Wonderful location to visit Etna but I feel overall the property is a little neglected. Breakfast was particularly disappointing and my recommendation to the host is to make it a little more appealing. The host and team are very friendly and welcoming and the property certainly has a lot of charm but I feel the inside of the accommodation needs to be updated and given a little more attention. It felt like other than being cleaned after each visit, not much else is done with it.

Maria came to greet us upon our arrival and is very pleasant. Communication with Maria was easy and quick. The Glycines site is simply beautiful in the heart of nature, with an impressive and comfortable pool area. We stayed in the garden house with a view of Mount Etna. Ideally located: a starting point for our excursion to Etna after visiting Taormina and before our departure from Catania airport. We highly recommend staying at the Glycines !!!

A wonderful place, indescribably peaceful and surrounded by greenery and in the shadow of Mount Etna. Great also for families with children, as there is an agricultural farm with cows, horses, and other animals in the same area. Breakfast by the pool is also not common. Directions still need to be worked out, as my GPS didn't work and fortunately a very kind Italian from Piedimonte led us to our luck with his car. It's a shame that you have to drive to the nearest village for dinner and can't be served on foot across the street. However, this has nothing to do with the B&B.

The wisteria combines serenity and tradition. In the rooms, it is cool, for the hot climate a refreshment, like in the beautiful pool and the English lawn around.

We had a great time. The environment was super comfortable and heated despite the cold and the snow. The only downside was not having a TV in the room even though they have wi-fi, but a TV is absolutely necessary. The lady was very welcoming and super helpful. The place is very nice, especially in the breakfast area.

We stayed one night with two children. The property is immersed in greenery at the foot of Mount Etna with large outdoor spaces and the presence of some horses. Excellent cleanliness and the temperature of the room with the radiators on. Abundant breakfast. Room in antique style, the only flaws: - Absence of TV (however correctly indicated on the website); - Lighting of the room absolutely to be reviewed. With a kettle in the room and the possibility of preparing tea/herbal teas, the quality of services would certainly improve. Price slightly higher than the services offered.

It could have received the maximum score as it is located in a fairy-tale atmosphere, with kind staff and good cleanliness. However, the fact that being a bed and breakfast you have to charge for breakfast or a fee if you check in late takes away many points from a structure that, in my opinion, is wonderful.

Se invece viene prenotata una camera ad un prezzo inferiore o in offerta è probabile che sia senza colazione inclusa ovviamente e quindi in questo caso si paga a parte se si desidera. Quanto al check in, è gratuito fino alle 21: 00; dunque quasi tutto il giorno. Dopo si paga 20€ in più. Il fatto di essere un bed and breakfast non significa non poter avere regole base. La ringrazio comunque per la bellissima recensione. Grazie.

Very pleasant structure immersed in greenery and away from the summer heat of the coast. We chose this structure to visit the attractions of the area: Alcantara Gorges and excursions to Mount Etna. Not to be missed for those who wish to stay close to these locations and benefit from tranquility, lush nature, and fresh air. We also recommend it for the attention to detail and the style of the furnishings: ceramic tiles and lava stone from Etna, decorated with Sicilian majolica.

You enter a beautiful green oasis with the vegetation typical of this area at the foot of Mount Etna. Both Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa are quickly reachable. Comfortable rooms with furniture suitable for the environment; the TV is missing, probably by choice.

The structure is located in a suggestive context and is immersed in the green of a wonderful park where there are also horses. The place is very quiet, peaceful, and strategic as it is close to several places we wanted to visit, so the movements were very comfortable and short. The landlady was friendly, kind, and very helpful.

The Wisteria is a wonderful location between the sea and Etna, and not far from Taormina and other tourist locations, you are welcomed like family, pampered. The breakfast is varied and excellent, Maria Giovanna is very helpful, accommodating, and kind. I highly recommend The Wisteria and will return.

Beautiful property immersed in the greenery. Peace and tranquility reign supreme, ideal for those looking for relaxation away from the daily chaos. There is no TV in the rooms but it is not a negative point, on the contrary! Courteous and discreet staff.

Lovely place, super relaxing and suitable for families with young children. Very kind lady who met all our needs. Room with a view of Mount Etna that allowed us to enjoy the nighttime lava flow. Spectacular and highly recommended.

The B&B is located in a large and beautiful estate surrounded by greenery. We stayed in a room with a view of Mount Etna, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was served by the pool. The owners were courteous and helpful, giving us advice on restaurants and accommodating us with the breakfast time one morning when we had to leave early. Excellent solution for visiting the north side of Etna, good value for money.

Beautiful place, both for its location and for the care of the surrounding land and lovely rooms, perfect for excursions on Mount Etna yet only 20 minutes from the sea. The management is a bit too detached/formal, almost like a hotel rather than a bed and breakfast. As for breakfast, it is just sufficient regarding local products.

Wonderful stay at Il Glicine – an oasis of tranquility and hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay at Il Glicine. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed thanks to the warm hospitality of Maria and her family. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and are always ready with tips or assistance. The accommodation is located in a beautiful, quiet spot – ideal for completely relaxing. The pool is lovely and well-maintained, and our children had fun for hours. The garden is also spacious and safe, making the stay particularly child-friendly. The kitchen in our apartment was equipped with all the comforts, allowing us to cook when we felt like it. Everything was clean, well cared for, and decorated with an eye for detail. In short: an absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Sicily with a personal touch. We would love to come back!
