Improvements: I prefer a few slices of bread instead of industrial products. There was no towel, but I had one with me. The view from my balcony is extraordinary. Very nice room and bathroom.

Feeling at home. Non-invasive and very kind owners. Location very close to the airport and, in the end, close to the center of Cagliari (by car). In short, if you are looking for a room in Elmas... go for it.

Very caring operators and a beautiful, clean accommodation with lovingly prepared breakfast. The proximity to the airport convinced us. However, this also means that the planes fly almost through the garden. Fascinating, but airplane noise.

Property close to the airport, where the owners also live, very helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and toiletries provided. The breakfast room was spacious and well equipped, with a variety of products available. The host was welcoming and accommodated my requests for early breakfast and early check-out, as well as my dietary needs, giving me great recommendations for places to dine. About 1.5 km from the center of Elmas, comfortably reachable on foot. Airport transfer service very convenient. Suggestion: inform guests that only cash payments are accepted.

Comfortable family-run establishment. Very helpful staff, they allowed me a check-in at 9:30 PM and I could also advance breakfast in the evening. Being very close to the airport, I do not recommend it for those who have a light sleep.

I stayed at Fenicottero B&B from August 25 to August 30, 2024. The structure is well-kept and very clean, located right in front of the lagoon. A quiet place, immersed in peace and tranquility, far from chaos and nightlife. Spectacular view of the lagoon, especially at sunset. The owner is a very nice, sweet, and always available lady. The breakfast is plentiful, mostly sweet. Very close to the airport, this bed and breakfast is ideal for a relaxing and restful vacation. I definitely plan to return.

All good, Mrs. Battistina and her husband are very kind. I deducted one point from breakfast because packaged croissants are a no-go. Frozen ones to bake exist, as I have always found even in home B&Bs.

The owners Battistina and Pietro, passionate owners and managers of the property, are a marvel. Hospitable, kind, helpful, empathetic. My husband and I stayed twice in July at their delightful little house on the flamingo lagoon, enjoying the flowered garden available to guests and the familiar and affectionate welcome of Battistina and Pietro. We had never been hosted with such affection and, at the same time, with the guarantee of impeccable service, from the cleanliness of the rooms (of rare care), to the breakfast with sweets prepared by Battistina, to the more general availability. The owners also provide a very convenient shuttle service during the day, if, like in our case, you are without a car or motorcycle. Their little house tells a long story of life and family, of which we had the pleasure of listening to the details and which seems to come to life, among the lemons in the garden. Like a novel. We will be back soon! With affection.

Welcoming and wonderful people, both Mrs. Battistina and Mr. Pietro, truly warm-hearted. We stayed with our three children for a weekend and they welcomed us wonderfully, offering us breakfast even though it was not included that day. Then they explained how to get around the city, accompanying us to the bus stop. On my wife's birthday, they offered us homemade pastries and savory pies, all made by the owner and delicious. Italian breakfast (so not savory) but very good and plentiful. Sociable and very kind people. In short, absolutely worth repeating. Highly recommended.

Warm welcome, friendly and helpful hosts. Perfect WiFi, super clean structure. Next to the pond of Cagliari (all windows with mosquito nets), a beautiful sight. Great for those who need to take the plane early, 10 minutes away... if I have the chance, I will definitely come back. Thank you.

I stayed at Battistina and Pietro's place for work reasons. For me, it was like a second home. Lovely, discreet, and very helpful hosts. Mrs. Battistina is very good at making Sardinian sweets and Mr. Pietro is always ready to help in any situation. The place is welcoming and quiet, with a very comfortable room and a relaxing breakfast by the lagoon for those who like to wake up slowly. In the evening, you can enjoy a walk by the lagoon and admire the sunset, or even engage in physical activities following the bike path. In short, I can only recommend it both for those on a business trip and for those on vacation.

Absolutely impeccable cleanliness, if I could, I would give 100 instead of 10 in the rating! Wide choice for my favorite meal: breakfast! Battistina loves to try new recipes, thus delighting her guests with delicious little cakes and cookies; so it's a bit like coming back home to be pampered by your mom. Their advice on transportation, places to visit, and restaurants is valuable. The passion for hospitality and attention to every small detail around the house are behind their fantastic energy and enthusiasm. Keep it up.. Thank you.

I stayed one night at this Fenicottero B&B and I will be happy to come back at the end of the month. The hospitality of the owners and especially the kindness and affability of Mrs. Battistina make the structure - spacious, extremely clean, and meticulously cared for - unique: it's like being at home! Great place for kindness, cordiality, and accommodation. Excellent place in every way. I was there for work from May 30 to September 30, 2017, and spent about 2 months as a guest in this splendid Fenicottero B&B. Battistina and Pietro make you feel at home, very kind and hospitable. Excellent accommodation, comfortable rooms, and excellent cleanliness. What can I say, I had a great time and if I were to go back to those parts, I wouldn't hesitate to contact them. 5 stars all around, well deserved.

We stayed for a weekend in Cagliari in October, taking advantage of the availability and friendliness of Battistina and Piero. The house is in a wonderful location, with the lagoon in front that makes you want to stop and contemplate without moving from there. It is located 10 minutes from Cagliari airport, 10 minutes from a fast road artery that takes you both into the city and out of the city. Furthermore, and not least, we felt at home, with the availability and kindness from the hosts, so that any problem we had was immediately solved. The breakfast pastries were exquisite, all made by Battistina every day. What else can I say? We hope to return soon!

Located in a splendid position, with an incredible panoramic view, featuring pink flamingos nearby, spacious, extremely clean, tastefully decorated with attention to detail. We only stayed one night due to travel needs, as the airport is easily reachable, but I also recommend it to those who want to spend a few days on vacation. The owner's welcome is warm and very professional, making you feel truly pampered and well taken care of. Moreover, we must not forget that the lady is an excellent cook and, upon request, will let you taste delicious meals. Highly recommended.

Found this Fenicottero B&B thanks to a relative, I found myself in Cagliari from one day to the next for work reasons. Everything was new to me, from the work environment to the city passing through the B&B and its owners. But it's true that not all misfortunes come to harm. The B&B is located five minutes from the airport, in front of the Santa Gilla lagoon, with a newly redone walkway in front that is really cute. The structure is very comfortable, as are the rooms and common areas always clean and well cared for, but the real strength of this B&B are Battistina and Pietro. They are the owners of the B&B or as it would be more appropriate to call them now my new Cagliari family. Every time I've been to Cagliari for work, they tried to make me feel not like a stranger in their home, pampering me and showering me with attention, making me feel not like a guest but one of them, one of the family. Thanks to them, I have discovered the typical Sardinian cuisine (Battistina sometimes delights her guests with typical Sardinian specialties) and the most beautiful beaches in southern Sardinia (Pietro is a very precise and efficient tour guide), in addition to the city of Cagliari. The place is recommended for any type of stay, from the very short, given the proximity of the airport, to the quick getaway for a weekend in Sardinian land, to the medium-long for fully enjoying all the facets of a relaxing holiday in Sardinia.

We booked this B&B because we arrived late at the airport and wanted to stay nearby. For that purpose, it was an excellent address. Friendly people and the option to be picked up at the airport was perfect. The breakfast was mainly prepackaged but great for one night.
