Very friendly, attentive, and interested host, who even speaks English. Welcomed us with a plate of Pecorino, reserved for us at the restaurant, and conjured up a wonderful breakfast. Structure located in a small, quiet village, but a short distance from the Prati di Tivo and therefore suitable for excursions on the Gran Sasso. The manager is very kind and can recommend walks and climbs according to the guests' abilities and interests. The kitchen is also available for those who, like us, do not like to go out in the evening, however, unlike the rooms, it is not very well maintained: too much disorder and not very clean. If you want to cook, it should be noted that there are no grocery stores (not even a bakery) in the area within a short distance, so it is advisable to stock up in advance. We had a great time and do not rule out returning.

Gentile Giovanna, grazie mille x la sua recensione, per quanto riguarda la cucina purtroppo è piuttosto angusta e difficile da tenere in ordine ma questi sono gli spazi che ho a disposizione e in realtà tra gli interventi migliorativi dei locali che ho in mente di programmare, una nuova cucina é quello prioritario ma queste cose come è intuibile richiedono impegni personali dedizione, tempo e denaro. Spero di portare avanti le mie iniziative in maniera tale da rendere la mia struttura sempre più godibile e all'altezza delle aspettative dei miei ospiti. Grazie molte davvero per aver espresso in modo sincero e diretto i pregi e i difetti, cosa dei quali terrò conto. A presto Roberto

Magnificent weekend, beautiful little village with a splendid view over the valley in front of Gran Sasso. In fifteen minutes by car you can reach Prati di Tivo, a place where you are immersed in mountain nature. For any activity you want to practice, just ask Roberto, the owner of the property. As for the accommodation, we found excellent cleanliness in the room and bathroom. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, to please all palates. Greetings to Roberto, friendly and helpful, we will definitely come back!

A comfortable and well-kept house in a village that seems fake, at the foot of Gran Sasso. We stopped here after a long journey, before starting the mountain hike. Difficult to find better. Roberto is of a unique kindness and availability. He tries not to let you miss anything and knows those places like his jackets: he recommends the most appropriate itineraries with an enthusiasm that makes you want to stay an extra week. Casa molto bella e accogliente, in un grazioso paesino immerso nel verde. Pulizia impeccabile. Roberto è stato straordinario, ci ha accolte in modo affettuoso e ci ha consigliato al meglio riguardo ogni cosa (ristoranti, escursioni, etc). Torneremo sicuramente!

Non ero mai stato sul gran sasso prima d'ora, nonostante ami il trekking e la montagna. L'esperienza vissuta è stata magnifica sotto tutti i punti di vista, superfluo parlare della bellezza dei posti. Doveroso invece parlare della gentilezza e della cordialità del sig. Roberto, mai trovato un gestore tanto attento e disponibile, anche con mezzi propri, per soddisfare i clienti (la mattina della scalata al gran sasso mi avrebbe prestato la sua giacca a vento in quanto avevo dimenticato la mia a Roma!). La casa è grande, pulita e fornita di tutto il necessario per passare delle ferie nella comoda tranquillità di montagna. Colazione abbondantissima e varia. Nonostante centinaia di km di distanza vi sentirete come a casa. Grazie roberto, tornerò sicuramente per l'autunno!

Buongiorno, desidero esprimere tutta la mia gratitudine al signor Roberto, gestore de La Fontana, per la sua infinita gentilezza e disponibilità; ha atteso il nostro arrivo nonostante fossimo in forte ritardo, ci ha prenotato un ristorante che ci avrebbe permesso di cenare alle 22 (cosa abbastanza inusuale per quelle zone) ed ha prestato un paio di scarponcini da trekking a mio marito per la scalata al Gran Sasso del giorno dopo. La struttura è pulita, accogliente e dotata di tutti i comfort con coperte e biancheria a volontà in un contesto di assoluta tranquillità che caratterizza il paesino di Intermesoli. La colazione è stata abbondante con tanta scelta. Anche i nostri si sono trovati molto bene e torneremo sicuramente al B&B se dovessimo ritornare in quella zona.

L'unico svantaggio - non ci si può arrivare con i mezzi, soltanto con la macchina, ma questo svantaggio si è trasformato in un voto alto per il gestore, cui figlia ci ha dato gentilmente il passaggio lunghissimo. Roberto ci ha fornito pure le istruzioni dettagliate su come arrivare in autobus da Roma fino a Teramo. Per il resto un fine settimana da favola, tempo passato davanti al bellissimo termo-camino mentre pioveva, passeggiate in montagna quando si è schiarito, con la natura incontaminata, poni a piede libero nel paesino, camosci nel bosco, ottima cucina del posto al ristorantino vicino, colazione ricca, diversi tè, ottimo caffè, c'è una cucinina provvista di tutto e di più se uno vuole cucinare, una sala da pranzo con la roccia vera, molto suggestiva, su cui è stata costruita la casa.. Roberto molto orgoglioso e conoscente del territorio, e questo gli fa onore. Mille grazie ancora e spero di rivederci!

Il signor Roberto molto accogliente e disponibile, ci ha dato anche le indicazioni per il trekking al corno grande (bellissima camminata), insomma un weekend fuori porta al sapore di montagna eccezionale, la casa è proprio in un paesino di montagna fantastico che non mi sembrava vero di essere solo a 2h e 40 da casa:) torneremo sicuramente!

La struttura si trova all'interno di una piccola frazione di montagna, in un contesto rilassato, silenzioso, discreto e, nello stesso tempo, facile da raggiungere. L'arredamento della casa è datato ma mantenuto in maniera impeccabile tanto che, entrando, si ha la gradevole sensazione di essere tornati indietro di un paio di decenni. Abbiamo trovato la camera, il bagno e gli spazi comuni perfettamente ordinati e puliti. Colazione buona, abbondante e varia come scelta. Roberto, il gestore, è simpatico, disponibile ed affezionato alla sua terra, qualità indispensabili per lavorare seriamente nel turismo. Ha saputo darci tutte le dritte necessarie per la nostra escursione sul Gran Sasso e, in generale, ci ha fatto veramente toccare con mano la leggendaria ospitalità abruzzese. Consigliato a chi non cerca semplicemente un soggiorno ma un'esperienza completa fatta di natura e piacevoli rapporti umani. Torneremo sicuramente. Livio e Erika

Vorremmo ringraziare Roberto per la scrupolosa e calda ospitalità. La casa è in alcune parti forse un po' troppo rustica (mi riferisco alla taverna, ma è parte del fascino storico della casa) ma in generale bella, ha una storia interessantissima e si vede che il gestore ha un amore incredibile per le sue montagne e per la casa, e si vede. La zona non è lontana da Prati di Tivo ed è un'ottima base.

Ambiente accogliente dove trovi tutto quello che serve: una bella camera, un bagno pulito, un'ampia zona di ritrovo comune e l'uso cucina attrezzata. Il valore aggiunto è dato dal Signor Roberto, intermesolano d.o.c. innamorato di questi luoghi e di una cortesia e disponibilità che è raro incontrare. Veniteci e ci ritornerete, o almeno spererete di poterlo fare. Ugo.

Una bella casa in tradizionale stile montano, arredata in stile rustico, ben curata, molto pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario, in posizione strategica a soli 15 minuti da Prati di Tivo. Perfettamente gestita da Roberto, che ti accoglie con grande cortesia, mettendoti subito a tuo agio, come si fa quando torna a trovarci un vecchio amico. Veramente eccellente.
