovati veramente molto ma molto bene, stanze pulite grandi e ben arredate, colazione più che ricca e in fondo, ma non per ultima cosa, l'ospitalità della Signora Cristina del marito Mario e del figlio Jacopo. Consiglio a tutti di soggiornare anche perché molto vicino a Pisa e a Lucca. Elena (MN).
