B&B della Ciociaria

Als positive Eigenschaft waren für uns, der nahe Autobahnzubringer. Auch konnte das Frühstück in einer naheliegenden Bar ab 5 Uhr Morgens auf Kosten des B&B Betreibers eingenommen werden.

We arrived (two couples on motorcycles) at the B&B of Ciociaria on the evening of Friday, March 21, around 10:00 PM. We were welcomed by the owner of the establishment Mr. Lelio, who made a good impression on us from the very beginning. Upon entering the very dated establishment, we found the rooms warm because Mr. Lelio had turned on the heat pumps a few hours earlier. Mr. Lelio, at our request, was also willing to contact a pizzeria - it was already 10:30 PM - to have the pizzas delivered directly to the establishment. Up to this point, everything went well, unfortunately, here comes the part that caused us great discomfort during our stay in the establishment. As soon as Mr. Lelio said goodbye to us to go home and rest, what you don't expect happened. The first inconvenience that made us quite angry was the constant disconnection of the electricity meters as soon as we tried to heat the rooms, which were getting colder and colder, using the heat pumps (the only source of heat). Arriving in the evening, I personally had the unfortunate idea to take a shower after traveling for over 3 hours on the motorcycle. Somehow, at a certain point, the water ran out while I was in the shower - which was also very old and poorly maintained - soaped up without any way to rinse off, not even after Mr. Lelio's intervention. After wasting time under the shower waiting for a solution to the problem that never came, I went to bed late in the evening, and since it was very cold, I turned on the heat pump in the hope of warming the room, but in vain because after about a minute the electricity meter disconnected again, leaving us in the cold all night. In the morning upon waking, we found ourselves with frozen rooms and no water to wash ourselves. We are absolutely certain that we cannot recommend this establishment which needs modernization work. Without a doubt, an experience not to be repeated and to be avoided. A small refund from the owner for the inconveniences experienced would have made the stay less bitter, instead showing disinterest and superficiality.

Great place to take a break from a long car trip as it is located 1 km from the highway exit, Mr. Lelio is very helpful... The structure is a bit dated but very clean and you sleep well. Definitely recommend.
