Beautiful and very special place to stay for a few days. Beautiful room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Lovely garden with their own fruit and vegetables. The breakfast is Italian style (sweet), but plentiful and delicious, home-made jams, delicious home-baked cakes, fruit and yoghurt. The hosts are wonderful, friendly and helpful, making suggestions for things to see in the area. There are also a number of very good - and cheap - restaurants in the surrounding area.

We stayed for one night on our way back home. We were warmly welcomed by Grazia and she phoned restaurants for dinner for us, as we don't speak Italian. Although she doesn't speak English as fluently as she speaks Italian, Spanish, and French, communication worked very well by using English and our little knowledge of Italian and French. Unfortunately, we can't say anything about the landscape, as it was raining and the sight was very bad. But we would come back for the breakfast anyhow. It was really amazing with homemade bread, cakes, and jam.

My husband, my 8-month-old daughter, my mother, and I stayed at B&B Torre dei Magnani for three nights in early July. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Grazia and her family (Noemi, Matilde, Edo, Giuggiola the dog, Ettore the cat). Grazia was very helpful and immediately made us feel like we were part of a small community. She helped us with our baby and made a cot and high chair available. The building is just stunning, with old, thick stone walls, wooden shutters, a pleasant garden, and cozy furniture. All the rooms have hand-painted wall decorations and show exceptional attention to detail. Grazia kindly gave us indications about what to do in the area - there is plenty to keep you busy with! Her breakfasts were so scrumptious! She makes and bakes most of the food herself - homemade jams and marmalades, cakes, cookies, fruit juices, bread, etc. on display. Definitely way above any average B&B I have been to. It could not be any fresher or tastier. While we were there, she picked some cranberries from the bush in the garden and made a cranberry cheesecake for the morning after. Gluten-free options are also available, as well as a savory alternative (cured ham, eggs, or cheese). All in all, we had a great stay and cannot recommend Torre dei Magnani enough.

My husband and I had an unforgettable stay at this B&B, welcomed from the start with warmth and spontaneity by Matteo and Donatella. The view from the windows is truly spectacular: a well-kept garden that opens onto the surrounding greenery, with a wonderful tree in front of the room, a refuge for many little birds. I was even lucky enough to see and hear a woodpecker, a detail that made my awakening even more special. We stayed in a clean, spacious, tidy room with a private bathroom. Midway through our stay we found freshly laundered sheets and towels, a rare and much appreciated attention. Guests also have at their disposal a cozy common sitting room, perfect for a coffee or herbal tea break. Breakfast was simply delightful: plentiful, varied, from sweet to savory, with genuine products prepared with love by Donatella. It is impossible to forget the fruit salad with wild blackberries picked by them: a gesture that encapsulates all their passion and care for guests. Matteo and Donatella were not only perfect hosts but also valuable advisers on where to dine and how to reach Trebbia beaches ideal for our little dog. Excellent value for money. I recommend this B&B to anyone who needs to disconnect from routine and rediscover the warmth of home, even when far from home. Val Trebbia is a must for us from Piacenza, the most fascinating valley in the Province. The B&B Torre dei Magnani is immersed in a garden of perennial plants with relaxation areas from which to enjoy the view. The managers Matteo and Donatella have professionalism and attention to detail. Rich breakfast with both sweet and savory homemade and locally sourced products. The place I was looking for to immerse myself in nature within the comfort of the structure. I forgot the mascot, the sweet Sissi, an Italian hound, part of the hospitality, fond of the berries of one of the plants in the garden.

A place where you can feel good, in close contact with nature and in complete silence. Abundant, varied, and meticulously prepared breakfast, but above all genuine, prepared directly by the homeowners. Here, the homeowners are exceptional. Very spacious, quiet room, equipped with every comfort and a beautiful view over the garden and the valley. The young, dynamic, very kind managers are well-prepared with advice and tour routes in the surrounding areas. The structure has great charm with a delightful English garden. The abundant breakfast (with locally produced products expertly prepared in-house) on the terrace overlooking the hills and garden is worth the stay on its own. A perfect place to regenerate and be in harmony with nature. We will be back soon.

Beautiful property, very well maintained and nicely furnished. Despite the scorching heat, there was a pleasant coolness inside, not thanks to the air conditioning but simply due to the wide walls. The host, Grazia, was of a genuine kindness and availability, and then the super breakfast with all homemade products was truly special. Excellent indeed, I highly recommend it!

We stayed at the B&B Torre dei Magnani for a weekend coinciding with the Christmas markets in Grazzano Visconti and we had a great time. The structure, immersed in greenery even in winter, has its charm. Cozy rooms with a stunning stone wall, abundant and tasty breakfast served in a "cave" all in stone of rare beauty. And finally, Mrs. Grazia was very helpful in recommending places of interest and gastronomic itineraries, for which the markets took a back seat. Thank you for everything, our desire is to return in spring to appreciate the place in full bloom.

Of this family-run B&B, converted from a medieval watchtower, the photos of the rooms immediately captivated me. As I was planning a tour to discover the Piacenza area combining moments of relaxation with my partner, tourism, and gastronomic discoveries, the solution seemed very interesting to me right away. We were not disappointed! The property is close to Bobbio and Grazzano Visconti, to other castles and villages along the Trebbia River of which the landlady spoke highly of the landscapes. A delightful garden discreetly watched over by two friendly and sociable cats. The Teodolinda room is spacious, very well-furnished, with a small but functional en-suite bathroom complete with top-quality linen (even the bathrobe) and also the kitchen. Comfortable bed and everything very clean. The pellet stove did its job (it turns on by itself at 6.00 am, expect some noise). Breakfast in a room in the base of the watchtower (but if the season allows, there is plenty of space for outdoor breakfast), all prepared by hand by the landlady with natural products and great attention to ingredients and not exceeding with sugars. I emphasize the extreme kindness of the landlady both for the surprise floral extra that I had her prepare and for having gone out of her way with us in the search for a restaurant/agritourism both for Saturday evening and for Sunday lunch! We will definitely return!

What a stroke of luck to have met her on our way! It smells of roses, jasmine, and broom. It is reserved, yet convenient to go anywhere in Valtrebbia. Details cared for with love, delightful cats, and a smiling and chatty hostess who prepares bread with sourdough and other delights. The tower has walls of stone more than a meter thick that ensure sleeping in natural coolness even in summer. Truly pleasant.

Excellent welcome from the owner. Double room with a single bed for a child with wall frescoes heated. Authentic environments being a medieval watchtower. They have been renovated maintaining the authenticity of the environments especially in the breakfast room. Well-maintained structure in every aspect, both indoors and outdoors, with a beautiful garden; very quiet location and view over the Piacenza hills. Ideal for those who want to spend a few days in tranquility, away from the city chaos. Owners are very friendly yet non-invasive. Breakfast is also very good, entirely prepared by the owner of the property (cakes, jams, juices, cookies). Absolutely recommended.

Very nice place, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, very beautiful house with tastefully furnished rooms equipped with everything necessary, excellent breakfast with homemade and very special products, pleasant garden and very friendly and pleasant hosts. Definitely worth recommending and returning.

We stayed with my family on New Year's Eve, the place is beautiful and welcoming. Everything is prepared with taste and simplicity, from the room furnishings to the breakfast, in line with the rediscovery of local products and tradition.
