Our recent stay at B&B La Volta on Via Magenta Street in Carrara was spectacular! This charming property, nestled between the majestic mountains and the serene Tyrrhenian Sea, provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable holiday. The location of B&B La Volta is simply unbeatable. The property offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, creating a peaceful and picturesque setting. Being so close to the sea, we enjoyed the best of both worlds – the tranquillity of the mountains and the refreshing sea breeze. B&B La Volta served as an ideal base for our escapades throughout Tuscany. We easily travelled to iconic destinations such as Florence, Pisa, Montepulciano, Arezzo, and Siena. We even made a day trip to Rome, an incredible experience. Carrara is a gem, as is its charming old town and famous marble quarries. The Cava di Marmo and the Cava Museo are must-visit attractions that offer a fascinating glimpse into the region's rich history and heritage. Food lovers will be delighted by the dining options nearby. We had some of the best pizza at Pizzeria Da Dieghino, a cosy spot that quickly became our favourite. The Panetteria Pasticceria Dazzi Mario Giorgio also offered delicious pastries and baked goods we enjoyed. The food at these local establishments was not only delectable but also very affordable – even cheaper than what we would pay by the Polish Sea! Travelling as a family of four, we found B&B La Volta incredibly accommodating. The property offers ample parking, which made our stay even more convenient. The host, Rosella, was exceptionally kind and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

I had a great time at the Bed & Breakfast La Volta. I got an absolutely clean, quiet and tastefully furnished room. There is a pretty garden you can use with deck chairs and parasols and a little pool, too little to swim, but big enough to refresh yourself. And a table with parasol, where you can work (there is WiFi in the garden too). The hostess Rossella is the best and kindest you can imagine. She did all she could to let me feel at home. At the end of my stay she even provided me with food and drinks for the journey. Thank you very much, Rossella.

The structure is very nice with parking space for each room and large outdoor spaces. The manager is friendly and helpful for anything. It does not have a breakfast room but a breakfast corner in each room replenished every three days.

Rossella and Roberto were very kind, she was always present, attentive to the special needs that the customer may have. I rated the facility an 8 only because there is no TV for logistical reasons and in the rooms we stayed in, the bed is a standard 1.90m, while being tall we prefer the 2m one; but otherwise it is a well-kept and well-maintained structure. And such a considerate and friendly host is hard to come by. She makes you feel at home. Thank you very much. Barbara and Roberta.

The house and garden are beautiful, cleanliness and order prevail. The property has everything needed for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The host is fantastic, kind, always ready to meet the customer's needs, available for a chat, but always absolutely discreet. The furnished garden and the small pool make the stay even more enjoyable. The cleanliness is impeccable, everywhere, even in the common areas. You need a car to go to the sea, but there is also a bus service not far from the property. What can I say, I highly recommend it especially to couples who want to treat themselves to a small bucolic vacation, in silence, embraced by the delicacy and kindness of the landlady. The value for money is excellent. I will definitely come back.

B&B La Volta is exceptional. It is cute, well-kept, comfortable, and welcoming. We felt at home. The pool for children is more than enough to cool off. The lawn with sun loungers doesn't make you miss the sea and the beach. We spent 15 wonderful days. Our room had a mini kitchen. We often ate in the garden in the evening, accompanied by the sound of the bells. Truly, it is highly recommended.

Beautiful place in a palace with garden, pool, chairs, and sun loungers available for guests. Internal parking. A few minutes from Carrara and Marina di Carrara. Also a good starting point to visit the Cinque Terre and the marble quarries. The managers are extremely helpful, present, and have helped me in many ways. Excellent advice on where to eat and what to see. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back soon.

The wonderful building has a lovely garden with outdoor shaded tables for lunch and dinner. There are also sun loungers with umbrellas available. The room, very cozy, and the bathroom were spotless. The kindness and attentions of Rossella, the owner, exceeded all expectations. We arrived by train and Rossella immediately made herself available to pick us up at the station. Not far from the B&B, there is the service of the Tuscan bus lines: with the L52 bus you can reach the sea and the runs are frequent (every 10 minutes). Also with the bus, you can reach Carrara in a few minutes.

Beautiful structure, far from the city chaos but excellently connected by public transport. The owners are disarmingly welcoming, Mrs. Rossella perfect host attentive to all needs, even though we find in the rooms everything needed for an ideal and relaxing stay. At the foot of the Carrara marble quarries, a fascinating and unique location. I used this short stay for work needs, I really felt at home even though I was quite far away.
