I had an excellent stay at La Mimosa. Giovanna was a lovely host - we didn't share a common language, but the helpfulness and warmth was clear. Everything in the apartment was clean and everything functioned. The property is a short walk the other side of the main station from the touristy area. I loved this because it meant I could get a flavour of 'normal' Padua if I wanted - for example, there was a bustling restaurant frequented by locals a stone's throw from the property. Furthermore, despite there officially being no breakfast, the fridge and cupboards were stocked with basics which meant you needn't leave the house hungry or thirsty. I would recommend this to anyone who wanted cheap, functional, yet pleasant accommodation. Thank you Giovanna!

Excellent price/quality ratio. By far the best you can find in Padova. It is not so close to the city center (20-25 minutes walking) but close to the tram.

A very good place if you want to stay in Padua for a few nights, very clean, close to the train station and with a really nice owner.

Very clean and well-maintained apartment, very kind owner, discreet but present. Train station located 10 minutes on foot, tram 5 minutes, bus 3 minutes. We visited everything with cheap trains in Italy, Verona, Padua, Ferrara, Vicenza, Treviso, and of course Venice in less than half an hour and for less than 5€. In other words, everything is perfect. Everything perfect, ideal for visiting Padova. Central location, next to the train station, spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen. And the best: Giovanna. Charming, she is always attentive. Although breakfast is not included, there is everything you need and Giovanna even had the kindness to buy a specific breakfast for me. Without a doubt a 10.

Mrs. Giovanna is very kind; she always stays in touch to guide you on arrival and afterwards is very discreet. She lets you use the whole house and explains how to use everything, she offers breakfast and there is also a nice little balcony where you can have it on hotter days. The double room has an en-suite bathroom, very spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything needed and also a nice window overlooking Padua. The beds are high and comfortable, clean sheets, TV, large wardrobes and many drawers. There are no mosquito nets, but considering it is on the 3rd floor no insects entered. The house is full of books, antique furniture, very full of various objects but well kept and clean. The property is a 13-minute walk from the station and a 7-minute walk from the tram. Some buses also pass along the street below. Excellent location. Padua is beautiful! Thank you Mrs. Giovanna for this pleasant stay, see you next time!

Clean property. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to prepare meals. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It is a 15-minute walk from the station and 30 minutes from the city center. Mrs. Giovanna proved to be an excellent host, attentive and courteous. Available to guests, even though breakfast is not provided, there is everything needed to start the day with a decent Italian-style breakfast. Certainly, if we decide to return to the lovely city of Padua, we will choose this property again.

My partner and I stayed for a few days in this B&B. And we were impressed. The retro decor has its charm. The lady who manages the property is very polite and discreet. She is ready to help you if you ask her for something. I, for example, had an annoying stomach ache and asked her if she happened to have a Malox or something similar. Shortly after, I found a package of antacid at home. Very nice. The property has two spacious rooms. One with a private bathroom and shower and one with a shared bathroom. But actually, if not all the rooms are occupied, it is likely that you will only use the external bathroom. Everything is very clean. There is also a washing machine and dryer. The shared kitchen is equipped with everything. And what should not be underestimated, the essentials for a decent breakfast are provided: jam, biscuits, herbal teas and tea of your choice, and snacks. What can I say... I recommend it. And the area is well equipped with everything.

I felt very well. My room with bathroom and all areas of the house were very clean, welcoming, and functional. Giovanna was very welcoming and kind, also meeting my requests for the arrival time. The location is very convenient coming from the highway or by train, and close to visit the center of Padua. The house is quiet and family-like, with its own authentic personality. There is ample free parking available on the street in the area. Excellent value for money.

The house is located just outside the center, the train station is within walking distance and the main points of interest are easily accessible thanks to frequent buses and trams, also in the area there are minimarkets and pizzerias. The structure is very clean and the host Giovanna is kind and precise, moreover there is a kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare a quick breakfast.

Nice room in a cozy house, although unfortunately it was very hot and the air doesn't circulate well even with the windows open. Comfortable and equipped bathroom. Nothing to complain about, I enjoyed my stay and the area is full of restaurants and easily and quickly reachable from the city center, even if quite far out. Unfortunately, I couldn't fully enjoy the breakfast because I didn't understand how to light the stoves: I couldn't find matches or similar and/or there were no instructions.
