I recently stayed at the B&B Birba in Rome and had an amazing experience! The hotel is located about half an hour from the city center, but it’s easy to get there as there are bus and train stations nearby. Mr. Franco, the host, was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly sweet and provided perfect instructions on where to go, which bus or train to take and the best places to visit in Rome! Thank you so much for the excellent service (:

The only thing that is somewhat unpleasant about this B&B is that it is so far away from the city center of Rome. At least you can take the Metro which you have to walk for 15 minutes and reach the Colosseum within 30 minutes in total. I liked that one can eat something all day and that there is no set time for breakfast. Franco, the owner is really nice and takes great care to ensure everything is clean and fresh.

In a neighborhood that is otherwise somewhat unsettling, we discovered a haven of peace. Franco is a gem; he provided us with a lot of very practical information upon our arrival. He adapted without any problem to our late arrival and gave us a very warm and pleasant welcome! The room is perfect, large, clean, and comfortable. We can prepare food, which is a big plus. The subway is not very far, and the bus is just next door. The only negative point would be the neighborhood, which worried us upon our arrival, but we had no issues there. Thank you, Franco!

An excellent choice for those who want to spend a pleasant holiday in Rome. Very clean rooms with truly private bathrooms, original and carefully studied furniture, abundant and tailor-made breakfasts without time constraints, possibility to use the kitchen. Located a short distance from Jonio Metro station, in a residential area equipped with all services (supermarkets, covered market, etc.). Last but not least, the friendliness, cordiality, and availability of the owner, Franco. Economical! Highly recommended!

B&B Birba is reliable, comfortable, elegant, and perfectly located. Staying at B&B Birba feels like being at home, even if you don't find your dearest photo. The Trastevere area, a wonderful place, is just around the corner. To visit Rome's historic center, B&B Birba is perfectly positioned; in fact, the metro is easily accessible with a pleasant bus ride from the 'home'. I had a great experience and will definitely return to stay at B&B Birba. Excellent.
