Silvio is a very nice and helpful host, but he does unfortunately not speak much else than Italian. The property has many stairs, so do not go if you cannot handle them. A car is the best option, since you are a bit away from everything. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house.

Cannot fault this B&B. Beautiful place, stunning views of Etna. Very clean, owner Silvio cannot do enough for you. Silvio and his wife Alessandra are lovely people. They also have secure parking, which is a definite bonus. Would definitely recommend.

It is a wonderful place to stay. A real Palazzo, perfect! The owner Silvio and his wife are very friendly and helpful. They really want to make it a perfect stay for their guests - and they are successful! The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and Silvio helps with a lot of information. The place is perfect to explore Catania, Etna, Taormina and a lot of interesting places in the surrounding.

A charming building well decorated and scented. A very beautiful and flowered rooftop terrace with a very nice view. A small drawback for access to people with difficulties, which is through a beautiful but very narrow spiral staircase on the outside. \nI regret being accommodated on the ground floor, near the entrance and by the road, with a basic bathroom. It would be nice to have a wall shelf to place toiletries and facial lighting. \nHowever, the welcome was very friendly and informative.

Everything was perfect from the glass of limoncello offered on arrival, to the organization of the hike on Etna with a guide, to the choice of the room and top of the top breakfast on the terrace facing Etna. A big thank you to Silvio.

The place is far from everything and can only be reached by car. There is nothing to do on site. It is surrounded by beautiful lemon plantations but they are all fenced off and you cannot walk around them. The only place to walk is the small asphalt roads, without a sidewalk, where you have to be very careful of cars. The Stazzo seafront has no charm, a large band of rocks separates the road from the sea, so you cannot really get close to the sea. The seaside village has no interest. This address is perfect for a one or two night stay, just enough time to stop for a trek on Etna. We stayed there for a whole week, which is too long, as there is nothing to do on site, and you have to take the car even just to go out for dinner in a nice place (the village restaurants are mediocre). Breakfast is plentiful and served on a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of Etna. The only disappointment is that the hot drinks were not up to the quality of the place. We got them from this kind of "coffee machine", which only dispensed tasteless coffee and lukewarm water for tea. It was really a shame because apart from the drinks the breakfast was excellent. The bath towels, which were supposed to be changed twice a week, were not replaced. After 4 nights, my friend left her bath towel on the floor to have it changed. That same evening, we found the same dirty bath towel that had been left on the floor, hung back on the hook, over mine! Of course, we went to the owners to request fresh towels, and we received them, but isn't it shocking not to change a bath towel thrown on the floor, after 4 nights on site when the rules inform us that bath towels are changed twice a week? Given the rates of this B&B, this kind of problem should not arise.

Cela me fâche de répondre parce que je crois fermement au droit de chacun de pouvoir s'exprimer, mais tout doit être constructif et surtout réaliste. Comme vous le savez, nous vivons d’examens et de satisfaction du client, c’est la première chose à faire pour obtenir de bons résultats et examiner ceux qui l’ont précédé. Je pense que nous avons fait un travail remarquable. Les choses qùil écrit sont aussi douteuses que de remonter à des raisons d'insatisfaction qui peuvent aussi m'aider à faire mieux à l'avenir également parce que je suis le propriétaire et que je suis toujours avec mes clients pour les aider et leur donner une expérience, si quelque chose qui pourrait conduirait à un examen comme celui-ci, je l’aurais remarqué et au moins j’aurais essayé de faire quelque chose. Les raisons pour lesquelles je dis cela et je vous serais reconnaissant si vous pouviez me montrer, ainsi qu’à d’autres clients éventuels, le contraire, sont les suivantes. et ceci parce que je n'aime pas spéculer ou tricher et je n'en ai pas besoin. Je recherche l'expérience d'accueil, j'aime ce travail et je ne le fais pas pour de l'argent, Je suis disposé à faire d'autres comparaisons constructives si vous avez le temps et l'envie de le faire, mais j'espère que vous aurez une identification claire de votre réservation et du problème que vous avez trouvé qui justifie le mauvais jugement que vous nous avez donné. Superb house facing Mount Etna. The terrace where you have a rich breakfast is heavenly. Attentive owner and not stingy with information. Only small downside: it would be useful to specify that one of the rooms has a private bathroom but you have to cross a corridor to reach it.

At Palazzo Giovanni B&B you can breathe the scent of 'Sicilia'! Upon arrival at the palace we were greeted by Silvio, who promptly had us park the car in the reserved parking lot, very convenient and safe for those arriving by car. Silvio made us feel at home right away, helped us carry our luggage to the room and what can I say, as soon as we entered the palace door, we were overwhelmed by a fresh scent that left no doubt about the quality of cleanliness, which is excellent. Silvio illustrated all the comforts of the room (also equipped with a mini fridge, very useful especially in the summer), and waited for us on the magnificent terrace for a pleasant chat, also recommending itineraries for the following day, all accompanied by a very fresh shot of their own production limoncello. The next day we were treated to a hearty breakfast, from sweet to savory, with various local and homemade products, such as jams and honey; Silvio detailed the breakfast to us, welcoming us on the large terrace where you remain breathless, as looking ahead you have a wonderful view of the imposing Etna which, during our overnight stay, gave us a spectacle of nature. We are very happy to have been guests of Silvio, who cherishes this Palazzo as a little gem and takes care of every detail with precision. Communication, hospitality, and cleanliness reign supreme. Thank you Silvio for welcoming us as if we were at home and we hope to be able to come back to see you and be your guests!

Quiet location but ideal for all types of excursions, private parking, beautiful rooms, clean and excellent breakfast on the panoramic terrace.\n\nSilvio and his wife do their job with passion and attention to their guests. The advice on where to go, where to eat, where to park, what to see make the stay even more enjoyable. Great structure with a splendid view of Mount Etna and the sea. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. Having breakfast on the terrace during the summer is a real pleasure. The only downside is the inability to pay with credit/debit cards.
