When I first booked the B&B I was given an incorrect IBAN number to make a deposit. I had to chase down the owner for the correct details. Once booked, I was told later that part of my stay would not be possible as the Saturday was double booked. I found my own accommodations for Saturday but was then told that there would be a problem finding a cleaning service after the other tenants left on Sunday. The breakfast was a stale croissant and I had to make my own coffee. The bidet in the bathroom only produced cold water. When I pointed this out to the owner, she laughed and called me 'Americano'. I am not sure why. Also, the bathroom only contained one roll of toilet paper. Nothing else. No hand soap or body wash. The link to the B&B says you have a private external bathroom. That means you use the bathroom in the hallway and it is free for anyone else to use in the house.

Very beautiful structure immersed in the Umbrian countryside while still being close to Perugia. Hostess very attentive and helpful. Despite being in the area for work, I stayed very pleasantly at Il Giardino di Matilde B&B e Appartamenti. Absolutely recommended!

The B&B is located in a quiet residential area, close to the center, although it's better to have a car for those who can't walk much, as the path is all uphill to get to the city! Marina, the owner, is very helpful and friendly! Recommended.

We had a great time, greeted excellently. The structure is close to the center and near the main road junctions. Easy to reach and easy, from the place, to reach the most famous Umbrian locations. Mrs. Marina was friendly and caring; we felt at home. I recommend it to everyone. Value for money: there are no comparisons. Go!

Very interesting structure! It is not the typical rustic Umbrian farmhouse as it may seem from the outside: a typical Umbrian farmhouse furnished in a modern way with all comforts. Beautiful green countryside quite isolated but not far from Perugia and Assisi. Warm welcome from Mrs. Marina, the owner, who was very kind in indicating where to go and what to visit. Quiet and very clean place, abundant and varied breakfast. Much appreciated. We will certainly be back.
