A very nice place to stay. Well located in the city center near all the highlights. Friendly owner. Comfortable room with nice bed, airco and plenty of space. I can highly recommend the B&B of Luciano!

Good central location and walking distance to the main attractions. Minimalist facilities and lacked a friendly atmosphere. Room & bathroom were spacious with good quality towels.

Nice accomodation in a historical building. The room was spacious and with many comforts. There was a refrigerator outside in a communal room where you could buy a bottle of water for 50cents. This was extremely handy for us, visiting Florence in July when the weather was extremely hot.

Our room was large and spacious. The bathroom was very clean and the cleaning staff cleaned the room each day. The host was very kind and accommodating! We loved the location and will be coming back here if we travel again to Florence! I would highly recommend this place! It’s no 5 star hotel, but it is perfect for a few days in Florence.

Superbly located, very comfortable with excellent facilities and a great breakfeast buffet, this provided a great location for our stay in Florence/Firenze. Directions for our late entry into the B&B were really clear and easy to follow. We were able to leave our luggage on our last day in Florence, which was very helpful.

Locanda Orchidea is a great place to stay. We really enjoyed the location as it was close enough to walk to all the major sights yet far enough from the centre to get away from the crowds. Our host was extremely helpful. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an all around excellent stay at Locanda Orchidea. Our room was spacious, quiet, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, everything very fresh and nicely presented, as well as kept clean and hygenic. Our host as well as the cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, walking distance to all the major attractions and with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Firenze.

Good location, good place, nice people. Easy checkin and check out, including late check in. Isolation in the rooms is not the best but for a short staying is fine. Super recommended place, only not recommended for highly dust allergic people.

Locanda Orchidea is in a great location for walking in Florence. We had no problem finding our way around to and from the location. There are plenty of restaurants tucked away in the streets surrounding it, and you will have no problem finding anything you came to see. Luciano is a great manager who communicates well with guests and can be seen throughout the day helping others and clearing tables at breakfast. He helped us from check in to check out and was very patient with all our questions. The room was cleaned very well and smelled wonderful whenever we returned. We would definitely come back if visiting Florence.

Excellent stay at this B&B. Centrally located. Easy checkin. Friendly and helpful host. Very good breakfast. Only downside is that the street is very busy and noisy particularly at night, but when the windows were closed we did not find it a problem at all. Definitely recommend.

A real pleasure to stay at Locanda Orchidea! It has been recently renovated and is beautiful and comfortable while still retaining the charm of an old palazzo - large rooms, high ceilings, classic style furniture. The breakfast buffet was perfect, offering a range of fresh, delicious choices. The location is outstanding and the host, Luciano, is extremely thoughtful and nice. There is nothing to fault. We look forward to returning.

Super hébergement, idéalement situé dans le centre-ville et d'une propreté irréprochable. Immeuble de charme. Luciano nous a très bien accueilli et s'est occupé de nous réserver notre taxi pour le retour à l'aéroport. Petit-déjeuner basique mais complet, peut-être amélioré. Un peu bruyant la nuit avec quelques bars à proximité. Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain séjour à Florence !

Der Aufenthalt war super. Luciano, der Betreiber war super nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sauber, mit Fernseher, Klimaanlage, Safe, Schrank, Wasserkocher + Tees, eigenem Bad mit WC, BD und Dusche ausgestattet. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Es gab für wenig Geld täglich kühle Getränke und Kaffee. Es gibt einen Aufzug. Das Frühstück war gut, aber etwas wenig Auswahl. Jedoch vollkommen ausreichend.

Nos a encantado todo. Habitación amplia y muy limpia, desayuno muy rico con muy buen café, personal muy amable, te ayudan en todo momento con cualquier duda... Está muy cerca del centro y de la estación del tren, se puede hacer perfectamente andando. Sin duda ninguna lo recomiendo cien por cien. Si vuelvo a Florencia repito con el alojamiento, a sido magnífico, gracias.

Io e mia figlia abbiamo trascorso 13 giorni meravigliosi alla Locanda Orchidea. Questa era la mia seconda visita e tutto era ancora perfetto: le camere erano splendide e sempre impeccabili, il servizio era perfetto, la colazione era ultra abbondante e deliziosa. Per quanto riguarda Luciano, è un ospite estremamente attento che conosce Firenze come le sue tasche e si fa in quattro per i suoi ospiti. Cosa aggiungere se non che è andato tutto benissimo? Il signor Luciano persona gentilissima e ultra disponibile; la struttura in ottima posizione, praticamente con una comoda passeggiata di 10 minuti si è già al Duomo; estremamente pulito tutto e sempre in ordine. Forse si potrebbe aggiungere qualcosa di più all'assortimento della colazione, ma buonissima anche così. Punto di riferimento per tutte le volte che torneremo a Firenze.

Ho dato tutti voti molto alti perché la Locanda Orchidea è semplicemente favolosa in tutto gestita molto bene dal signor Luciano. Le camere sono proprio come si vedono sui siti: spaziose e luminose. La prenotazione è stata fatta molto in anticipo e quindi il rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente. Posizione in pieno borgo storico: giri tranquillamente Firenze a piedi. Naturalmente consigliata vivamente.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura 2 notti. La posizione è ottima in quanto ben collegata sia per girare il centro città che per la “vita notturna”. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti calorosamente dal proprietario, il quale ci ha parlato subito dei servizi presenti e ci ha illustrato la nostra camera. Per quanto concerne quest’ultima, ci è piaciuta molto in quanto l’abbiamo trovata molto spaziosa e con un buon arredamento in stile fiorentino; le uniche pecche riscontrate sono state i cuscini troppo morbidi risultando così senza spessore e di conseguenza scomodi, il poggia asciugamani, in quanto arrugginito e il porta bagno schiuma in plastica che presentava una spaccatura, piccoli dettagli che possono essere migliorati. Nel nostro soggiorno era inclusa anche la colazione a buffet, che abbiamo trovato molto ricca e varia. In conclusione, consigliamo vivamente di alloggiare presso questa struttura sia per la posizione strategica sia per il trattamento da parte dei proprietari e soprattutto per il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Io e il mio amico ci siamo trovati benissimo, Luciano è un gestore disponibile, gentile e simpaticissimo. Il palazzo si trova in una zona centrale vicino a tutto, dai ristoranti e pub sotto casa ai posti più famosi della città come Santa Maria del Fiore o gli Uffizi. Ottima posizione, a 5 minuti a piedi dal duomo e piazza signoria. Solo 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Santa Maria Novella. Host super disponibile e pulizia eccellente, con cambio biancheria e igienizzazione giornaliera. Molto bella anche la corte interna ed il palazzo molto antico (sebbene ristrutturato). Lo consiglio!

Luciano è stato davvero gentile sin dall’accoglienza in struttura. All’arrivo abbiamo notato subito la pulizia della camera, ordine e il profumo di pulito. La posizione è davvero ottima per girare la città, centrale rispetto a tutti i punti e servita di tutto nella via in cui si trova la struttura. Infine la colazione è stata ottima e Luciano si è dimostrato disponibile per venire incontro alle nostre esigenze di partenza.

Siamo stati in questo B&B per 3 notti e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Partendo dal gestore, il signor Luciano, che ci ha fatti sentire subito e a casa, grazie alla sua disponibilità e professionalità. L'ambiente è molto curato, pulito e silenzioso. La colazione del mattino è abbondante e con molta scelta. Per non parlare poi della posizione all'interno della città: con pochi passi si arriva alle principali attrazioni. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Struttura ubicata in posizione centrale a pochi passi dal duomo e dalle principali attrattive della città. Camera pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. La nostra un pò rumorosa, essendo vicino alla cucina e alla sala colazioni. Colazione abbondante, con dolce e salato, consumata in una veranda che affaccia su un piccolo, ma delizioso giardino. Disponibile il signor Luciano ad ogni esigenza. Consigliata.

Struttura centralissima ma silenziosa con affaccio su giardino interno bellissimo. Camera molto spaziosa e pulitissima. Colazione varia ed abbondante e per finire una menzione va al proprietario gentilissimo ed affabile. Tornerò sicuramente.

Semplicemente una meravigliosa scoperta! Vicino a tutti i punti di interesse a Firenze, letteralmente nel cuore della città ma allo stesso tempo a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Struttura d'epoca, ben curata e molto pulita. Le camere sono pulite giornalmente e hanno le finestre in doppio vetro che consentono di non esser disturbati dai rumori esterni che potrebbero esserci. La colazione è abbondante e varia. Il proprietario, Luciano, è gentilissimo e super disponibile, davvero una brava persona. Sceglierei altre mille volte questa struttura e la consiglio a tutti! Tornerò di sicuro!

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti in questo caratteristico bed and breakfast e lo consigliamo vivamente. La posizione è centrale (tutte le attrazioni turistiche e anche la stazione sono raggiungibili a piedi in poco tempo). Uscite dalla porta e Firenze è intorno a voi. La camera era pulita e confortevole (con bagno privato). La colazione abbondante e variegata (sia dolce che salata). In ultimo, l’accoglienza e la disponibilità del Sig. Luciano hanno contribuito a rendere questo soggiorno davvero piacevole. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Torneremo sicuramente!

Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni in questa affascinante struttura storica per visitare la magnifica Firenze, e tanto è bastato per lasciarla a malincuore, alla nostra ripartenza. La posizione è perfetta, lontana dalla ressa turistica ma vicinissima al Duomo, al centro e a tutte le attrazioni che offre la città. L'arredamento elegante e di buon gusto, che richiama il classico stile fiorentino, caratterizza stanze accoglienti, spaziose, pulite e servite di ogni comfort. Al risveglio attende una ricca colazione, con un'ampia scelta di prodotti sia dolci che salati (buonissime le torte!). E ultima, ma non meno importante, l'accoglienza del Signor Luciano, che ringraziamo ancora, la cui gentilezza, simpatia e disponibilità fanno la differenza nel rendere il soggiorno assolutamente perfetto. Consigliatissima. Torneremo!

Ho messo tutti 10, perché veramente siamo stati bene: la camera era pulita e spaziosa in un contesto storico nel pieno centro di Firenze e, per quanto riguarda la colazione, c’era una vasta scelta di cose buone. Il sign. Luciano, molto disponibile, ci ha anche consigliato e prenotato la cena presso l’osteria di fronte “Corte dei pazzi” dove abbiamo mangiato molto bene, il personale era molto gentile e il locale molto carino. Consiglio vivamente di alloggiare alla “Locanda dell’Orchidea” per visitare Firenze, che è una città magnifica.

Erano anni che volevamo andare a Firenze e la nostra “prima volta” è stata speciale anche grazie al Signor. Luciano e al suo B&b! Professionalità unica, super attento in tutto. Il B&b è super vicino al centro e abbiamo sempre raggiunto tutto a piedi (anche la stazione, facendo una bella camminata). Non saprei cos'altro aggiungere alle numerose recensioni positive già pubblicate da precedenti utenti. Se avessi potuto dare anche la lode ai voti che ho espresso (tutti 10), lo avrei sicuramente fatto. Aggiungo solamente un mio parere personale: di strutture ubicate in modo favorevole alla visita di Firenze ce ne sono parecchie, ed allora la differenza la fa la professionalità, la competenza, la cortesia e la gentilezza del Signor Luciano che credo si riscontri molto raramente in altri casi. Questa struttura si merita il massimo dei voti in tutto. A partire dalla disponibilità e gentilezza del Sig. Luciano, la colazione ottima e più che abbondante con molta possibilità di scelta. Camera pulita e profumatissima. Posizione più che centrale e con una vasta gamma di ristoranti/trattorie tutte nelle vicinanze. Sarà il mio punto di riferimento ogni volta che passerò da Firenze.

Un B&B che sorge nel palazzo della famiglia Donati, atmosfera tradizionale, signorile ma davvero accogliente. Tanto quanto l'oste che ci ha accolti con tutta la disponibilità del mondo fornendoci sin dalla prenotazione utilissime informazioni per visitare al meglio la città e dandoci ulteriori dritte al nostro arrivo. La struttura, disposta su più piani, risulta pulita, comoda e in una posizione stupenda per visitare il centro storico, essendo a soli 5 minuti (massimi) a piedi dal Duomo. Dotata di numerosi servizi (wifi, bollitore in camera, macchinetta del caffè e acqua nelle aree comuni, riscaldamento/condizionamento, ascensore...), quando dovrò tornare a Firenze non avrò alcun motivo per cercare un altro luogo in cui pernottare.

La struttura è centralissima. Il quid in più è dovuto alla tecnologia per entrare nella struttura e la simpatia del gestore. Persona presente, ma discreta e con una cultura della vita fiorentina che permette di allietare gli ospiti con aneddoti. L'ambiente è molto pulito e con i comfort necessari.

Siamo stati un fine settimana in questa splendida città. Il signor Luciano è stato disponibile in tutto e per tutto, la struttura e sito a due passi dal centro e della stazione. La struttura è molto accogliente, la colazione abbondante servita in una sala dedicata. La camera era molto spaziosa, cosi come il bagno. Ritorneremo volentieri in questa splendida città.

La struttura si trova in una zona strategica, in pieno centro città e a pochi minuti dalla stazione di SMN. La camera nella quale abbiamo dormito era molto spaziosa, così come il bagno. La colazione molto ricca era servita in una sala dedicata dove il gestore si prendeva cura di noi con estrema gentilezza. Ritorneremo senz'altro perché siamo tornati a casa con un bellissimo ricordo. Posizione ottima in un bellissimo palazzo d'epoca. La camera matrimoniale era molto spaziosa, pulita e confortevole; inoltre le finestre affacciavano sul cortile interno, quindi non abbiamo avuto problemi di rumori durante la notte. Bagno privato in camera, pulito e funzionale. Il Sig. Luciano, il proprietario, è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Rapporto qualità/prezzo pienamente positivo, considerato soprattutto il periodo e la zona della città. L'unico appunto che potrei fare riguarda la colazione, un po' limitata per chi come me soffre di celiachia. Potrebbe essere un valore aggiunto dotarsi all'occorrenza di prodotti senza glutine (anche industriali) per i clienti celiaci. Nel complesso il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. Struttura decisamente consigliata.
