Cristina was wonderful! She was so helpful and even tried to contact me when my payment with American Express wasn't working but I never saw the message. She had no concerns about taking care of everything when I got there. Very helpful, friendly, and kind! The area is in a great spot where if you walk towards the middle it is busier but going behind it is less busy. Great area with great food nearby.

Very good reception, very well located apartment. Only downside, the noise generated by the bar under the window of the room until two in the morning. Too bad.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable! Cristina is the best host in the world! Very kind and gracious. She made our stay very nice. To our surprise, she had prepared a very delicious breakfast. I recommend this place 100%. Thank you, Cristina!

The structure is old and rundown. Our room had windows on a square, unfortunately the glass is not thick or double-glazed; therefore, we shared our stay with the guests of Venice who were feasting in the establishments below, with passersby or with those dragging their luggage, heating off. We used the only electric heater located in the bathroom (without bidet). Curtains non-existent and dirty. We always undressed in the dark. Packaged breakfast. The apartment is so rundown that we preferred to have breakfast outside. The property assistant, Mrs. Ester, is very rude.

Gentile Sig. Fiorini, dopo vent’anni che operiamo nel settore turistico dovremmo essere abituati anche alle recensioni negative, ma non riusciremo mai ad abituarci alla falsità e all’ignoranza. Sicuramente ci sono delle cose da migliorare e su cui stiamo lavorando ma immagino sappia che se la temperatura è alta il riscaldamento non attacca, e quindi non era spento, la colazione è confezionata perché questo impone la legge, ma voi comunque avete usufruito del servizio, Venezia è rumorosa perchè purtroppo tutto è studiato per voi turisti, l’appartamento non è assolutamente trasandato. Certamente non è un grand’hotel, infatti è un b&b altrimenti quello che avete pagato non vi sarebbe bastato neanche per una notte. Avete avuto le pulizi tutti i giorni e la cortesia di poter lasciare i bagagli il giorno della partenza. E per ultimo ma non meno importante, anzi la cosa più importante non è assolutamente accettabile esprimere giudizi non veritieri sulle persone che l’hanno accolta e aspettata, che le hanno dato informazioni e quant’altro.

The location is convenient, very close to everything. The furniture, especially the mattresses and pillows, need to be reviewed. There are many small damages scattered among the furnishings that make it look a bit shabby. There was also an absence of the managers, it was difficult to arrange payment in person with their fixed hours in the morning after 9:30 and no other availability. There were noises from the nightclubs below the windows and a constant ticking from the heating. It is a pity because the location is truly ideal. Perhaps not much can be done about the nightclubs, but something can be done about the furniture, at least the mattresses: it is truly outrageous that they are so old and worn out. It is really the minimum. I slept little and poorly.

Cristina is a friendly, helpful and attentive host to her guests. The property and rooms are cleaned and tidied daily; this makes the stay at the B&B Ca' Dor even more enjoyable. Lastly, but certainly not least, the building overlooks a quiet square, adjacent to the Santissimi Apostoli field, in the heart of Venice. If I were to return to this fascinating city, I will definitely stay again at the B&B Ca' Dor.
