Description
The B&B "La Terra di Archimede " is located in the heart of Syracuse, surrounded by the glorious history of the city, which besides being the protagonist of historical events related to the empire greek, gave birth to the great inventor Archimedes, as evidenced by our own the name.

Set in a lovely flowered courtyard surrounded by an ancient palace.

The central location is excellent ellows you easily reach on foot the main historical sites and entertainment venues of particular interest: The Archaeological Park with the Greek theatre - Ear of Dionysius, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Tears, The Museum Paolo Orsi, the Catacombs of St. John and all the wonders that make this city unique.

It is also sufficient for a walk 5 min to reach the beautiful Ortigia (once a stronghold of the tyrant Dionysius of Syracuse, now a melting pot of history and beauty, blend of styles and cultures that succeeded one another over the centuries and jewel of the Mediterranean).

The train station or bus station are in ' close proximity. The B&B offers accommodation in bedrooms furnished with attention to detail. The rooms are silent, very confortable, equipped with air conditioning, wireless internet connection, LCD TV, heating and en-suite bathroom with hairdryer and shower., and all of the privacy and relaxation you could wish for. The 'Terra di Archimedè B&B offers to its guests a hearty breakfast with local food and homemade cakes and jams. The price includes wifi connection, at guests' disposal an ample and comfortable attic., with equipped kitchen (for cooking, ideal for families), coffee machine with pods, corner sofa with TV, internet, and computer station. Patio. Possibility of adding a third bed for the price of 10 €, children under 8 years old do not pay, the cradle. In the cout yard you can park your bike, or biciclette. It's ' easy to find parking for the car in front of the B&B or in the same street. For those who book for a long time will be charged a special rate.

Archimede's Terra is a beautiful and very comfortable house. Teresa is a charming woman who makes you feel at home. Attentive and available, she gave us all kinds of details about what to visit in Siracusa and Ortigia, she advised us on places to eat well and at a good price. It's everything you want to find when you're traveling.

The welcome was very cordial, and the conversations with Teresa very warm. I keep a vivid memory of my stay. The B&B La Terra di Archimede is located in a quite convenient and quiet place, between the old town and the newer districts, not far from the main bus lines. The room is pleasant and we appreciated the separate and individual bathroom. The breakfasts are top-notch with a wide choice of pastries and drinks! I highly recommend this charming and high-quality B&B where you feel at home! An ideal base for visiting this magnificent and touching city of Syracuse!

Our room was very large with a beautifully renovated bathroom. Air-conditioned room. Sweet breakfast. We had infusion and coffee. Toasted sandwich bread with homemade jam, very special and good. Yogurt. Also available are cookies, packaged croissants, cereals, and juice. The owner is a very nice and helpful lady. Always present in the morning for breakfast, she is ready to help or provide useful information if needed. Excellent quality/price ratio.

It seems easy, but it's not... to feel at home, in a protected and comfortable environment, that smells clean and fresh, where everything is in the right place, where you would want it and keep it, where even the neighborhood, in the chatter and in the daily routine, is pleasant; and what about Teresa? Kind, friendly, helpful, attentive, caring, not at all intrusive and much more, thank you Teresa for everything! P.S. the house is 5 minutes walk from Ortigia, in a quiet neighborhood away from the chaos, perfect location, I recommend it to everyone!

Very nice apartment, located 15 minutes walk from many attractions to see in the city and in a quiet neighborhood. For breakfast, you can find everything. The lady who welcomed us is very nice and helpful.

Stay of 3 days and 2 nights in a quadruple room in July 2023. The structure is very nice, the location is great, the cleanliness is sufficient, everything works well. The property is very well positioned compared to the historic center of Syracuse. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is quite good. But what makes the structure even more welcoming is Mrs. Teresa. She explains everything to you, where to go, what to do and is always available to help. Mrs. Teresa also speaks German and English, so it's excellent for foreigners who want to visit the beauties of this land!

If you stay in Syracuse, the B&B La Terra di Archimede is definitely recommended for the value for money, as well as for the convenience of the location, close to Ortigia and with easy parking. The interiors are new and of quality, the cleanliness is excellent and guests have at their disposal a 24-hour room with free computer and furnished kitchen. The breakfast is satisfying (the fresh brioches are exceptional), but typical Sicilian products are missing, only industrial packaged ones are available.
