We booked this accommodation because we were looking for a place near the Teatro Puccini so we could walk to the show and not have to worry about cars. The place is really convenient and we reached the theatre with a pleasant walk of about fifteen minutes. Our room was spotlessly clean, well furnished, a real gem. The owner was very kind and friendly. We really felt at home.

It was the first time that my husband and I decided to enjoy Giacomo Puccini's works. And where better than in his town,Torre del Lago? It was there that we pleasantly stayed at the Sapore di Mare property run by the Orlandi family. A wonderful family who welcomed us as if we were old friends. The room we chose was top-notch: cool all day and also at night; there was no need to turn on the air conditioner: it was cool by itself. Clean and pleasant to stay in. The lady,her husband and their son always did their best to make sure we lacked nothing: kind and attentive,they made us feel at home. In the morning a good breakfast on the ground floor was served to us by the son,always attentive and helpful. If we were to repeat the holiday dedicated to Puccini's music,we would not hesitate to book with the Orlandi family again.

Excellent structure, very convenient for reaching the lake, sea or Lucca (as we were there for Lucca Comics & Games). The manager is very kind and available. We stayed in the sea room. The cleanliness was impeccable, very comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. Recommended.

Excellent B&B, great location for the large open-air theater in Torre del Lago. The manager and his family were very kind. The breakfast is adequate for the B&B, nothing is missing, not even the homemade cake. Quiet room and excellent sleep quality.

Excellent location. Quiet area. The owners are very kind and friendly. Fair price. We will return. I gave an 8 to the structure because a disabled person would struggle to climb the stairs. I gave a 9 to the breakfast because the focaccias needed to be heated.

We stayed at this establishment to attend the opera. It is located just a few minutes' walk from the train station (absolutely no noise from trains) and only one kilometer from the theater of the Puccini Foundation. The owners are very kind and very helpful with advice on how to get around and for dinner. The establishment is very clean, with air conditioning in the room and the breakfast is very varied and abundant, including homemade cakes! Torre del Lago revolves around the events of Giacomo Puccini and the entire lakeside area is very well organized and clean. It is absolutely worth visiting while staying at Sapore di Mare.

Great welcome, always available to make you feel comfortable, room with a Sapore di Mare theme really beautiful, attention to detail. Varied breakfast and willingness to meet any requests. The structure is located in the center of the village and it is possible to reach the sea in a few minutes by car. We were offered maximum flexibility in terms of check-in/check-out times. Breakfast is prepared directly by the owner who offers delicious cakes. The 'marine' themed room is well cared for and very evocative.

If people make the difference, then the Orlandi family certainly knows how to do it. Lovely people, always available. The sea is a couple of km away but you can easily get there with their bikes. The very abundant breakfast is made of simple, not fancy, homemade but excellent quality things. The "Sapore di Mare" room decoration that I requested is very beautiful. We will come back!

Friendly managers, rooms with TV, working air conditioning, and clean bathroom with shower. Location in the village a bit far from the sea but with the bike or shuttle service, if you are not self-driving, you can reach the beach in a short time. I will definitely come back.

We spent one night at the B&B and we had a good time (I was traveling with my family). The room was clean and equipped with every comfort. The breakfast was average, nothing special. Very appreciable aspect was the courtesy of the managers, really nice. I rated the location of the structure poorly because we were by the sea, about 10 minutes by car, and I have no idea how long it takes to reach the center. Certainly, on foot, in about 15 minutes you can reach the lake, theater, and villa of Puccini. Maybe a bit expensive for just one night... , however, I will gladly return as soon as the opportunity arises!

Recommended structure for short stays in the Viareggio area. The owners were very kind and available at all times of the day, advising us on the best option for the stay and offering us a very rich breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade cakes, jams, and much more. The apartment is overall comfortable, as are the beds, and located in a quiet area of the city. Even our big dog was welcomed.

Sapore di Mare is a pleasant B&B, with excellent hospitality, clean rooms, and helpful owners. Perhaps the only flaw of this stay, and in fact I rated it 1, was the breakfast because it was included in the quote but upon arrival we were informed that we could not have it on site due to covid. The only advice I can give is to update the description on the portal that breakfast is not included during this period.

I stayed in August for a long period. The structure is new, recently renovated. The photos published on B&B are truthful. The cleanliness is excellent. The Orlandi family is courteous and hospitable. The breakfast offers both savory and sweet options; the homemade cakes are excellent. I will definitely return and I recommend it.

It is worth staying at Sapore di Mare even just to get to know the managers: a welcoming and genuinely kind family that immediately makes you feel at home. We only spent one night there, in the Casa Gialla apartment: located on 2 levels, it has a comfortable living room with kitchen on the lower floor, while the bedroom is upstairs. Clean and spacious, it is also ideal for longer stays. Honorable mention to the beautifully scented towels! We will come back, maybe on the occasion of the Viareggio Carnival, since the structure offers various agreements at that time.

I stayed with a friend for 3 days at the 'Sapore di Mare' facility. It is located in the center of Torre del Lago, a few kilometers from the marina, easily reachable by car or bike. The rooms are equipped with every comfort and the cleanliness upon arrival was impeccable. The real strength is the friendliness and correctness of the managers, who can make you feel at home. Even with our absurd waking hours, they never failed to provide us with something to eat and every time they stopped to exchange a few words with us without ever being intrusive. The quality-price ratio corresponds to a medium-high range B&B in peak season. Regarding cleaning, it is important to note that it is not done unless requested and this is clarified from the start. So, if you stay for long periods, just ask and they will surely not neglect it. However, being a B&B, you also have to keep your own spaces clean.

Excellent welcome, pleasant little apartment even though not suitable for people with motor disabilities as the bedroom and the toilet can only be reached by a spiral staircase, quite far from the sea (3 km) reachable by bus, on foot or by car, linen change was completely absent as well as house cleaning in 7 days. No payment receipt for the stay or the tourist tax, both paid by me.

For attending the Viareggio Carnival, the location is ideal, especially considering the price. Also interesting is the offer that includes tickets to the parade, so you can arrive in Viareggio comfortably without waiting in line at the ticket office. The room was located on the ground floor with a service and kitchenette. The premises were clean, the breakfast was abundant and full of homemade sweets. Only negative point: street parking.

I stayed for three nights to attend performances of the Puccini Festival. The structure is pleasant, the managers are caring and welcoming, eager to make guests feel good. Breakfast is rich in freshly made sweet and savory products, always new, abundant: many different cakes, focaccias, mini pizzas, breadsticks, for all tastes. Pleasant stay!

Excellent managers, very helpful. Upon our arrival there was a misunderstanding and our booked room was no longer available. They all worked hard to find us the best accommodation and in less than 10 minutes they gave us a mini apartment. Really welcoming. Excellent and abundant breakfast, the location is not the best for those who are not driving to go to the sea (it's almost 2 kilometers away).

I stayed from the 15th to the 17th of April, during the Easter break, in the 'Sapore di Mare' room. The welcome from the manager and his family was impeccable, they even prepared a customized breakfast for me as I am intolerant to gluten and lactose. The room is clean, spacious, and really feels like being at the beach. Very strategic location: 1 km from the lake, 1 km from the sea, and close to the centers of Lucca, Pisa, and Viareggio. I will gladly return.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with the friendliness that distinguishes the Tuscans. Recently renovated, the room is comfortable, clean, equipped with air conditioning, and the bathroom is large and clean. Everything is furnished with taste and cheerful colors, in a holiday spirit. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a holiday in Torre Del Lago.

Simone and his family are very kind both during the booking phase and during the stay. They made the B&B available exclusively for us since we were a large group. The property is clean, cozy, and quiet: the only noise comes from the church bells in front. The ground floor room has an en-suite bathroom and is characteristic in its decor. Starting the day with a breakfast like the one offered can only be the best way to begin: homemade pies, warm rice fritters, cheese, salami, milk, coffee both from the moka pot and with pods, juice, yogurt, puddings, water, and if something is missing just ask. If the weather allows, there is also a small courtyard to enjoy eating outside. The sea is ten minutes away by car.

Nice and original environment, we were four with two girls aged 2 and 6. Warm welcome, special treatment for the girls. Always very kind and helpful, everything very clean, more than excellent breakfast with warm focaccias and hot mini pizzas prepared by the manager on the spot. Excellent homemade pastries for breakfast, all of very high quality. Courtesy, cleanliness, and hospitality are the strong points. Thank you. Serena and the whole gang.
