I stayed 2 nights in this historic building. The property doesn't have a lift but the kind staff helped me carry my luggage to the beautiful room. If compared with the latest buildings, the equipment may be poor but that's a minor issue. The hosts have been living in San Gimignano for a long time and they know everything about San Gimignano. Great staff would help and provide a perfect experience for your stay.

Palazzo Buonaccorsi is a historical palace dating back to the XIII century, and as many old buildings there is no elevator. We have accommodations on the ground floor, first and second floor. The furniture reflects the environment and historicity of the palace, and doors and pavements are all original. It's quite different to other facilities, but it's what we believe makes the experience special and unique. Guests often tell us that they feel like they had been transported into the past. A really nice room decorated respecting the old buildings and surroundings. Our host was excellent and very helpful concerning where to eat and what to see. We were amazed by the accommodation.

In a historic palace in the city center, a comfortable room, although the bathroom is a bit dated. Shared with other guests, a lovely inner courtyard and a large lounge! Very kind welcome with some helpful tips! With a street-facing room, we heard the delivery trucks in the morning.

Fantastic location, lovely and attentive owners who provide valuable information about restaurants, routes, where to park, etc. Spacious and clean rooms, a bit noisy early in the morning (6-7am) from delivery vans and suppliers from the other businesses on the street. I would definitely recommend and would repeat without hesitation as well.

We arrived tired from the journey and found comfort in being in one of the most beautiful sections of the city's main street and in one of the most beautiful buildings: warm brick red like the rest of this wonderful village which has as a counterpoint the crystal gray of its ancient towers. The welcome was full of care and respect: the lady helped us understand that we had parked incorrectly and warned us that we risked a fine. She managed, with our documents, all the registration procedures, making us quickly move the car to areas she clearly indicated with aerial photos that she sent us via WhatsApp. Then, upon returning from the parking lot, we received city maps, information on discounts for museums and more, and tailored travel advice, perfectly understood by the lady. We are very happy with everything, we highly recommend it to those looking for a beautiful and relaxing holiday in Tuscany: San Gimignano and Palazzo Buonaccorsi Residenza d'Epoca.

We had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo Buonaccorsi for two days. The palace is in the historic center, from which you can access all the historical and tourist points of interest. The manager was very welcoming, trying to make us comfortable immediately and also answering our questions about the history and past of San Gimignano. How to go back in time. Excellent location (right in the center of San Gimignano) as well as the welcome. Very large rooms with double beds and antique furniture. Ceilings with frescoes and an atmosphere that brings the past back to life. It's a shame because at the booking (made almost last minute...) the only available rooms had a shared bathroom (but the property was very clear and transparent from the booking, informing us) however very clean. A thank you to the two owners, Marzia and Pierluigi, for their valuable tips with precious indications on places to visit and where to have dinner. Highly recommended.

Staying in a Palazzo from the 300s is a unique experience. Large and bright rooms, recently renovated, clean environments. The renovation was done with care without ruining the essence of the Palazzo, period floors like the closures, furnishings in line with the historicity. The managers are very nice, caring, and attentive to our needs, they advised us on parking and the various places to visit in San Gimignano. We will definitely come back to deepen our knowledge of this splendid town. Waking up in the morning and opening the windows in the center of the village is a beautiful feeling.

Great location in the center of San Gimignano; maybe a bit of disturbance in the morning when they collect the garbage and clean the street, but better the noise than the dirt! Very kind owners who welcomed us with courtesy and expertise. There is no elevator so be prepared to take some steps.

Beautiful historic palace in the heart of the old town, perfectly preserved. Comfortable, clean, well-furnished, and quiet room. Lovely inner courtyard. Great attention and availability from the manager. Unfortunately, the breakfast service is missing.

In Palazzo Buonaccorsi Residenza d'Epoca, in the city center, carefully restored, with antique furniture. Very kind and helpful owners. Spacious and quiet room, small bathroom due to constraints imposed by the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, but complete. No TV (but personally I'm not interested). Functional and free WiFi.

I agree with the other two reviews that everything is okay. San Gimignano is a jewel, but the surroundings are no less. Spend a weekend and stay at Palazzo Buonaccorsi.

An experience to repeat, perhaps with the whole family or friends, that of a weekend in San Gimignano at Palazzo Buonaccorsi Residenza d'Epoca, where one can breathe the atmosphere of the ancient village in a historic building and enjoy the exquisite courtesy of the hosts, who are always available and sources of valuable information. In pochi minuti ci si può immergere nel cuore della campagna Toscana, con le splendide colline, nonchè il paesaggio stupendo di vigneti e uliveti del Chianti (e' possibile organizzare tour).

Da San Gimignano potete facilmente raggiungere anche Volterra, Siena, Firenze, Pisa, Lucca e tante altre località meritevoli di una visita.

Le camere sono situate al secondo piano della residenza, arredate con mobili in prevalenza originali. Sono ristrutturate nel rispetto della tradizione con pavimenti in cotto, soffitti a volta o con travi e travicelli. Tutte le stanze hanno ingresso indipendente con orario libero di rientro.

A disposizione degli ospiti c'e' una corte interna con tavolini e sedie per potersi riposare e rilassare all'aria aperta.

Accanto al nostro portone troverete un bar e un forno/pasticceria. Inoltre, nella stessa via si trovano anche: un tabacchino, un internet point, un negozio di alimentari e molti altri locali.
Numerosi ristoranti e pizzerie sono all'interno delle mure della città, vicinissimi alla nostra residenza.

La stazione ferroviaria e' a 15 km, comodamente servita da autobus.
La fermata dell'autobus e' a 50 metri (Porta San Matteo).
L'areoporto di Firenze dista 50 km.
