We had a great stay! The room was beautiful with a stunning view. Very clean. A varied and tasty breakfast with a typical Salento pastry added every day. Our hosts were very kind, friendly, and helpful, and they go the extra mile for you as guests. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in beautiful Puglia.

I stayed in the week of Ferragosto. I really appreciated the terrace, as I booked the top level. In front of the facility there is a cliff where, with some attention, you can take a swim. This is something we did when we didn't feel like going around, given the crowds of those days. The breakfast was good and the managers were helpful. There was some noise from the passing vehicles on the street below, but I had no parking problems in the area. The price was perhaps a bit high, but that's the most expensive week. Overall, I am satisfied.

I stayed with my partner for a wonderful week in Salento. B&B Mare Verde is a green oasis with a tropical garden that allows for maximum autonomy and independence in movements. The room was very clean with daily towel changes and bi-weekly sheet changes: always everything in order and clean. Our room had a large terrace with sea view. The managers are very friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the area. The breakfast time is truly relaxing, with fresh fruit, sweet or savory options available upon request. Unfortunately, the buffet was missing due to Covid restrictions, but the service is still excellent. Well done, Monia! Parking in the adjacent street is convenient. To reach the center of Torre San Giovanni (about 1.5km away), a car is recommended, especially in the evening as the road does not have a sidewalk. The location is still convenient to easily reach any location in Salento.

The B&B Mare Verde is very beautiful, welcoming, and brand new, great location, in front of the sea and especially far from the chaotic center of Torre San Giovanni. To access the sea, you cross the road and find yourself on the easily accessible cliffs via a footbridge. Suitable for those who do not like the confusion of the nearby beaches. Excellent breakfast with cakes prepared by Mrs. Monia who provided us daily with valuable information on beaches and restaurants. Excellent cleanliness. Beautiful room, my husband and I had a sea view from which we admired beautiful sunsets. The garden is well-kept. Definitely a place to return to, if we ever take another vacation in that area. Highly recommended, a perfect 10.

The structure is located two kilometers from the center, facing the sea, quiet and with parking in the adjacent street always available. Exceptional and abundant breakfast with homemade cakes and fresh artisan croissants. Well-furnished rooms, sanitized and cleaned daily impeccably. Spacious areas, meticulously cared for garden and fabulous sea view (what a spectacle at sunset!). During your stay, you will be practically welcomed into the family by Monia and Raffaele, two kind and friendly people who do this job with heart. That Salento heart of which a small piece will remain inside you forever.

My boyfriend and I stayed at B&B Mare Verde last week. We found a quiet place, a modern building just outside the village and therefore close to many services. The rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning, fridge and above all, they are clean. The breakfast is delicious and served on the veranda in front of a very well-kept garden: you won't find so much greenery anywhere else in the area! The owners are extremely kind and helpful. It was our second time in Salento together and the location is strategic for the proximity (by car) to the most beautiful beaches. Highly recommended!

The structure is well maintained, welcoming and essential. In front there is a free beach with rocks while moving towards and beyond Torre San Giovanni there are wide sandy beaches. It is necessary to use the car even to go out in the center in the evening. Sonia and Raffaele welcomed us with a smile and professionalism, they suggested beaches and places always up to par.

The Ionian coast of Salento is already a splendid land in itself, but if you have the opportunity to spend a few days as guests of Raffaele and Monia, it will become unforgettable. We stayed for a week in this very beautiful and welcoming property just a few minutes drive from the beaches along the coast! I rated it 10 because the owners Monia and Raffaele are smart and kind people, it was like being at home. Very varied breakfast: Monia prepares excellent cakes every day, clean and fragrant rooms! They also have two adorable daughters. We will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone.

Excellent sea view location, exceptional family-run hospitality, impeccable cleanliness, abundant breakfast in the garden with homemade pastries directly from the very talented Mrs. Monia; maximum availability to provide information on how to best spend the holidays, places and beaches to see, restaurants to go to for a maximum culinary satisfaction; possibility of an excursion to the Leuca caves by boat organized directly by the legendary owner Raffaele who has a nautical license (including frisellata and grape juice). No negative side. Fantastic holiday result in the sign of tranquility in the wonderful Salento.

Since 2011, we spend at least one week a year in Salento and always in this B&B Mare Verde, enjoying the panoramic view of the coastline, the tranquility of the place, the beauty of the structure, and, above all, the cordial welcome of the managers. Monia prepares homemade cakes every day for breakfast, served in the garden amidst the white of the tent and the green of the garden, curated by Raffaele and adorned with beautiful decades-old plants. Socializing among guests is facilitated by the weekly dinner offered at a communal table, with local dishes and specialties prepared by the refined chef Raffaele and served by the very friendly Monia. Our appointment with Salento, unfortunately only annual, is unimaginable in a different structure and with other managers/friends. Highly recommended, in every period of the long Salento summer. Just returned from the stay in this welcoming and new B&B Mare Verde. The rooms were clean and the linen promptly changed every two days; the breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade sweets by the owner Monia, always very kind and helpful along with her husband Raffaele. Worth mentioning is the midweek dinner based on sea urchins (caught by Raffaele) offered to us by the managers of the establishment, which allowed us to spend a very pleasant evening with the other guests of the structure. Highly recommended!

Upon arriving near this B&B, you are immediately welcomed by the smile of the very kind landlady, Monia, who is caring and also willing to allow some bending of the rules (like bringing breakfast to your sweetheart's room). The structure is new and very well-kept. The rooms are comfortable, equipped with a very efficient air conditioner, which quickly brings a refreshing climate back into the room on hot days. The sea view is remarkable: those who love rocky beaches will immediately realize how fortunate they are to have chosen this B&B, which offers very close access to the sea. The location is incredibly strategic and convenient: halfway between Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca, you can reach any beach in Salento, whether rocky or sandy, in no time! The breakfast, accompanied every morning by a new dessert prepared by Monia, is doubly delightful when served in the quiet and well-kept courtyard-garden enriched with stunning palm trees.

Modern high-level structure very well-kept and in an excellent position to see all of Salento (beaches and cities). The managers are very caring, kind, available and manage to immediately get in tune with the guests to make you spend a relaxing holiday almost like in a family. Monia with her homemade desserts manages to brighten up each of our days from the first morning. Spacious rooms equipped with every comfort. Definitely recommended for couples and families.
