Great place to relax! I stayed in this cozy house for a week and was very pleased. The room was spacious, cozy and beautifully decorated. It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay - a comfortable bed, a large window with a balcony and fresh bed linen.\n\nI was especially pleased with the delicious breakfast. Every morning a fresh croissant from the bakery across the street, fragrant coffee, yogurt, and milk were waiting for me.\n\nI would also like to note the warmth and care of the hostess. She was always ready to help with advice or recommendations to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I felt at home.\n\nIt was a wonderful experience living in this house. I was very pleased and would love to come back here again. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant time in a cozy environment with excellent service!

Family-run B&B, well received and made comfortable, discreet, not intrusive. The place has a room, kitchen, and bathroom. Excellent cleanliness. The place has services just a few steps away (pharmacy, bakery, bar...). For our needs, we will be returning soon. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this property, for university reasons, 4 nights in January 2022 but also a couple of nights (not consecutive) in July 2021. At that time, I found this B&B at the last minute online, needing a room near the Policlinico urgently: in hindsight, never was a more appropriate choice made! The property is located 10-15 minutes' walk from the hospital, surrounded by a supermarket, a pharmacy, and a bakery within about 10 meters, and not far from urban bus stops; the rooms (I stayed in both) are spacious and roomy, with air conditioning (also warm in winter), mini-fridge, TV, numerous clothes hangers; the bathrooms are comfortable and functional; there is a kitchen available to guests, where every morning breakfast is served (rich, plentiful, based on prepackaged products and/or with a hot croissant from the bar). But the real strength, which led me to choose this property the second and third time, is the great availability, courtesy, and friendliness of Mrs. Alfonsina, always present in the property (unlike many other B&Bs in name only, where the managers are almost always absent) and always available for every guest's need. In addition, she is a great company with whom it is pleasant to converse and spend time, it is as if you have known each other forever! Together with the lady, I thank her brother Michelangelo, also very helpful for any eventuality and for any problem (he even drove me a couple of times when I had an unexpected problem), as well as a friendly and friendly person, always available by phone and in person when necessary. \nIn conclusion, I consider myself quite satisfied with B&B Selene not only for the services offered and for the convenience of its location, but above all for having met these special and big-hearted people, who made me feel like family. Thanks to them, time literally flew!

The structure is very beautiful, well-kept and designed. Convenient for those who need a cozy place near the hospital area. The furniture is original and the cleanliness is optimal. The owners are very kind and helpful, and the breakfast is abundant and varied. I would definitely come back.

If we don't feel the difference from our own home, if we fall asleep without any problems and sleep through the night, if we wake up rested forgetting that we are in a hotel only realizing it after turning on the light, then it means that the managers have done an excellent job. Or perhaps more than a job, we should talk about a passion for hospitality, which in many ancient cultures was of primary importance, and which is still present in this place. This is what I felt staying with Ketty and Michelangelo, people we would like to meet in every place we arrive at during our travels. Everything in order, everything clean. But above all, the human aspect is what has pleased me the most.

I spent a weekend in Catania with my family and my boyfriend and we stayed at this B&B! The owner, Michelangelo, is extremely kind, he welcomed us with warmth and reserved two comfortable rooms for us. The cleanliness of the rooms is taken care of by the owner himself and I must say it is impeccable. The B&B is located in an area, perhaps one of the few, where parking is free and it is 5 minutes from the center. Excellent breakfast with croissants, jams, snacks, and as for coffees or cappuccinos, the owner always takes care of them. I recommend it to all those who want to spend a relaxing stay, away from the city's hustle and bustle.

I must say sincerely that I found exquisite and very kind people in Ketty and Michelangelo, as if we had known each other forever. They made me feel like I was the most important person, with so much care and always present for every need and/or request. A family atmosphere that I certainly did not expect to find. From the point of view of the structure, it is truly welcoming, bright rooms with a splendid view, "a muntagna" as they locally call it, namely Mount Etna. What could be more beautiful than waking up to a beautiful real picture? Perhaps with the snow-capped and smoking summit? Not to mention the kitchen where you can find everything, genuine products for a stellar breakfast. With the freedom to just have a coffee and engage in friendly and pleasant conversations with Ketty and Michelangelo. I was amazed by the bathroom, truly beautiful and very practical. In all this, I greatly appreciated the care and cleanliness of the structure, truly impeccable. I found two people, Ketty and Michelangelo, of a kindness that is not easily found in other facilities. I promised myself that I would return to them, given the warm and extraordinary welcome they gave me in that short week I spent in May 2014. It is really worth going back, it is a recommendation for everyone. Thank you Ketty and Michelangelo.

I thought I had booked a normal B&B and instead it felt like I was staying in a four-star hotel! The environments are cared for in every detail and their cleanliness is almost obsessive. You must try the double shower: exceptional. Abundant breakfast with excellent quality foods and products.

I stayed at the B&B Selene Policlinico Catania with my husband during the Christmas week. The owners Ketty and Michelangelo welcomed us with great courtesy and discretion, attentive to all our needs. We were amazed by the extreme cleanliness and the abundant buffet breakfast (there was everything). The bathroom with the double shower is fantastic! We will definitely return. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we felt at home.
