Location and style
Our home is located in Verona's art city, in a place rich in archaeological sites and buildings of great architectural value, in the heart of the city in the Arena area. "The Window on the Arena" is an elegant and unique residence in the originality of its style, with two different accomodation.
Surroundings
Our guests will have the opportunity to walk and shop along the shopping streets to build delicious food and wine routes through which to discover traditions and cultures, to follow cultural events and exhibitions.
A short distance, our guests will find examples of our heritage of history and art and various tourist attractions.
Location
Our property is the ideal location for families who want to find the comforts of home for their stay, for romantic stays, as well as business meetings and stays.
Property Features
Our property offers two different accommodations.
- One, on the second floor, is an independent apartment that can accommodate four people in separate spaces, the rooms have a balcony overlooking the Roman amphitheater where a small table allows you to enjoy a coffee or an aperitif with a privileged view. The terraces of the living room overlook Via Mazzini, the shopping street. Finally there is a small fitted kitchen and a bathroom with shower. The apartment has recently been restored and features air conditioning and ceiling fans. There is a washing machine, hairdryer, free wi-fi. Children's cot on request. Extra single bed in living room. No breakfast service here, but the and coffee always available in the kitchen.
- On the top floor, the fourth, mansarded, of our home, there is a suite consisting of three rooms, that can accommodate 4 or 5 persons: a large room with a double bed, a bedroom with a French bed (140 cm) with a roof window Overlooking the Arena, a bright living area and a bathroom with shower and hot tub. Air conditioning, fan, hairdryer available.
On the lower floor, in our kitchen, we make available gourmet so that our guests can have their breakfast at their favorite time, even in our absence (coffee, tea, juice, barley, milk, yogurt, cereals, fruit, butter, jam, Bread, biscuits, biscuits, packaged breadcrumbs. . .)
Notes
Managers will be able to provide you with the information you need in Italian but also in English and French.
There is no lift in the property, of ancient origins.

Conditions

Cancellation conditions (except for non-refundable rates)

The penalty varies depending on the time of cancellation
- from time of booking to 15 days before the check-in date, no penalty is charged;
- from 14 to 7 days before the check-in date, you will be charged a penalty of 25% of the total cost of the booking;
- from 6 to 1 days before the check-in date, you will be charged a penalty of 50% of the total cost of the booking;
- A penalty of 100% of the entire cost of the stay is applied for failure to show or cancellation on day of arrival;

Payment terms

Balance to be paid at check-in
For non-refundable discounted rates, when the facility requires it, the guest must pay in advance as indicated to complete the booking. Payment is not refunded in the event of a cancellation.

Many thanks to Camilla and Giuliana for outstanding hospitality! My husband and I like your place so much that have decided to stay in your apartment next time, when we will come back to Verona. It is very convenient location-couple of minutes walking from Arena (you can even see Arena from the balcony) and very close to main attractions of the city. It was very easy route from train station with 15 minutes walking distance. Apartment is very clean, it has everything what you need, even washing machine. I will definitely recommend La Finestra sull'Arena to everyone, especially to those who is planning to go to Opera. Thanks again to Camilla and Giuliana.

A peaceful haven in an ideal situation for all the main Verona attractions. Comfortable and characterful. Would recommend for a city break. Kind and helpful hosts. Many stairs so not for those with limited mobility!

I recommend renting this apartment. Only downsides was lack of air condition (fan only) and narrow balconies! we were 3 people sharing apartment on second level. Two double beds bedrooms with balcony towards Via Marchetti, a living room (where there's a single bed, a sofa tv table chairs and The big oak mirrored cupboard) with balconies towards Via Mazzini shopping street. There's a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower washing machine. I estimate the area to be 55-65 m2. The price is good value comparing hotel room rates for 3 people. The security and landlord is very helpful. The arena is on the doorstep but you're not disturbed, only very happy to be so close that you walk home after opera performance very quickly. You can see the wall of the arena from the balcony.

Bed and Breakfast très bien place à côté des arènes et de la rue commerçante. Camilla et Giuliana sont très gentilles et disponibles. Quelques escaliers à monter mais comme partout. Je recommande vivement.

Ottima location, a due passi (veramente) dall'Arena. Due camere da letto entrambe mansardate e ben allestite con materassi molto confortevoli, bagno piccolo ma ben allestito con doccia e vasca idromassaggio. Notata molta cura nella pulizia dell'intero ambiente Ottima la dotazione per la colazione Proprietaria molto gentile e sempre pronta nel rispondere alla domande prima e durante il soggiorno. Benché abbia soggiornato un solo giorno e una sola notte, mi sono trovata benissimo: è una struttura in cui non ho sofferto il caldo (nonostante le alte temperature esterne), comoda e soprattutto a pochi metri dall' Arena, in pieno centro! Sicuramente tornerò, prima o poi!

Ottimo BeB con posizione eccellente per visitare Verona e per chi è interessato alle opere o i concerti che si svolgono all'interno dell'Arena. Posizione e vista meravigliosa. E' dotato di servizi completi di tutto in cucina. In baggno vasca idro e doccia. Unica nota da segnalare la presenza di scale ikmpegnative per raggiungerla. ma sappiamo che non esistono rose senza spine.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo fantastico B&B in pieno centro a Verona ad un minuto a piedi dall’arena! Giuliana, la titolare, è una persona solare e pronta ad aiutare e dare consigli ai suoi ospiti! Appartamento ampio con due spaziose camere da letto con due letti matrimoniali, un bagno con doccia e vasca, un bel disimpegno luminoso con scrivania e divanetto: tutto questo al piano superiore tutto mansardato con travi a vista: la particolarità è che le finestre si affacciano sui tetti di Verona e sull’arena. Incantevole. Al piano inferiore una cucina molto grande completa di tutto. L’appartamento è situato al terzo piano e non c’è l’ascensore, ma ne vale davvero la pena fare qualche scalino! Una vera chicca nel cuore di Verona! 10 di voto è troppo poco! Per iniziare potrei parlare della gentilezza di Giovanna, che oltre ad averci aspettato al nostro arrivo (più tardi rispetto al check in ordinario), ci ha illustrato anche i monumenti da visitare e le varie attività da fare durante il nostro soggiorno (una vera guida turistica!), per poi passare alla pulizia sopraffina della suite e finire con la colazione da “campioni” che ci è stata preparata la mattina dopo! Sembrava veramente di essere a casa propria. Per non parlare della vista molto romantica di una parte dell’arena dalla finestra della cameretta. Di certo se dovessimo tornare a Verona, non sceglieremmo altro B&b se non “la finestra sull’arena”. Complimenti complimenti ed ancora complimenti!

Locazione ideale per chi vuole visitare Verona è vicinissima all'arena perfetta per chi come me voleva correre la maratona. molto cortese la proprietaria che mi ha permesso dopo la corsa di fare la doccia cosa che molte strutture dopo il check-out non permettono.

Mancanza di privacy causa porta ingresso stanza in comune con cucina colazione. Jacuzzi è una semplice vasca da bagno piccola con idromassaggio. Stanze carine. Colazione triste triste.

Gentile Roberto, ci dispiace che non abbia gradito il soggiorno da noi, tuttavia qualsiasi bed and breakast, per definizione, è situato nella casa del gestore, con cui si condivide, in misura maggiore o minore, la privacy. Nella nostra struttura mettiamo a disposizione un intero piano proprio per lasciare la privacy ai nostri ospiti, il solo spazio della cucina, che viene preparato per la colazione, viene condiviso con la proprietà. Se desidera uno spazio più riservato potrei suggerirle per il futuro di rivolgersi a un hotel, oppure affittare un'intera casa vacanza da avere a sua disposizione. In più di quindici anni in cui accogliamo ospiti in casa nostra, non abbiamo mai ricevuto una lamentela di questo tenore: lasciamo infatti piena libertà sull'orario della colazione e non entriamo nello spazio della cucina finché gli ospiti non abbiamo terminato la colazione. Offriamo per la colazione ingredienti di prima qualità e molto spesso biologici, dalla frutta, al latte, ai biscotti, tassativamente confezionati come da normativa regionale, ci dispiace che il servizio non sia stato di suo gradimento. Le chiediamo inoltre cortesemente di segnalarci che cosa giustifichi il voto insufficiente alla pulizia, dato che teniamo in modo particolare a questo aspetto. B&B molto grazioso e curato nei minimi dettagli. Ottima la pulizia e l'ospitalità di Camilla che ci ha fornito anche i cuscini gonfiabili per lo spettacolo all'arena. Perfetta la posizione, proprio a 1 passo dall'arena. Già in memoria per la prossima uscita a Verona!

È la seconda volta che scelgo questo bed and breakfast a Verona e devo dire che ci tornerei ancora volentieri per l'accoglienza, la pulizia e la vicinanza all'Arena. Una struttura completa di tutto. Il prezzo non proprio economico ma ci sta tutto in quanto vicinissima all'Arena.

Se potessi darei più di 10 stelle. La proprietaria signora Camilla molto simpatica e disponibile. Ci ha dato parecchi consigli utili per visitare la città. Il B&B è al centro e dalla finestra della camera più piccola si ammira l'arena, posizione ideale anche per chi deve assistere a spettacoli o concerti. Ci torneremo.

Buongiorno signor Benincasa, mi scuso nel ritardo della risposta alla sua recensione, ma per un problema di natura tecnica, non avevo potuto visualizzarla prima. Nella nostra struttura sono disponibili, come spiegato nella nostra presentazione, due diverse sistemazioni, una in B&B che prevede il servizio di prima colazione, e una in un appartamento indipendente, completo di cucina, dove non è previsto il servizio di prima colazione (come previsto dalla normativa), ma dove, per un maggiore confort dei nostri ospiti, lasciamo sempre a disposizione te, caffè e zucchero. Al momento della prenotazione lei ha riservato questa sistemazione, ecco perché non ha ricevuto la colazione. Il portale da cui ha effettuato la prenotazione, prevede l'inserzione sia di semplici stanze, che di stanze con colazione e case vacanza. Grazie e buona giornata, Camilla.

La finestra sull'Arena è assolutamente deliziosa e incantevole, in pieno centro, veramente ad un passo dall'Arena e dal cielo. Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti e 3 giorni occupando l'intera struttura e apprezzando quindi tutto ciò che offre. Se nell'appartamento, ampio, comodo e confortevole, si può godere la città immersi nel piacevole vociare dell'animato via vai cittadino, nella suite in mansarda, un vero e proprio gioiello, ci si ritrova invece in una postazione privilegiata da cui vivere Verona con le sue serate in musica e le notti stellate. Assolutamente da consigliare. Sperando in una prossima occasione, un sincero ringraziamento a Camilla per la sua cortesia e l'amabile disponibilità.

Appartamento a 20 metri dall'Arena di Verona. Il soggiorno con un tavolo, 2 divani e la tv è molto carino, spazioso e confortevole, mentre la cucina è forse un troppo piccola e magari da rimodernare ma va comunque bene per brevi soggiorni (noi abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte). Le 2 camere matrimoniali sono di dimensioni un po' ridotte ma nel complesso nella loro semplicità sono comode. Il bagno è un po' piccolo ma c'è tutto quello che può servire. Oltre alla posizione fantastica punto di forza è la proprietaria, la signora Camilla che è super gentile e disponibile.

Nel centro di Verona, più in centro di così non si poteva, a 50 mt dall'Arena, alloggio confortevole, arredato con intelligenza, vista spettacolare, proprietaria gentilissima, colazione super anche per chi, come mia moglie, è celiaco. Lo consiglio a tutti, valevano la pena anche le scale poco adatte ad anziani ma dalla mansarda sembra di toccare con un dito il cielo e con un altro l'Arena.

Purtroppo siamo stati solo una notte, il B&B ci ha conquistato! Vicinissimo all'Arena, bellissima struttura, proprietaria gentilissima e cordiale, ma soprattutto più che un B&B sembrava di aver affittato un appartamento. Avevamo moltissimo spazio a disposizione, è stato tutto perfetto! Lo consiglio vivamente, il prezzo è proporzionato alla struttura e al servizio. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Abbiamo alloggiato nella suite mansardata, un paradiso. Anche perché ci son parecchi scalini per arrivarci, ma ne vale la pena. Camilla è disponibilissima, ci ha raccontato un po' di aneddoti sulla città e ci ha consigliato un elenco di locali in cui mangiare. L'angolo lettura è sfruttabile anche solo per un po' di relax, il bagno non grandissimo è ben organizzato con vasca idromassaggio e doccia. L'unico problema si potrebbe avere in caso di persone molto alte, in alcuni punti si rischia di prendere una testata.

Eravamo presso l'appartamento all'ultimo piano. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. L'appartamento è molto bello, la vista è bellissima (si vede la parte più alta dell'Arena di Verona). La posizione è magnifica (è a 100 metri dall'Arena) e la casa è molto funzionale. I signori Camilla e Massimo sono gentilissimi, cordiali ed estremamente professionali. Consiglio assolutamente di soggiornare presso questa struttura.

Grazie alla signora Camilla e famiglia per averci ospitato. Abbiamo vissuto un'emozione unica per aver visto e ascoltato ben due volte il concerto di Eros Ramazzotti all'Arena di Verona.
