Pietreta farm is situated on a hill in an exceptionally beautiful location, under the Artistic and Natural Park of the Val d' Orcia.

The farm is a large stone house of 700 which was recently the subject of a meticulous and passionate restoration, preserving the architectural details.

A three-hectare park surrounding the house, which is a panoramic swimming pool with Roman steps (6x12m), olive grove, the parking, the lookout.

Podere Pietreta is the ideal starting point for short excursions (30 /60 minutes) to some of the most attractive resorts of Tuscany Radicofani, San Quirico d' Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Chiusi, Cetona, San Casciano dei Bagni, Arezzo, Siena...

In 20 minutes you are in the woods of Monte Amiata, Umbria is a half hour drive away.

The Val d'Orcia is also a valuable food and wine destination is located in the heart of the Chianti and Montepulciano DOCG, is the home of pici, meat from pasture, forest mushrooms and cheeses, result of competition between local traditions and the recent introduction of Sardinian sheep farming..

Another absolutely exceptional characteristic is the presence, not more than 30 minutes, with many spas of the most famous: the Baths of San Casciano, the pools of Sarteano, Bagni San Filippo, and the hydrothermal Chianciano etc.

Guests have access to 3 large apartments of different sizes, 2 lovely bedrooms and a beautiful detached house - also in stone - newly restored.

All apartments are characterized by good taste and warmth, are equipped with a fireplace and elegantly furnished with antique furniture.

The kitchens are hand- carved stone, the bedrooms are decorated with many small paintings made with antique lace or embroidery that belonged to the grandmother of the owners.

It has not neglected to provide the apartments with all the comforts: satellite TV, dishwasher, fridge - freezer, microwave, heating, hair dryer. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower.

In front of the entrance to each apartment has been given ample time exclusive, equipped with table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue, where guests can dine while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

For the exclusive use of guests of Pietreta, mountain bikes and a laundry room complete with all necessary equipment (washing machine, washing and drying, ironing board, steam iron etc..).

And ' active free internet wireless (WI - FI) and cable.

In order to preserve the tranquility of its guests Pietreta does not have a restaurant on property, but two of the best restaurants in the area (just 2 miles) offers its customers a full meal at Podere Pietreta card for 18 Euros, water and wine included.

Beautiful farmhouse located in a great spot to explore the Val d'Orcia. It is 2 kilometers from Radicofani, a delightful village. Friendly staff who are attentive to guests' needs. The rooms are very clean and equipped with all comforts, the breakfast is excellent and the common areas are very spacious. We will return in the summer to try the pool.

We stayed at Podere Pietreta during a short stay in Val d'Orcia. The apartment is equipped with all the comforts and offers the possibility to enjoy a beautiful swimming pool. Hospitality and services are excellent, I highly recommend it, especially for those who want to come into contact with nature.

Podere Pietreta is a spectacular place nestled in the hills of Siena, welcoming, very clean, and equipped with every comfort. From there you can reach numerous destinations, both of cultural and naturalistic interest. The silence and peace that surround it were a huge plus for me. The only issue encountered concerns the long dirt access road to reach it, very difficult due to stones and roughness. The owner is helpful and caring, ready to follow up on any question or request. I hope to return when I can also enjoy the pool, gardens, barbecue, and all the services designed for the summer season.

Beautiful place and very pleasant and discreet managers. To reach by car because there are no public transport that reach it. Attention the road is dirt and has many potholes... but then you arrive at Podere Pietreta and it's really worth it. The structure and the rooms are beautiful, the location and the view are stunning, relaxation guaranteed. A true recharge immersed in nature.

Podere Pietreta is easily reachable and is in a very convenient position to visit the beautiful surrounding villages. I have visited it several times in spring and summer, enjoying the beautiful pool and relaxing in the large garden with breathtaking views and sunsets. In autumn and winter, you can appreciate more the surrounding nature with the small villages that come alive with very interesting markets and initiatives. I highly recommend trying the delicious breakfast which is not only plentiful but also prepared with great care and variety of choices.

I stayed at the property for 2 nights with my friends for a relaxing weekend. The property was excellent, the cleanliness impeccable, and the breakfast delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to visit the thermal baths and quickly reach the nearest city. We could bring my friend's dog to the property without any issues.

Beautiful romantic weekend in a wonderful natural setting. Ideal for unwinding after weeks of intense work. The owners welcomed us wonderfully and were attentive and available to meet all our requests. The cleanliness of the premises is very well-kept and the environment comfortable. We were given the opportunity to use the fireplace in each apartment. We went to discover the landscape guided by the indications provided by the owners, discovering the beauties of Valdorcia. We will definitely come back, also taking advantage of longer vacation periods.

The stay at Podere Pietreta was wonderful. The apartment was comfortable and clean, furnished with antique furniture. We particularly appreciated the excellent breakfasts served directly in the room with homemade jams and pastries, different every day. Radicofani is a fantastic village, very characteristic, with great restaurants. Thermal baths a few minutes away. What can I say, we will definitely come back!

We had a great time at Podere Pietreta, in a very nice apartment, furnished with style and romantic. The cleanliness is excellent, the park and nature are beautiful. In summer when the pool is open it must be spectacular! But even in November, with the fireplace and chestnuts, the experience was beautiful. We felt very pampered.

Very peaceful place, at least during my stay (week of April 25), for those who want to completely 'disconnect'. Personally, I find it pleasant to drive several kilometers through the countryside to reach the various tourist destinations in the area; someone might find it a bit far, but it's a matter of taste.

Welcomed with great courtesy by Mrs. Pinuccia. Very kind, she explained everything to us. She brought us breakfast in the morning always smiling. In the midst of Val D'orcia, with a view that I wouldn't even know how to define. We had an apartment in the annex of Podere Pietreta where privacy reigns supreme. Outside the small apartment we had our own little personal garden where we could have breakfast outdoors. Definitely a place to return to.

Structure restored in an extremely accurate way in total respect of the surrounding environment. The rooms are very clean and detailed. Very nice that breakfast is brought to the room in a wicker basket by the caretaker who is an extremely kind and discreet person. Very courteous and precise the owner who managed the reservation.
