Belle Arti B&B is located in the heart of the picturesque San Tomaso district, a historic corner of Bergamo rich in art and culture. Situated on the second floor of an ancient residence, the bed and breakfast is just a few steps from the Carrara Academy of Fine Arts, the Modern Art Gallery, and numerous antique shops. In this charming setting, guests can also discover the evocative Oratory of San Lupo and the Bernareggi Museum, which further enrich the cultural offerings of the neighborhood.

The recent renovation of Belle Arti B&B has managed to enhance the ancient characteristics of the building, using fine materials such as wood and marble to create a comfortable and welcoming environment. The three tastefully furnished rooms, equipped with private bathrooms, are illuminated by large windows that invite natural light in, while the common reception area adds an extra touch of hospitality. Care for the comfort of visitors is evident, with air conditioning and soundproofing designed to ensure a relaxing stay.

In the San Tomaso neighborhood, daily life intertwines with history; on one side, elegant buildings surrounded by parks can be admired, while on the other, traditional homes with small gardens tell the story of local life. Just a short walk away, Borgo Santa Caterina offers a lively selection of bars and restaurants, enlivening summer evenings and making the area even more attractive.

The strategic location of the B&B allows easy access to the main attractions of the city: in just five minutes on foot, one can reach the Oratory of San Lupo and the Modern Art Gallery, while in ten minutes, one can explore the historic Città Alta or the shopping center of the lower town. A bus stop is also located nearby, facilitating transport to the train station and airport, thus making a car unnecessary for visiting the wonders of Bergamo.

Although it does not offer breakfast at the restaurant, Belle Arti B&B provides a fully equipped kitchen that guests can use. Here, a kettle, an espresso machine, cookies, and a selection of herbal teas are available to delight the palate and make each stay a personal and memorable experience.

The room was very cozy and comfortable. But the price is a bit high for just a room with no breakfast. I guess is just the regular City prices at this time of year. But it was a good experience. The location was really good. Close to all the interest places with a bus from the airport almost at the door of the apt.

The room was beautiful, clean, and most importantly, we were not bothered by noise early in the morning thanks to the double doors separating the room from the hallway. The host was very responsive. Thank you for your service.

The B&B is located about a 15-minute walk from the old town and a stone's throw from the Accademia Carrara. There is parking about a 10-minute walk away. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is not offered, but a small kitchen with coffee, tea, herbal tea and biscuits is available to guests.

One-night stay at the B&B Belle Arti. Quiet and very good location, as it is at the end of the lower city and just under 10 minutes away from the funicular to the upper city, or about 15 minutes on foot to the center. Functional and well-equipped room. Maximum freedom in arrival/departure, as key collection can be done independently with precise information provided by the owner Enrica.

Nice and clean structure. The only drawback is the two steep flights of stairs to access it, which are not indicated on the website, and the towels that, as soon as they get wet, emit a bad smell. A note about breakfast: although not expected, there were tea and biscuits available. Too bad about the biscuit jars. In times of Covid, single portions should be used. Mrs. Enrica was kind and helpful.
