B&B L'Onda of Marina di Ragusa

In the heart of Marina di Ragusa, along the picturesque seafront, stands the B&B L'Onda, a villa overlooking the sea built in the 1970s, characterized by sinuous lines that evoke Gaudí's architecture. This property, reminiscent of a ship ready to sail towards new adventures, is immersed in the beauty of the Ibleo coastline, known for its golden beaches and crystal-clear sea.

The three rooms, each with an independent entrance and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, offer a warm and family-friendly welcome. Emanuela, along with her daughters Ghita and Maria, has chosen to share with their guests the love for this place that has enriched their summers for over forty years. Every morning, guests can wake up to the pleasant sound of the waves and enjoy a hearty breakfast on the terrace, surrounded by the fragrance of the sea and spectacular views.

The B&B represents an ideal base for exploring the coast and the historical treasures of Sicily. Just a few steps away are the fine sandy beaches and a pedestrian promenade leading to the new marina. The central location allows for easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops, making every stay comfortable and hassle-free.

The breakfasts, prepared with fresh and local ingredients, range from typical sweet treats to savory options, such as Ragusan cheeses and perfectly cooked eggs, all carefully crafted by the hostesses. This commitment to quality and hygiene, always present, is particularly appreciated in the spacious and bright areas of the villa.

The area's cultural wealth invites exploration of the baroque wonders of Ragusa Ibla, Modica, and Scicli, all easily reachable by car. The ancient Greek testimonies at Kaukana and Kamarina, along with the necropolises of Pantalica and Cava d’Ispica, tell a fascinating story that intertwines with the present.

L’Onda is not just a place to stay, but a corner of serenity and beauty, where every detail is designed to offer an authentic and memorable welcome, allowing visitors to pause from daily routines and immerse themselves in the magic of the Iblea Riviera.

Would highly recommend this B&B, very central and in front of the sea. Umbrellas and chairs are provided. It is also very clean. A wide selection of restaurants nearby.

Have you always dreamed of living in front of the sea? Here I could live my little dream. The focal point of the structure is the loving family that carefully takes care of your well-being. What I really appreciate is that every breakfast wish is taken into consideration (recommendation: Croissant with Ricotta/pistachio/orange jam, Maria's cake... Super tasty), beach 20m away, chairs and umbrella provided for free. What I still can't forget: the sound of waves. Many thanks to dear Maria and Rita! I will visit you again next summer :-) best decision in Marina di Ragusa. Greetings from a Sicilian in Germany.

The answer from the host:
Strategic location for those who want to visit the main points of interest or who seek total relaxation on the beach. Seafront property, clean, with an excellent breakfast. Maria and Ghita welcomed us, pampered us and made us feel at home. Highly recommended.

We stayed about ten days at this property: impeccable cleanliness, the two sisters who run the property are truly friendly and helpful, as is all the staff, ready to accommodate any request. Seafront property, very convenient access to the free and/or equipped beach and free use of their equipment. We will definitely return next year. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Everything was perfect, except for the cleaning lady who came to knock every morning at 8:45. Politely we would tell her that we were still inside, but she kept knocking to clean both the bedroom and the bathroom. I suggest door hangers with "Do Not Disturb". If I am on vacation, I should not necessarily feel like waking up at 8:30.

stayed from 08/06/2026 to 08/09/2026

The answer from the host:

Perfect property for a stay in Marina di Ragusa. Unbeatable location, right in front of the sea and a short walk from the center. The room was spacious and clean. The structure, which stands out thanks to its retro shape and style, overlooks the busy promenade of Marina di Ragusa and a splendid beach from which you can appreciate every detail of a colorful location. The owners Maria and Ghita are truly splendid and very kind. Their hospitality makes you feel at home. Room cleanliness I would say impeccable and a scent every time you come back to the room. For breakfast, Maria and Ghita manage to make you feel "embarrassed" by how much they can offer you. My wife and I were really pleased with so much kindness and availability. We will definitely come back.

Excellent location, with access just a few meters to the free beach, umbrella and chairs included in the price. I stayed with my wife in the first ten days of August 2021 in the Trinacria room, spacious and well furnished, comfortable, with a large terrace overlooking the sea, although communicating with other guests, so privacy is non-existent. In the bathroom there is a hardly visible step: be careful. The breakfast is excellent, in practice you can consume what you want, such is the choice available! The sisters Ghita and Maria, very well assisted by their husbands, make you feel at home as they are available 24 hours a day, very kind and thoughtful, precise and sunny... like the climate of Marina di Ragusa with its splendid sea embellished by a lively promenade, rich in attractions and restaurants, pastry shops, ice cream parlors, artisans. A very rewarding holiday. As for the costs of the structure, I believe they are a bit above average.
