Relaxation, peace, silence and the sounds of nature. An oasis completely away from the chaos and a few km from many places of interest(thermal baths, villages, mountains and culture). Hosts were helpful and never intrusive. The Fiorentina and the tagliata were top in the area.

Typical Tuscan environment, with a fantastic panoramic view of the hills all around the village. Friendly and hospitable managers. Excellent value for money for the food offered at the establishment. The only inconvenience is the somewhat rough forest road of about 1.5 km that you have to travel to get there. Anyway, if I get the chance, I will gladly return.

A small paradise immersed in the splendid Tuscan countryside. As already mentioned in other reviews, the road to get there is rural, unpaved, but nothing impractical if done calmly, and it is definitely well worth it for the peace and absolute tranquility experienced at Podere Casano. The Quercia apartment is rustic, very spacious, and has everything you might need to live comfortably for a few days. Even a dishwasher! The bed is really comfortable and the linen is top-notch! The kindness and courtesy of the owners are truly admirable; they make you feel at home. Additionally, we dined for two evenings, and the cuisine is excellent. The Fiorentina grilled by Mauro is a must-try! 😍 The breakfast was only sweet, but with really good warm croissants and a good variety of cakes and biscuits, yogurt, and quality juices! The pool area is also beautiful, surrounded by greenery, and the fact that the guests present in the structure can never be “many,” as there are only 3 available apartments, allows for an experience of extreme tranquility and peace. Thank you for everything! 😊

First of all, a big thank you to Mauro and Carla, the owners and managers of the property, truly friendly, kind, and helpful. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. In the apartment: - practically new white linen (plus) and super clean - bed with a very comfortable mattress and perfect double pillows (which is not taken for granted...) - luxurious kitchen set complete with everything (including basic seasonings that are usually missing) - air conditioning absent but NOT NECESSARY, the location is always ventilated and very cool (we wore a sweatshirt in the evening) - bathroom products present and impeccable cleaning. The apartments are really very spacious and cool with new appliances (including a dishwasher....). For my habits, the microwave is missing, but one can easily do without it. Pool: perfect in terms of both temperature and water quality and also in terms of amenities (sunbeds/umbrellas). Common room for breakfast/lunch-dinner very welcoming and clean. Simple breakfast (croissant, cappuccino/coffee): adequate for the price because it also includes 1/2 mineral water. Quiet environment, in contact with nature (a few insects should be taken into account). The area is really unique (maybe because the Val d'Orcia is a spectacle!). The only small downside is the dirt road that is a bit long for someone like me who is used to city streets, but this guarantees the tranquility that is rarely experienced close to urban centers. Otherwise, a truly positive experience! Thank you.

The agriturismo is very nice and well-kept. Excellent value for money. We had dinner with high-quality products. The breakfast is rich and abundant but a bit too focused on packaged sweet products, more local products should be offered. Nevertheless, it remains a very good rating. Congratulations.

We spent two days in this splendid agriturismo during a trip to Val d'Orcia. It offers a spectacular panoramic view of 360°. It is an ideal place for those who want to relax and spend a few days in total freedom. You can also have dinner, by reservation, with an à la carte menu. Everything was very good and prices were reasonable (Florentine steak at the top). Mauro and Carla, the owners, are very friendly and approachable people. What can I say... we hope to come back to visit you on our next trip to Val d'Orcia or to spend a few days in total peace and serenity, since there is also a swimming pool. Long live the kittens! And thanks to Carla for taking care of them lovingly.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. We did not order breakfast, but it is available. The view is pleasant. The pool also looks nice, although it was too cold to use. The kitchen could have a few more utensils (small pots, bowls), but apart from that, it was great. The hosts are very friendly and available for any questions.

The property is located in the middle of so much greenery with a beautiful pool and is a fantastic place for those who want to relax and wake up in the morning with many fantastic rustlings of trees and little animals, it's splendid. The apartment "The Oak" is very spacious, clean and equipped with every comfort. Beautiful structure but not maintained very well. Nice room but there was a cobweb on the ceiling that could have been removed. All broken and dirty sunbeds in the pool. I recommend the manager to take better care of it because it has good potential. Friendly and kind hosts. The road to get to the farmhouse is really awful.

Come vede le rispondo solo oggi in data 23 Giugno 2024, ma non perchè non ho avuto tempo, perchè il tempo per rispondere a una recensione cosi si trova. Lei a faticato a trovare qualcosa che le potesse andare bene. Noi abbiamo continuato a fare il nostro lavoro con le nostre pulizie e senza cambiare le sdraie. Non trattiamo i clienti come se fossero di serie A ho di serie B, ma trattiamo tutti allo stesso modo. Noi abbiamo voluto aspettare a rispondere perche' volevamo che altri clienti rispondessero al posto nostro, e cosi è successo. Certo a tutti non può piacere la nostra struttura, ma a pochi ci sta va bene. Vede infatti io non mi lamento della voce Struttura, Pulizia (qui siamo in campagna non va bene che ci siano ragnatele ma ci sta anche se stiamo molto attenti), Colazione, Ma la voce Posizione che lei mi ha dato 3. Podere Casano è presente su google maps e la nostra posizione è ben segnata è lei che deve controllare al momento della prenotazione dove vuole andare io di certo non mi sposto per accontentare lei, questo casolare è qui dal 1700.

Beautiful Podere for those seeking peace and tranquility is the top! Isolated from everything and everyone, beautiful garden with pool, spacious plum apartment with all the comforts. Special mention for the dinner service they offer… the night before you order things and portions from a menu and they are really very good, the lady is really good both in cleaning and cooking. Nice location in the middle of the nature of the Val d'Orcia hills. The apartment is very beautiful and equipped with everything. Family-run; Mauro and Carla are exquisite people, very helpful and kind. We recommend stopping for dinner and trying the delicious pappardelle with wild boar sauce, a family recipe. The location of the property allows you to move quickly to reach the San Filippo thermal baths, Montepulciano, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, and many other places. Recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Just got back home today, I spent three fantastic days with my wife and two-year-old son at Agriturismo Podere Casano, a perfect, isolated and peaceful place, away from the hustle and bustle, with friendly hosts. We stayed in the apartment La Quercia, clean and fully equipped, nothing was missing. I dined several times at this agriturismo and I must compliment the preparation of these simple but excellent dishes. In the dining room, there is also an interesting children's play area, greatly appreciated by our little one. When night fell, the landscape in the moonlight was stunning. The only thing is that to reach the agriturismo, you have to take a slightly rough road, but that's okay, this agriturismo deserves it. Greetings to the hosts Carla and Mauro from me, my wife and the little one, thank you for everything. I can't wait to go back.

The perfect farmhouse for a stay in Val d'Orcia. Just a stone's throw away from many places of interest, such as the Terme or Montepulciano. Ideal for those who want to relax and spend a few days in total freedom. I stayed in the Susino apartment. Beautiful, comfortable, and clean. 10 out of 10 for the fireplace that welcomes you and makes you feel even more at home. The owners are super kind, nice, and helpful! We will definitely come back.

Cara Francesca se invece di fare i piccioncini in sala davanti a tutti gli altri clienti forse avrebbe Gradito anche la colazione. Posso capire gli adolescenti ma non 2 persone che superano i 40 anni di età Questo NO. Le persone mature lo fanno in privato. Esiste un dispositivo che le segnala la posizione che si chiama google maps, che segna l'esatta posizione. Noi ci siamo. Io il gestore consegno ancora le chiavi di persone, gli ho spiegato il funzionamento della struttura ed altro. Alla domanda: avete qualcosa da chiedere ? lei a risposto di no. Ora le faccio io una domanda. Cosa le dovevo fare? Per raggiungere un agriturismo bisogna percorrere un tratto di strada bianca, è la normalità. La prossima volta le consiglio di prenotare in un albergo magari di fronte alla stazione. Definizione di Agriturismo :Forma di turismo collegata in origine alla permanenza per un determinato periodo di tempo in aziende agricole, talvolta in cambio di una collaborazione ad attività stagionali dell'azienda stessa; oggi, turismo in strutture più piccole di veri e propri alberghi, ma con servizi analoghi, situate in località rurali particolarmente amene.

Incredible structure, located in a wonderful place, the owners make you feel at home. We had dinner there and it was a fantastic evening with sublime food. The only problem we encountered was reaching the structure in the last 3 km downhill on dirt road and since we were on motorcycles with rigid frames, we had some difficulty. However, it was worth it. The structure is located in the middle of nature, in fact to get there by car you have to drive on a dirt road for a few kilometers. It is certainly not central and in the evening, especially in bad weather, it is not recommended to go out as it is all dark (at least in autumn/winter) and near Agriturismo Podere Casano there is almost nothing. However, it is a well-maintained and large structure; it has various spacious and clean apartments. The owners were kind and available for anything. The buffet breakfast was plentiful as well as the two dinners we had. Good food. Thank you for the hospitality!

My family and I stayed for three nights and were overall very satisfied. The apartment was very spacious and clean, and equipped with all the comforts. I stayed during the bbday so the price was convenient. In any case, the Agriturismo Podere Casano is very beautiful, in a panoramic position on the surrounding hills, the renovation seems recent, the apartment "la Quercia" where we stayed is very large, equipped with what is needed. We heated with the wood fireplace, but if needed there is the hot air conditioning system and radiators. Mauro is kind, helpful, and discreet.

The structure is really beautiful and characteristic, in the ideal position to visit all the locations of Val d'Orcia. The manager is very skilled and extremely helpful. The cleanliness of the apartments is impeccable. Really good value for money. I can only recommend it.

Great for those who want to stay in peace. Without the noise and smog of the city. A bit out of the way from tourist centers except Radicofani, still worth it.

We booked this agriturismo somewhat by chance and we were pleasantly surprised. The structure is very beautiful, well-kept, and clean. The location is ideal for visiting everything we were interested in.

We stayed at this farmhouse for the April 25th holiday, the farmhouse is very beautiful, clean, and above all quiet for those who love to relax, to return in the summer as it also has a nice pool and is strategically located to visit some free thermal baths and the villages of Val D'Orcia, the managers are very friendly.

Very beautiful structure, immersed in the green hills and absolute silence. In the morning, you wake up to the chirping of birds. Surrounded by a beautiful lawn, equipped with a pool and plenty of space around to enjoy total relaxation in the summer. Our apartment was very nice: very spacious bedroom, new bathroom, living area with fireplace, TV, sofa, equipped kitchen. Breakfast is not provided, but knowing this in advance, just organize yourself as you have a kitchen available. The manager was very courteous and helpful. To reach the property, you have to take a stretch of dirt road; the location is very close to the town of Radicofani. The only small downside was the heating (or at least, we couldn't get it to work) and at times it was a bit chilly. In any case, the structure is highly recommended!
