Oca Giuliva is the perfect spot for a laid-back holiday. Whether you're lounging by the saltwater pool, soaking up the sun, or diving into a good book, it's a wonderfully relaxing place. We stayed in Room 4 on the top floor (just one flight of stairs). It was spacious enough for three people and our dog, featuring three beds, air conditioning, a smart TV with access to Netflix, Disney+, HBO and more, plus a full bathroom. We also enjoyed unlimited sparkling and still water, along with coffee and tea throughout our stay. Breakfast was delightful, especially the homemade cakes. Francesca and Pipo were incredibly attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and offering great tips about the local area. Parking was available inside the fenced property, which made us feel very secure. The only minor downside was some noise from the nearby busy road while at the pool, but it wasn’t an issue inside the room. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and can’t recommend Oca Giuliva enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Oca Giuliva is a very nice B&B with a beautiful property, swimming pool and nice clean rooms. The host 'Pipo' and his lovely wife Sabrina are very hospitable. Pipo takes care of all his guests and takes all the time to give them a good time. We had a wonderful time at the Oca Giuliva. Cooking with other Italian guests, the delicious meal that Sabrina made, made us feel at home. Pipo, Sabrina, the other guests (Barbara & Paolo, Orazio & Isabella) made our stay unforgettable! The Carabinieri intervened at 11 p.m. on the first day. The owner lost his temper and insulted the guests, forcing us to leave the property the next morning for having moved a small crocheted item in the common area. Surreal. Although we had left at his explicit request in the presence of the Carabinieri, he had the nerve to keep the full amount of the stay. We filed a complaint. Stay away.

The property has no refrigerator in any room, which I personally consider essential in a B&B. They provide ice packs for a cooler bag like in the 1980s. 🙁

Really nice and welcoming place, with many little animals to keep you company: turtles, fish and a beautiful cat. The owners welcomed us as if we were old friends and, always attentive and caring, went out of their way to meet every need. The pool, small but very convenient, has pleasantly saline water and is clean, well serviced and well maintained. Breakfast, prepared by the hosts with local products, is abundant and varied. The rooms, clean and soberly furnished, are equipped with all comforts: air conditioning, mosquito nets, a smart TV and everything else needed for a pleasant stay. It's a pity that the stay, much to our regret, was short, and praise goes to Francesca and Giuseppe, who are attentive, delightful people and always give excellent suggestions, as well as making the property truly welcoming.

We have just returned from our holiday in Tuscany. The last 3 days spent at this B&B! We had a great time, the B&B is very well-kept, the rooms are very beautiful, cozy, and clean! Super breakfast, every morning different types of homemade cakes, freshly squeezed juice, cappuccino, coffee according to preferences. There is also a savory breakfast for those who prefer it! Giuseppe and Francesca are two excellent hosts who make you feel at ease right away by describing the available services and recommending places for lunch and dinner! The B&B is located in a strategic position to reach places like Volterra and San Gimignano as per our plan! And upon returning from our trips, relaxation by the pool! Absolutely recommended!

Beautiful structure, renovated and very clean. Spacious, cozy, and super clean room. Daily cleaning service for the room. The breakfast is very good, with fresh cakes prepared by Francesca, the owner. Instead of the usual industrial juices found in buffets, they serve fresh-squeezed juice and the cappuccino and/or coffee is always prepared by Francesca. I appreciated that very much. With us was our 16-year-old furry daughter, under therapy, so we had different needs, but the owners are always very kind and willing to meet our requests. A special thanks to Francesca and Giuseppe for making us feel at home, and we'll see you again in August!

Nice place, the hosts were kind and helpful. Our room was a bit small, in the very small bathroom there should be shelves to place personal hygiene products. It's fine for 2 or 3 nights. Maybe the other rooms are larger.

We spent some beautiful carefree and relaxing days at the B&B Oca Giuliva. We liked everything, from the breakfast to the rooms, to the swimming pool (with salt water), to the friendliness of the owners, to the frogs in the pond. Tranquil location but a few minutes from Cecina, suitable for those who want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle but at the same time be able to reach all the interesting places without difficulty. Excellent quality price ratio! What else can I say, I hope to return soon.

Beautiful stay, the managers Pippo and Francesca are exquisite people who know how to recommend the destinations to visit, and the best restaurants. The room was cozy, very clean and comfortable, equipped with a TV with the possibility to watch Netflix, free wifi working in all areas of the property. Bathroom with a very spacious shower and limescale-free water. The breakfast was plentiful with delicious homemade cakes. The saltwater pool is a true oasis of relaxation. The location of the property is strategic for many destinations, attractions, museums and of course beaches. Furthermore, the property adopts a plastic-free approach.

Strategic location to reach both the sea and the hinterland with the villages of Volterra and San Gimignano easily reachable, then Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, and Casale Marittimo. Friendly and very helpful hosts. The breakfast is complete and rich, perhaps the best among all the Bed & Breakfasts we have visited so far. The pool is nice even though its proximity to the road has deprived it of absolute tranquility. Highly recommended.

I stayed with my boyfriend at the B&B Oca Giuliva, during the weekend of June 14/16. From the very beginning we were impressed by the kindness and availability of the owners Pippo and Francesca, who warmly welcomed us. The property is located in a strategic area, close to the main tourist attractions of Volterra, Pisa, Livorno, as well as characteristic villages. Breakfast is a special moment here, thanks to Francesca's skill in preparing exquisite cakes. The rooms appear clean and very comfortable, as well as the entire property, which is well maintained. Oca Giuliva is a quiet place, in the green, it's a pity not to come here in the summer, because they also have a beautiful pool, the room is clean and very welcoming, the managers Pippo and Francesca are kind and loving people, they came to welcome us at the car, they accompanied us to the room and we chatted for a while, indicating places to eat and visit. We were pampered for the short time of our 2-night stay, but it felt like a week-long vacation. Both hosts were very kind, hospitable, and professional. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning efficient. The cleanliness was perfect and the environment safe, with a remote-controlled gate and a Caribbean pool that we enjoyed quite a bit.

Excellent property in a strategic location to visit some of the most beautiful villages in the area such as San Gimignano, Bolgheri, and Volterra, as well as Livorno and Pisa. However, the real strength lies in the two "characters" who manage the property, Pippo and Francesca. They are a close-knit couple who try to meet all requests and provide answers to the many questions we asked, exceeding the expectations of a tour guide. With them, you feel like part of the family thanks to their constant kindness and courtesy. In a few days, they won over the whole family, and in return, we showed them what a true aperitivo in Milan means. Great!

We had a great time. The room and common areas are very clean. The bathroom is comfortable and with a spacious shower. The place is well-kept and delightful, you are welcomed by the scent of jasmine that can be found in several parts of the garden. The managers are friendly and sociable, and thanks to their advice we ate very well and saw wonderful places that we would have missed. I recommend it.

The couple of managers are very helpful and friendly, they immediately put you at ease and it feels like being in a family's house where everyone tells you where they come from, what they do in life, what experiences they have had, episodes that are joked about etc. etc: truly a nice and genuine atmosphere. I recommend it to those who want to "unplug" from work and everything else for a few days, whether it's a weekend or not. For the record, all the pastries at breakfast are entirely made by them, well done because they are very good and they are not always the same every morning.

I highly recommend it. The owners are very kind, the structure is cozy and very relaxing. Equipped with satellite TV and WiFi, 24-hour access freedom so you can come and go without time constraints, possibility to use the saltwater pool... of course, while respecting the house rules.

The B&B Oca Giuliva is in a strategic area to visit both seaside resorts and those in the hills. We stayed 3 days and we had a good time, the managers are present and friendly but very discreet, the pool area is a gem, like the little garden. The rooms are nice and well-kept. Small downsides: proximity to a noisy road, breakfast with non-buffet industrial products (due to covid), third extra bed for a boy not very comfortable. Suggestion: add a small fridge in the rooms.

This B&B is located in a quiet area, immersed in nature but, at the same time, it is conveniently positioned to visit nearby villages and cities. The parking is inside the property. A nice place, excellent cleanliness, the room where we stayed is very beautiful, large, and functional, and perfectly acoustically isolated from, unfortunately, the noise of the nearby street. The air conditioning allows you to keep all the windows closed and be calm. The bathroom is spacious, and the room is made up every day, which is not bad for a B&B. Beautiful pool with a nice corner where the owner Pippo challenges everyone to play forty. Kindness and friendliness surround the structure. Good breakfast, excellent cold cuts, remarkable sweet part. In short, a nice environment; the small problem of the street noise, noticeable from the pool and during breakfast outdoors, is more than compensated for by everything else. By the way, Pippo informed us that this winter they will install a noise barrier at the edge of the street. Highly recommended, we will definitely return.

Very well maintained and welcoming facility, the only discordant note is the proximity to the road which, however, is forgotten considering everything else. The pool is also well kept and pretty. The manager is very kind, friendly and helpful. He recommended places to visit and great restaurants to dine at. The concept of being plastic free and sustainable is also highly appreciated, with unlimited availability of water bottles and water.

Pippo is a phenomenal host. Talkative but not intrusive with rare availability. Always in a good mood and very organized. As soon as we arrived, he recommended various places to go eat or visit. The pool is small but really very relaxing. It is salt water and always at a pleasant temperature, the shared garden is very nice and well maintained. Comfortable room and even more so the bathroom, the shower is fabulous! Very convenient place also for those like us who have a dog, the only obvious restriction is that it cannot go into the pool, the property is fully fenced and you can leave it free, but accompanied, in the parking area. I hope to be able to return because it really deserves it.

We booked online, answering all the requests, we indicated who we were, including a 3-year-old child. When we arrived, there was neither a bed nor a crib for him. We were told that we should have asked for it (online nothing of all this was specified) and that it could not be given because for sanitization the crib had to be sent somewhere else; I don't know why it couldn't be sanitized like the other beds (which certainly cannot be moved from there). The manager is a bit rigid and not very attentive. I read reviews where it is said that he is nice but I didn't find him so helpful. The breakfast is poor, a plate with few and basic things. With a bit of arrogance, he told us that we should not bring plastic bottles because the B&B was plastic free, except then finding soap and shampoo bottles and plastic jam packages... The place is nice and there is a beautiful pool.

What can I say, we booked for 4 days, the manager calls us proposing to add an extra day as the rooms are available, after some hesitation we accept... On the fourth day, the manager presents us with the bill, claiming not to remember having offered us an additional day, apologizing but without much conviction. In short, he invites us to leave the property, without proposing an alternative and without a euro discount, not requested by us. Apart from this unpleasant episode, the property is adequate for the price, not very well-kept on the outside and with a rather disappointing breakfast... Obviously, Tuscany offers many solutions, it is worth a visit... More attention to choosing the property...

Very friendly, kind and super helpful manager to recommend places to visit, villages, beaches and restaurants. Convenient location 10 minutes from the sea, ideal for trips also inland. Terrace with fabulous pool, slightly salty water does not leave that annoying chlorine smell. The only downside is the main road, the rooms facing it suffer particularly because at night it is really difficult to sleep with the window open. However, the windows are perfectly soundproofed.

B&B Oca Giuliva is a nice little place, about 10 km from the sea, surrounded by the countryside and lots of greenery. The structure has been recently well renovated, few but very well-kept and comfortable rooms, fresh and quiet, with private bathroom and large shower. Fantastic huge bed. Beautiful shaded outdoor space used in the morning for breakfast. There is a beautiful swimming pool with salt water and a well-equipped solarium. A mention then to the friendly presence of the owner, Pippo, very helpful in giving advice and recommending excellent restaurants.

The Oca Giuliva is a small B&B located in a strategic area of Tuscany, in Riparbella. From here you can reach by car several towns such as the Gulf of Baratti, Volterra, San Gimignano, Populonia, Montescudaio, Bolgheri, Casale Marittimo, Castagneto Carducci, Cecina... all wonderful places rich in history. If you are looking for a place to regenerate body and mind, this is the place for you. We felt at home. The structure is very beautiful and well-kept. Pippo, the owner, along with Sabrina, are very hospitable and make you feel at home. Breakfast is served at tables for eight, allowing you to socialize. In fact, we made friends with other Italian and Dutch couples, even organizing a dinner together. The saltwater pool is very charming, with background music that provides the opportunity to relax. The rooms are well-kept, equipped with air conditioning and vintage details. In short, we felt at home and will definitely return with friends. We recommend it to couples, families, and why not also to those with four-legged friends to bring along, as the property also welcomes Gastone and Lulu, a very affectionate dog and cat. The whole setting is located in a strategic area of Tuscany where you can visit many places, from hills, sea, wineries, to historic towns like Volterra and San Gimignano.

As Pippo (the manager of the property) said, we had the "unfortunate" luck to come across the announcement of his B&B Oca Giuliva on Facebook, and having to organize a quick trip at the last moment, we seized the opportunity! What can I say, the property is located in a strategic place between the hills and the sea of Cecina, convenient for visiting cities like Pisa, Livorno, Volterra, San Gimignano, etc. Pippo (the manager) immediately welcomed us with warmth at his B&B Oca Giuliva which is a little gem, clean, well furnished, very cozy and familiar. The pool then adds that extra value to the stay, it's a really welcome convenience! The breakfast is rich and abundant (both sweet and savory) and Pippo was always ready to meet our requests. Highly recommended, we will be back!

An oasis of peace and tranquility. Fabulous location and in a privileged position being very close to the sea and to many Tuscan villages such as Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Bolgheri etc. Rooms furnished with taste and harmony. The pool excellently completes the picture.

13 nights and 13 days spent in harmony and familiarity. All this thanks also to Pippo and Sabrina, wonderful hosts. The house is also well taken care of with a small but truly precious pool for the moments of return from the sea and various excursions, our little dog Macchia also found a playmate, the very cute Gastone. I close by thanking Pippo for his always prompt availability. Thanks also to Sabrina for her sweets and for her care and attention. A place that my wife and I definitely recommend. We hope to return next year or maybe even sooner.

Nice structure, nice comfortable and spacious room, the outdoor space promotes relaxation and the pool is really nice, even though we never used it because we took advantage of every minute of the sea. The breakfast is plentiful and caters to all tastes. The owners are kind, hospitable, and helpful, we felt at home and will definitely return. Pippo's recommendations on where to eat or which part of the sea to bathe were invaluable, we had a great time. Honorable mention for the shower, our daughter loved it.

The good judgment was compromised by the fact that the manager had not informed us that there were rather important works in progress. Besides compromising the visibility of the property, they made parking difficult, requiring at least two maneuvers with a small car. The name B&B Oca Giuliva is deceiving, as one expects to find a farm instead the house is above the Cecina - Volterra road, very busy and therefore noisy. There are no courtyard animals, nor self-produced organic foods. If you really can't find anything else, ask if there is a room available that does not face the road. They gave us that one but we were three and the size of the room was not enough to be comfortable. Well, if it's cheap, you can't expect more, but who knows after the works. The nearest beautiful sea is almost 50 km away, don't trust what the blue flags say. Cecina is a beautiful town where you can eat "very well" everywhere in our experience, the surroundings have beautiful pine forests but the sea is not clean, and if it is, you can't see it. For a decent sea, aim for Follonica, the Tuscan Rimini, or look for accommodation near the Gulf of Baratti (Piombino), with truly Caribbean sea, very enjoyable beaches, and famous centuries-old pine trees.

Excellent structure, too bad for the road so close but it doesn't imply sleep problems or anything else. Great tips on where to eat or where to go to the sea. Convenient to facilities and the highway. The pool under construction will add further class to the B&B. I will come back.

Great location to visit the surrounding villages and go to the beach. New and welcoming rooms, very good breakfast, especially the cakes made by the owner, only downside (overlookable) the Wi-Fi in our room had no signal, and parking small and not very convenient. Our stay was still very pleasant, we highly recommend it, especially for a couple. Notable the excellent value for money.

Comfortable and impeccable rooms, warm welcome and truly exemplary availability, enriched by very precious and apt advice on opportunities and attractions in the surroundings. The structure is not very close to the sea but all the most interesting places nearby can be easily reached. Varied breakfast that sometimes reserves truly pleasant surprises! The common spaces are a bit sacrificed and the external ones suffer a bit from the traffic on the street in front, but improvement works are planned that should significantly improve the situation - in the meantime, the pine forests on the coast offer an excellent alternative!
