We chose this property as it was closest to the Virtus tennis club where we played tennis with friends. Situationally, it was perfect for us as it was within 5 minutes walking distance to our main objective of the tennis club. The property is also very close to a grocery shop, pharmacy and the bus stop. Sylvia explained the location of the "tourist places" and city center to us clearly marked on the map as well as directed us to the correct bus to take back to the train station. The house is very clean, and the breakfast snacks were plenty. Loved the coffee machine and the fact that there was a microwave made it much easier to make dinner as we are not big on eating out, although there were plenty of restaurants around.

We were in Bologna for the Vasco Rossi concert. The accommodation is in a green area in a quiet residential neighborhood, very convenient to the center and the stadium. The owner was very kind, family atmosphere, we had a great time.

My wife and I used the facility for the first time and we were very pleased. Not far from the center, but close enough to shops for every need. The lady who runs the place was very kind. Cleaning is done every day and everything needed for breakfast and snacks is replenished daily.

A dear English family came to visit me. Not having enough space for dad, mom, and two girls aged 9 and 13, I thought of Silvia's cozy apartment. I let her handle the arrival and departure since I wasn't in Bologna, and everything went wonderfully. The guests felt at home, even postponing the traditional city tour to relax in the fantastic garden overlooking the park. The time spent in the apartment was rejuvenating after tiring days in Rome, as they told me. When we parted ways, they were already thinking about the next visit, considering that on the next occasion the eldest daughter could come with her boyfriend. What can I say? Thank you Silvia!

Silvia was welcoming and helpful, the apartment maintains the furnishings and furnishings of a lived-in house with all the pros and cons that can be had. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, tengo a precisare che la normativa obbliga le strutture ricettive extralberghiere a fornire prodotti pre-confezionati, nel rispetto delle regole di igiene alimentare, trattandosi di strutture che non fanno servizio di ristorazione, non somministrano pasti e pertanto non sono autorizzate HACCP. (Anche se so che, purtroppo, ci sono strutture che contravvengono a queste regole e, di fatto, creano confusione in materia agli ospiti, a discapito di chi, invece, le rispetta)

Non so quali potessero essere le Vostre aspettative sulla “struttura” e la “colazione” oltre a quanto ben descritto e fedelmente mostrato online. Per quanto riguarda le pulizie, tengo a dire che sono state svolte regolarmente, con la particolare attenzione extra in caso di ospiti con animali e, nel Vostro caso, compatibilmente a quanto possibile in presenza dei Vostri due cani nell’alloggio durante il servizio quotidiano, che limitava ovviamente il raggio d’azione e il successivo mantenimento del livello di pulizia: -).

Of this B&B, the friendliness and the welcoming attitude of its kind and caring owner are particularly appreciated. I only stayed one night at this property but I had a very good time, the location is optimal, twenty minutes from the center on foot and 10 minutes from the stadium. In the morning, we took the bus to the station, the bus stop is always close to the house. The house is clean, equipped with everything necessary and Silvia is truly a beautiful and very kind person, very helpful, you can see that she does it with pleasure and with the desire to always meet new people. Two-room apartment with slightly dated but comfortable and clean furnishings. Also pleasant is the shaded little garden with usable sun loungers. Located in the Saragozza area, not exactly central, but convenient to reach by car. Good value for money.

Grazie per la gentile recensione. Rincresce un po' leggere punteggi ben al di sotto della media riconosciuta dai nostri ospiti in anni di attività. In particolare, vorrei specificare (soprattutto per chi leggerà sterilmente, senza poter contestualizzare) che il vostro giudizio sul rapporto qualità-prezzo così basso non può essere preso come riferimento, in quanto: siete rimasti una sola notte per dormire in occasione del concerto di Vasco Rossi allo stadio. La posizione strategica della nostra struttura (a soli 600 metri dallo stadio), l'enorme richiamo dell'evento (200.000 persone in 4 date),la presenza di pochissime e piccole strutture ricettive nella zona, e l'altissimo tasso di domanda hanno naturalmente fatto aumentare i prezzi delle strutture ricettive vicine, in media triplicandoli rispetto alle tariffe normali.... è chiaro che il prezzo che avete pagato non è assolutamente il nostro prezzo standard, ma l'ovvio risultato della legge di mercato domanda-offerta nei periodi di alta stagione / di picco delle richieste.

The apartment is well located, quiet and with a beautiful garden. It is close to a public park with a playground. We arrived when it was cold outside and the house was warm and welcoming. The beds are comfortable and there is a small library to read in the evening. Silvia is an impeccable host and responded to all our needs with courtesy and professionalism. The children immediately took a liking to her. She was able to give us excellent advice on things to do and see. The kitchen has everything you need and more, but if I had to change one thing I would add a microwave (there is an electric oven but the microwave would be more convenient).

I stayed the first month after moving with my two children and my two happy cats to have a small garden to roam. Coming back from work and sitting in the garden with a cup of tea and watching the sunset among the trees was a blessing, especially in a moment of great change and stress like that. My children also appreciated it, in addition to the cats. The proximity of a playground was providential. Silvia welcomed us with rare warmth and availability. We highly recommend it to those with children and pets.

The B&B Il Giardino nel Parco is an oasis of peace in the heart of a joyful and vibrant city, Bologna. I stayed with my dog Kimba for 2 days and this stay remains one of the best memories of my vacation in Italy. The garden of the property is beautiful and offers moments of relaxation. I was there in the middle of summer, so the shade of the trees, the flowers, and the chirping of the crickets offered me hours of absolute rest. I rented a large room with a separate living room and the environment was cool and pleasant, all very clean. Bologna city center is easily reachable by bus or on foot, but the neighborhood itself is already very nice. Silvia, the owner, is very courteous and attentive to all the guests' needs. I truly felt recharged in these short 2 days, I will definitely come back. Everything was perfect. Thank you, Silvia!

We had a great time, excellent location, clean and heated structure, even though breakfast was not included, Mrs. Silvia provided us with snacks, coffee, teas of various flavors, milk, and juices, really abundant. The owner is very kind, helpful, and very affectionate, to the point that we have taken this structure as a reference for future stays in Bologna (thank you Mrs. Silvia).

Apartment in a quiet area, along a side street of a connecting avenue to the historic center well served by public transport and easily accessible by bike. Very nice private garden enjoyable on a beautiful day. The apartment overlooks a large municipal park accessible on foot a few meters away, and can be easily seen from the kitchen. Good interiors, the kitchen is more than complete, the bathroom has a new shower box, the two spacious bedrooms have ample space for personal belongings and one has a beautiful view of S. Luca. Kind, helpful, clear and precise owner in communications. Also provided is an emergency number for night-time emergencies.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast managed perfectly by Mrs. Silvia, a wonderful person. We immediately felt at ease thanks to her courtesy and availability, superb cleanliness. Extremely comfortable rooms, carefully furnished down to the smallest details; you immediately feel a family atmosphere! Strategic location away from the chaos but in a few minutes you can reach the center of Bologna. The garden outside the room is also splendid, all fenced, where our little dog could run free without any danger. Highly recommended for both people and animals, we couldn't have found better. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Silvia, and hope to see you soon!

Structure located in a strategic place near the center of Bologna. Perfect welcome. Silvia is a wonderful person, a lover of animals, and very accommodating to guests' requests. The external garden is well maintained and suitable for children and animals. We had a good time. So much so that we decided to stay in our means one more day. I recommend it to everyone.

Great location, just outside the walls, very close to the center of Bologna, but at the same time away from the chaos. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and spacious. The rooms and the kitchen are equipped with all comforts. Silvia, the owner, was very welcoming, very kind, always available to answer all our requests and provide us with valuable information and suggestions. We spent a wonderful week and felt right at home.

Beautiful accommodation in a strategic location, comfortable, charming with its garden, a true richness of this place. The house is clearly above average! Some small details to improve, in our opinion: - the refrigerator is too small to support guests especially in the absence of a kitchen and in hot weather. - the breakfast, perhaps less abundant but with higher quality and less plastic. - the organization of tidying up both because daily cleaning is not expected in the accommodation (not having chosen a hotel) and for COVID prevention. But Silvia is so capable that we know she will make everything perfect right away.

Tengo però a precisare quanto segue, per maggior chiarezza, anche per chi leggerà senza aver ancora soggiornato qui: - l'alloggio dove avete soggiornato è classificato come "camera" e non come "appartamento", anche se, di fatto, offre agli ospiti 40 mq, e non solo una camera con bagno, ma anche una sala / soggiorno, quindi molto più spazio di una semplice camera.. per questo è definito "suite"; - la colazione non è prevista, la nostra struttura non somministra alcun pasto; come cortesia gratuita per gli ospiti di questo alloggio, viene fornito un kit colazione assortito composto da alimenti confezionati, nel rispetto delle normative regionali in materia di affittacamere e, ancor più a ragione, delle recenti normative anti-covid: è assolutamente vietato, nelle strutture ricettive extralberghiere, somministrare alimenti freschi o "preparati in casa".. è quindi impossibile, nel rispetto di tali normative, eliminare la plastica, anche se cerchiamo di limitarla il più possibile per il nostro caro ambiente; è facoltà degli ospiti scegliere se approfittare di quanto offerto gratuitamente per la colazione; - non essendo un appartamento, non ha cucina e gli accessori presenti in sala (macchina per il caffè, bollitore elettrico, microonde e frigo) sono una mera cortesia per gli ospiti e sono dedicati alla colazione con il kit offerto; - agli ospiti è data la possibilità di consumare cibi all'interno dell'alloggio (che gli stessi ospiti possono procurarsi da asporto in autonomia dall'esterno, utilizzando propri accessori usa e getta, sotto la propria responsabilità); - va da sè, che non trattandosi di un uso cucina, il frigorifero non è da cucina, ma ha le dimensioni utili a contenere quanto offerto gratuitamente per la colazione; - il riordino giornaliero è previsto dalla normativa regionale relativa agli affittacamere e viene svolto, in assenza degli ospiti, per garantire un'igiene costante, seguendo i protocolli sanitari in vigore; come esposto negli alloggi, è facoltà degli ospiti richiedere che non venga svolto; parimenti, in presenza di ospiti all'interno dell'alloggio durante gli orari dedicati a pulizie e riordini, il servizio non viene eseguito. Spero che ora sia tutto più chiaro. Purtroppo, il rispetto delle normative in materia turistico-ricettiva e sanitaria non va assolutamente di pari passo con l'ecologia e la riduzione di utilizzo della plastica. Credo che valuterò di non offrire più nulla come kit colazione gratuito, perché vedo che, nonostante sia ben scritto che la "colazione non è prevista", poi succede che gli ospiti vadano a valutare qualcosa che mettiamo a disposizione come extra gratuito, che, anzichè essere apprezzato, diventa un elemento da criticare.. peccato.

Ci rincresce leggere direttamente qui giudizi un po' "sottotono" rispetto alla media che ci viene riconosciuta abitualmente, ci sarebbe pertanto piaciuto avere prima un riscontro diretto da parte Vostra per capire cosa magari non avete apprezzato: visto il nostro costante impegno a fare del nostro meglio per i nostri ospiti, questo ci permette anche di mettere in relazione le recensioni rispetto a chi le lascia. Ci sembra opportuno ricordare che avete pagato poco più di 25 Euro a testa a notte, per due persone in un alloggio di 40 mq con giardino, con una piccola colazione di cortesia offerta gratuitamente (la colazione non è infatti prevista e inclusa) e, nel Vostro caso specifico, la disponibilità gratuita per il check-out tardivo in serata. Grazie comunque.

We had a great time at Il Giardino nel Parco. It's a very cute and welcoming place, with a beautiful garden. The structure is equipped with everything you need and more, attention to detail ensures a pleasant atmosphere and makes the stay very enjoyable. The apartment where we stayed was very clean, well protected from the street noises (which were few), with a wide view of a peaceful park. Furniture in excellent condition, kitchen very well equipped with all the accessories, as well as the bathroom. All appliances were present. Towels, sheets, and blankets in perfect condition. The managers were very friendly and available to help and advise those who do not know the city or have any problems. Within a short distance, there are public transport stops to easily move around the city. The only small downside is that the apartment is reached via a rather steep staircase, which could pose difficulties for people with reduced mobility. However, the overall experience remains excellent.

Short but really pleasant stay. Good structure, quiet, welcoming just a stone's throw from the bus stop to the center and every area of Bologna. The breakfast offers everything, from tea to yogurt, milk, coffee, croissants, etc. We recommend it for both business stays and weekends for two. Then Bologna is wonderful, it deserves to be visited.
