We liked the agritourism style of the place with a new and clean apartment. Host (Italian nona) was super helpful and very sweet lady. Good distance from San Gimignano city, with bus stop right at the entrance to front garden of agritourism. Worth to spend our time in Tuscany for sure!

Situato ad un paio di minuti dalle mura della città, Podere Le Retine è in una posizione molto conveniente per visitare San Gimignano. La proprietà dispone di un posteggio coperto per le macchine e di un giardino, dove ci siamo goduti un'ottima colazione. La camera, che era pulitissima, dispone di tutto il neccessario, tra l'altro di una macchina per il caffè e di un piccolo frigorifero. Nothing less to be expected than a place like home. The keep is 2 km from San Gimignano, embedded in the countryside, yet groomed to perfection. The rooms are almost as lovely as the hosts, and furnished of every commodity. We had our mini fridge refilled every day with goods for breakfast, and got blessed with a bottle of 4yo Chianti on our desk. Highly recommended for a sweet and peaceful trip for couples.

Ultra schönes kleines Haus mit sehr netten Zimmern. Die Betreiber sind wirklich sehr bemüht, sprechen aber leider kein Englisch. Immersed in the Tuscan countryside, the center can also be reached on foot or by bus; or you can follow Roberto's advice on where to park a stone's throw from the center (we did so and had a great time. The welcome was very kind and the stay beyond our expectations: we were even offered a welcome bottle of Vernaccia, from vineyards near the B&B. Very abundant breakfast and top cleanliness and covered parking. We stayed only one night, but we will definitely return when we plan a longer visit to those magnificent places.

I stayed at this property for a short vacation and felt right at home. The room they assigned to me was perfect, cool and dry, excellently furnished, equipped with every comfort, large bathroom with a spectacular shower and a huge mirror. Impeccable cleanliness. Mini-bar daily restocked with everything (fruit juices, yogurt, cereals, water, etc.) and a bottle of wine offered upon arrival. Garden meticulously cared for with flowers everywhere and nice little tables to have breakfast in peace and absolute silence. The managers Roberto and Maria are exceptional people rarely encountered, always smiling, caring, and attentive to every need. Staying even just one night allowed us to appreciate all the qualities of this delightful place, very close to the town but already surrounded by the greenery of the surrounding countryside. Staying at the Roberto and his mother's property was an experience within the experience of the Via Francigena. We stayed at this property for 3 nights, in the quadruple room with a large and comfortable bathroom and organized kitchen. The breakfast was abundant (every morning what was consumed was replenished!) and self-managed. We were impressed by the cleanliness (the rooms were cleaned every morning) and the kindness of the host who surprised us with chocolates, a bottle of Chianti, and one morning an extra super breakfast! The farmhouse immersed in the countryside allows you to relax and reach beautiful Tuscan locations. Highly recommended! We hope to return soon!

A little table set for breakfast with sweet snacks (jams, chocolate spread, honey, butter, cereals, rusks, yogurt, and packaged croissants), and the coffee machine with various pods available. In the small fridge, various drinks such as mineral water bottles, fruit juices, and milk. The gift of a bottle of wine that was given to us was very much appreciated. The structure is impeccably maintained. The spacious and well-furnished room (in line with the context) is spotless and has everything you need, maybe even more! Roberto is incomparable: attentive, precise, accommodating, friendly, and nice. Available for anything, providing excellent directions on how to move around and where to go. Roberto, the manager, is very attentive. I had the room with exclusive use of the kitchen, including everything, really everything. The breakfast was abundant, with coffee, cappuccino, juices, croissants... everything was extremely clean (REALLY, not like certain reviews!). There are really no words to describe how well we were, the score of 10 is an understatement. 3 fabulous nights from all points of view. Very beautiful, well-kept, clean location, the apartment that was given to us always in order, top cleanliness and the attached kitchen provided with everything and more both in terms of utensils and for breakfast. Well connected even for those who want to go to San Gimignano by public transport or for a walk (about 2.5 km from San Gimignano). Every day everything necessary for breakfast was replenished, jams, rusks, juices, yogurt, water and everything else. Not to mention the welcome of Roberto and Maria, the owners who hosted us, the cordiality, the personal sympathy. A welcome thought, a local wine and chocolates on the bedside tables, seems little but it is not. We are really happy and will definitely return for next December and also breathe the Christmas atmosphere. Thank you so much Roberto and Maria.

Structure just outside the historic center of San Gimignano, reachable by car in just 5 minutes. Roberto and his mother were very kind, they didn't miss anything in the accommodation, and they gave us a bottle of local wine. Extremely clean and cozy room, quiet place to rest in peace and serenity. Varied and plentiful breakfast, really excellent value for money. Pity we only stayed 1 night. If I had to come back to the area, I would definitely stay here!

Very pleasant structure managed by exceptional people. Roberto and his family run this Bed and Breakfast like a little gem. When you arrive, you will immediately feel welcomed and well-loved. Abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento 5 giorni ed è stata un'esperienza molto bella. Pulizia eccellente, tranquillità in mezzo al verde ed infine, ma non meno importante, disponibilità e gentilezza da parte di Roberto e sua mamma Maria; ci hanno dato tantissime preziose informazioni su cosa visitare nei dintorni e dove mangiare. Graditissima la bottiglia di vino che ci hanno fatto trovare al nostro arrivo! Colazione abbondante, con tanta scelta e frigorifero rifornito di acqua e succhi di frutta e riempito ogni giorno. Bagno grande e molto bello. Posizione della struttura strategica in mezzo alla Toscana per visitare tantissimi posti (Siena, Volterra, Firenze, Val d'Orcia ecc). Lo consiglio assolutamente e spero di tornarci prima o poi.

Ottimo per chi vuole godere della tranquillità immerso nelle colline senesi in una struttura accogliente e tipica. Con tutta sincerità i gestori della struttura (madre e figlio) sono stati veramente eccellenti, gentili e generosi in tutto, in camera abbiamo trovato sul tavolino una bella bottiglia di vino di qualità del luogo con una camera bellissima completa di un bagno a dir poco meraviglioso, intorno alla struttura un verde immenso con una pace paradisiaca, per non dire che avevamo un frigo pieno di tutto e appena è passata una notte lo hanno di nuovo riempito, avevamo sia la macchina del caffè con le sue relative capsule e anche quella per fare il cappuccino (molto facili da usare) quando siamo andati via ci hanno dato anche molte cose che loro producono, ci mancherà tanto quel luogo e loro due, spero tanto che il prossimo anno ci possiamo andare e stare anche una settimana.

Viviana Maspoli Vincenzo Steria Abbiamo appena lasciato il Podere Le Retine e già ci manca! La struttura è quanto di meglio si possa trovare, immersa nel verde, a 2 passi dal centro di San Gimignano. L'appartamento nel quale abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti è molto bello, pulitissimo, arredato nei minimi dettagli e curatissimo. L attenzione per l'ospite la fa da padrone, al nostro arrivo nell'appartamento abbiamo trovato ad attenderci una bottiglia di vino, le ciabattine e le caramelle sui comodini! L'appartamento è dotato di aria condizionata, televisione in camera e in cucina, di un bagno molto spazioso e del posto per parcheggiare l auto o come nel nostro caso per la moto, tutti i giorni inoltre i proprietari ci hanno fatto trovare tutto il necessario per fare la colazione! Roberto e sua mamma, la signora Maria, ci hanno dato ottimo consigli per dove andare a mangiare e cosa visitare nei dintorni. Davvero due persone la cui gentilezza è disarmante e sa di altri tempi e con le quali siamo contenti di aver trascorso del tempo. Grazie di cuore per tutto. Se ci sarà l occasione di tornare in Toscana ritorneremo sicuramente qui. Lo consigliamo a tutti!

Posto fantastico! Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura solo una notte ma non avrei più voluto andarmene. Un posto dove sentirsi a casa. Le camere sono spaziose, deliziose, pulitissime e dotate di ogni comfort (frigo Bar rifornito di tutto il necessario, macchina per il caffè, bollitore, aria condizionata, biancheria per il bagno compresa di ciabattine). Anche il bagno é molto spazioso e curato in ogni dettaglio. Roberto e la signora Maria sono due persone straordinarie. Da subito ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa nostra. Persone gentili, alla mano e sempre pronti a dare consigli per ogni necessità. Sicuramente ci torneremo!

Podere tenuto in maniera impeccabile. Un oasi di pace a soli 2 km dal centro di San Gimignano, raggiungibile con piacevole passeggiata. Camera spaziosa e pulitissima. Presente tutto l’indispensabile per una buona colazione da poter fare in camera. I proprietari, Roberto e la mamma Maria sono due persone speciali. Semplici e gentilissime. Sempre a disposizione per eventuali necessità e consigli. Ogni giorno ci lasciavano caramelle e cioccolatini in camera. In camera presenti kit da bagno, asciugamani di varie misure, phon e ciabattine. Insomma tutto più che positivo. Volendo migliorare ulteriormente il comfort si potrebbe aggiungere un piccolo frigo in camera per tenere qualcosa di fresco (yogurt/frutta).

Grazie all'ospitalità e gentilezza di Roberto e Maria ho passato con mia sorella una meravigliosa giornata. Il luogo è incantevole, immerso nella campagna a due passi da San Gimignano e comunque una buona base per visitare altri importanti borghi toscani. Il B&B è pulito e molto curato con un ampio giardino ideale per fare colazione la mattina, passare momenti di relax o lavorare se siete persone come me che si portano il computer dietro. La camera è molto accogliente, arredata con gusto e fornita di tutto e di più. Il prezzo è basso per in trattamento e servizio offerti. Peccato esserci rimaste una sola notte! Torneremo sicuramente non solo per il posto ma anche perché ci siamo affezionate a Roberto e Maria.

Il B&B è situato in un luogo incantevole, vicino al centro storico di San Gimignano, che è dunque facilmente raggiungibile. Le camere dell'edificio tipicamente toscano sono arredate con gusto e rispecchiano l'atmosfera calma del paesaggio suggestivo; inoltre sono ben pulite e curate. I clienti sono accolti calorosamente dai due gestori (Roberto e la signora Maria, la mamma), gentili, disponibili e attenti nel far sentire i clienti a proprio agio. Un'esperienza piacevolissima. Che dire? Peccato che siamo stati solo una notte. Bello lo spazio esterno (tanto verde), camera pulita e arredata in modo davvero grazioso, bagno ampio. Colazione fai da te ma con tutto il necessario e con un rilassante e piacevole spazio esterno in cui, volendo, poterla consumare. Gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari. Posizione strategica rispetto a San Gimignano con possibilità di usufruire del bus per arrivare alla cittadina (fermata praticamente di fronte al podere). Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Bella esperienza.

Tante belle recensioni sono meritate: constatato personalmente! Siamo stati in questa graziosissima Casa Vacanze per 4 notti e già ci manca tantissimo! La struttura meriterebbe giudizi oltre il 10, per tutto: gentilezza, disponibilità e discrezione, estreme e sincere; pulizia e cura dei particolari; posizione strategica, vicinissima al rinomatissimo borgo ma immersa nella campagna; il prezzo è sicuramente basso rispetto a ciò che offre. Non mi dilungo sulle meraviglie, tra piccoli stupendi borghi e città più note, visitabili nelle vicinanze: Poggibonsi, Monteriggioni, Volterra, Colle Val d'Elsa, Certaldo, Siena solo per citarne alcuni fra quelli visitati. Sono luoghi che "consentono" un'altra dimensione: un "salto" nella storia e nelle tradizioni insieme ad una vicinanza alla natura e ad i suoi profumi. Ancora una nota particolare ai gestori, Roberto e la sua mamma: persone semplici e squisite, per i quali sei un ospite prima ancora che un cliente. Bravi bravi bravi! Struttura bellissima, sia all'interno che all'esterno, posto strategico, in quanto vicino a molti paesi caratteristici da visitare (Monteriggioni, Certaldo, colle Val d'Elsa ecc.) ma soprattutto gentilezza, cortesia e tantissima disponibilità in tutto e per tutto da parte di Roberto e della signora Maria pronti ad ogni richiesta. Siamo stati in questa struttura il ponte del 1°maggio 2018. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Camera molto ampia, bagno molto grande e pulitissimo. Tutto l'ambiente è curatissimo, grande attenzione a tutti i particolari, nulla è trascurato. La signora è molto simpatica e molto disponibile. Siamo stati solo una notte in questo splendido B&B ma ci siamo subito sentiti a casa grazie all'accoglienza e alle calorose attenzioni dei proprietari! Una tipica casa in una appartata e carina borgata di San Gimignano, con splendida vista sul paesaggio collinare. Un posto che mi "garba" molto, in mezzo al verde tra olivi e viti, molto rilassante, una passeggiata per arrivare al centro di San Gimignano senza fatica, gustando la vista la mente e il cuore con il bel panorama le colline davanti e il le torri del centro. L'accoglienza e la simpatia di Maria e Roberto ha riempito la settimana della ns. vacanza, sono stati molto utili anche con informazioni per visitare altri luoghi vicini, Siena, Volterra e altro. Che dire..Posizione strategica per visitare mezza toscana, pulizia eccellente, casetta bellissima, appartata quanto basta con la possibilità di uso cucina ed un gradevolissimo giardino. Il gestore Roberto con la simpatica mamma è di una gentilezza e discrezione davvero unica. Ci hanno fatto trovare un gradito omaggio proveniente dalla loro tenuta e, udite udite, la sera di ferragosto ci ha preparato un apericena degno dei migliori locali. Al mattino al nostro bambino ha dato una borsa di fichi ed uva per il viaggio. E quindi dovremo per forza tornare.

Abbiamo scelto questo B&B un po' per caso come tappa per una sola notte durante una vacanza on the road con la moto. Immerso nel cuore di San Gimignano percorriamo un breve sentiero sterrato e non appena arrivati siamo stati accolti da Roberto, simpaticissimo e cordiale proprietario e successivamente dalla cara Maria. Ci hanno messo subito a nostro agio e dato tantissime informazioni sul paese. Il podere è poco fuori dalla cittadella, in una zona tranquilla immersa fra ulivi e vigneti a due passi dalla piscina comunale. La nostra camera situata al Piano Primo era molto graziosa, pulita, ben arieggiata, munita di condizionatore e dotata di ottimi servizi. Il panorama circostante e anche il bel giardino a disposizione degli ospiti con poltroncine e lettini. Lunghe chiacchierate e piacevole ospitalità. Ringraziamo ancora Roberto e la mamma Maria per l'accoglienza e peccato per il poco tempo passato in quella meravigliosa oasi di tranquillità!Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Daniele e Roberta.

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo scelto questo B&B un po' per caso come tappa per una sola notte durante una vacanza in Toscana. Che dire, siamo stati accolti come due di famiglia sia da Roberto che dalla cara Maria! Ci hanno messo subito a nostro agio e dato tantissime informazioni sulla zona. Abbiamo avuto anche potuto apprezzare i prodotti della zona in un aperi-cena (più cena che aperitivo) gentilmente offerto dai padroni di casa per festeggiare con gli altri ospiti ferragosto, sono stati davvero bravi a rendere la serata davvero piacevolissima! Il podere è poco fuori dalla cittadella, in una zona tranquilla immersa fra ulivi e vigneti. La nostra camera era molto carina, pulita, ben arieggiata e con un bagno molto grande e attrezzato. Dalle finestre si poteva ammirare il panorama circostante e anche il bel giardino a disposizione degli ospiti con poltroncine e lettini. Ringraziamo ancora Roberto e la mamma Maria per il tempo passato li con loro in quel meraviglioso angolo di paradiso! Se passeremo ancora nei paraggi ci fermeremo sicuramente più che volentieri! Ottima posizione per visitare San Gimignano e i dintorni. Ottima accoglienza: la signora Maria e suo figlio Roberto ti fanno sentire a casa. Piacevole vacanza di quattro giorni, per Pasqua, in famiglia. Fine settimana con amici per concludere le vacanze natalizie. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare nel Podere Le Retine un angolo tranquillo vicinissimo a San Gimignano. Cortesia ed ospitalità da parte della signora Maria e del figlio Roberto, persone molto disponibili a consigliare giri turistici e posticini in cui assaporare la cucina tipica toscana. Camere organizzate anche per la colazione ed il tè del pomeriggio, che con la temperatura sotto lo zero del periodo è stata una gradevole pausa per ricaricarsi. Ringraziamo ancora dell’ospitalità e garantiamo il ritorno in un periodo più caldo per godere anche dell’esterno della struttura, magari organizzando una grigliata.

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo trascorso il Capodanno 2016 alloggiando al podere Le Retine. La gentilezza e l'accoglienza della signora Maria e del figlio Roberto sono state ottime. La location è perfetta, immersa tra i colli, mettersi in carreggiata ogni mattina e avere di fronte il bellissimo paesaggio di San Gimignano ci faceva iniziare piacevolmente la giornata. Come avevo detto al proprietario Roberto ritornerei volentieri da quelle parti e alloggerei nuovamente da loro molto volentieri. Per me è stato ottimo.

Abbiamo avuto un'accoglienza ottima: al nostro arrivo Roberto ci ha fatto trovare in camera una bottiglia di ottimo vino e un dolce tradizionale tipico del periodo (pane dei santi). Siamo capitati nel podere durante la raccolta delle olive, Roberto e suo fratello sono stati molto disponibili a mostrarci come avveniva la raccolta e a raccontarci in ogni dettaglio il processo di lavorazione delle olive. Roberto ci ha dato anche indicazioni utilissime su dove parcheggiare, dove mangiare e cosa visitare a San Gimignano e dintorni. Consigliamo caldamente il podere Le Retine per la gentilezza dei proprietari e per la sua posizione strategica, vicinissimo a san Gimignano ma in una zona verde di tipica campagna toscana. Ci sono B&B e ci sono B&B. La signora Maria e Roberto vi accoglieranno in questo spicchio di Toscana con la cordialità e la gentilezza che forse si poteva vedere solo un tempo, quando i pellegrini percorrevano la via Franchigena (che passa rasente il loro podere). A due chilometri da San Gimignano, non fatevi mancare una passeggiata al tramonto per vedere le sue torri, si trova finalmente un letto comodo, aria condizionata e una splendida accoglienza e, forse se siete abbastanza simpatici, Roberto vi ricompenserà con qualche prodotto del suo orto e del suo frutteto..E allora non ci sarà più storia.

Scrivo questa recensione per conto dei miei genitori che hanno avuto occasione di soggiornare 3 notti in questa graziosa Casa Vacanze situata nella campagna di San Gimignano durante la loro visita in Toscana. La struttura si presentava in maniera accogliente e caratteristica, la signora Maria è stata sin da subito estremamente cordiale nei loro confronti e sempre disponibile ad esaudire tutte le loro richieste. La pulizia della camera era impeccabile, biancheria profumatissima e ottima qualità/prezzo della struttura. Nelle immediate vicinanze è presente un complesso di piscine e campi da calcio/tennis che si può raggiungere a piedi. Inoltre anche la bellissima San Gimignano è a soli 2 km di camminata. Ottimo per passare una vacanza di arte, cultura, buona cucina e sport.

Ho soggiornato insieme a mio ragazzo presso questa struttura e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Posto bellissimo, camera e bagno veramente molto pulite..tutto molto curato. Siamo stati accolti da persone molto disponibili e gentili. La signora molto simpatica ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Lo consiglio a tutti visto anche il rapporto qualità prezzo!

Sono appena tornato da una vacanza di tre giorni nella bellissima e spettacolare san gimignano!Ho soggiornato nella struttura "le retine" e sono rimasto favorevolmente colpito dalla pulizia e dalla tipicita' della struttura stessa! Posizione stupenda immersa nel verde dell'olivi e nello stesso tempo ad un passo a piedi da san Gimignano! Pulizia eccellente ma sopratutto la simpatia della gestione famigliare che ti fa sentire subito a proprio agio! Per chi vuole assaporare la bellezza della campagna toscana questa e la scelta migliore! Consigliatissssima!

Stiamo già pensando a quando possiamo tornarci perché siamo stati benissimo! Prima di tutto Roberto e la mamma ti accolgono a braccia aperte e sono gentilissimi, disponibilissimi e generosi, il podere è molto bello e circondato da uliveti e vigneti e c'è una pace che è impossibile non rilassarsi, la camera è bella e comoda, San Gimignano è a due passi..Se state pensando ad una vacanza in quella zona ve lo straconsigliamo!

Una piacevolissima scoperta. Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato solamente una notte in questo bed and breakfast. Il gestore della struttura, il Signor Roberto assieme alla Sua mamma sono persone estremamente cortesi e disponobili. Camera pulita, bagno spazioso e pulito. Il Bad and breakfast è situato all'interno di un podere con ulivi e vigneti in cui regna una piacevole tranquillità. In ultimo è non da meno il rapporto qualità -prezzo è ottimo.

Siamo stati ospiti io e mia moglie al Podere Le Retine per il ponte del 25 aprile. Distante appena 1,5 km dal centro di san Gimignano, ma in aperta campagna, la location della struttura è notevole, cosi come l'ospitalità e la camera. Pulizia, cortesia, disponibilità massima, atmosfera assolutamente familiare e gradevole. La consigliamo caldamente a tutti e già l'abbiamo consigliata a parenti ed amici. Contiamo di tornarci quanto prima questa estate per gustarci le serate nello splendido scenario che offre il giardino della struttura con tanto di lettini e sdraio per rilassarsi. Rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile! W il Podere Le Retine!

Roberto ci ha accolti con un sorriso e tanta gentilezza. Siamo stati molto bene nel suo B&B e ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni per goderci appieno S. Gimignano. La camera è semplice, ma dotata di ogni comfort, pulita e accogliente. Unica nota: colazione da migliorare.

Struttura eccezionale siamo stati benissimo..i proprietari molto gentili, la stanza accogliente e pulita. La struttura è posta in una zona panoramica è molto vicina al centro di San Gimignano raggiungibile anche a piedi. Sicuramente se torneremo nella zona pernotteremo di nuovo qui.

Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo! Ciò che conta ancora di più però è l'esperienza positiva di un soggiorno in un ambiente accogliente e silenzioso al tempo stesso, immerso nella vera campagna toscana ma a pochissima distanza dal centro di San Gimignano. La cortesia e l'ospitalità dei proprietari e la bellezza della stanza completano il quadro di un soggiorno perfetto. Peccato solo non esserci potuti fermare di più (ma sarà un buon motivo per ritornare!).
