La Locanda dell’Accademia is a warm and cozy Guesthouse, consisting of two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms. Run by a young couple, is located in a historic building from 1400 in the heart of Florence. Its location is ideal to spend an unforgettable stay in Florence.

Just in front of the Academy Museum and a few steps from the Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo of Florence, which you can admire from the windows. At La Locanda dell’Accademia hospitality at a low cost is the watchword.

We have restored this Guesthouse with care, love and color! Following our philosophy of life based on great attention to ecology and ethics of the products that we use. The passion for travel has inspired the creation of the La Locanda dell’Accademia, a place where people can feel at ease and happy to live their stay in Florence.

This was great value, but there were a few negatives. The mattress was too soft and a bit uncomfortable. Also it was very hot when I stayed so I had to keep the window open at night, but as there are mosquitoes I had to then burn mosquito coils. I think mosquitoes are likely a problem in this whole part of Florence, as there were so many different mosquito repellents in the shops. But it would have been nice to get a warning about the mosquitoes, or have something provided in case you are caught unawares and the shops are closed. Another thing to be aware of is that the street outside gets very noisy during the day due to the line of people queuing up for the Accademia. Also there are buskers playing outside to take advantage of the queue. Not an issue if you are going to be out all day though. Generally everything was fine and as promised, and the location was safe and convenient.

A nice place in the very heart of Florence. Very good value for money! Some stuff for breakfast is provided even if it is not a B&B.

This place was perfect for our 4 day stay in Florence! It’s right across the street from the accademia and about a 7 min walk from the Duomo and city center. Perfect location! The hosts were always so quick to respond to questions and had everything ready for us for when we arrived. The ONLY downside was that you have to walk up 3 flights to the apartment. It made it a little difficult with luggage and tiring after walking all day. But other than that it was perfect!

If you want a well priced, fairly simple place to stay in a good location opposite the Accademia then this is for you! There are 6 flights of stairs up to the apartment which has 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a small kitchen area with a washing machine. Federica, the owner, was very helpful and friendly.

Very well-maintained structure down to the smallest details, extremely helpful manager in accommodating unexpected needs as well. Perfect location for tourists visiting this beautiful city. Recommended and we will return.

Molto consigliata. La casa è fornita di piccole comodità, come caffè, zucchero, tovaglioli, prodotti per l'igiene, utili quando si viaggia per pochi giorni e si vuole avere un bagaglio leggero. L'unico avvertimento è che ci sono due piani di scale abbastanza ripide.

Camera grande, luminosa e quello che mi è piaciuto di più era il letto perché il materasso è comodo. Per me fondamentale. Ho preso camera con bagno privato, l’unica pecca è che il bagno non è dentro la camera. Federica è stata molto gentile, tutto sommato bene.

Sonia ci ha accolto al nostro arrivo offrendosi anche di aiutarci con le valigie (ci sono 3 piani di scale) ed è stata disponibile nel consegnarci la camera anche prima dell'orario previsto. Super gentili, posizione fantastica di fronte alle gallerie dell'accademia! Camera spaziosa (noi eravamo in 4) e con il soffitto alto, un po' fresca la camera, ma probabilmente anche per un cambio di temperatura un pò imprevisto. La cucina a disposizione era fornita di tutto il necessario, sia per la colazione (cereali, Biscotti the caffè) che per una cena in casa. Grazie! Faremo super pubblicità, anzi già fatta! A presto!

Posizione impeccabile praticamente al centro vicinissima a tutte le attrazioni principali di Firenze. Camera spaziosa e pulita! Federica è stata gentilissima dall'inizio e la collaboratrice Sonia idem nel salutarci. Se tornassi a Firenze sicuramente tornerei alla locanda dell'Accademia!

Compromesso perfetto per una mini vacanza! Qualità-prezzo eccellente e proprietaria super disponibile ed alla mano. Essendo una studentessa-lavoratrice ho trovato in questa soluzione l’accordo perfetto tra i miei bisogni e i miei comfort. Insomma, mi sono trovata benissimo! A pochi passi da qualsiasi cosa.. ottimo! Ha reso la mia esperienza a Firenze ancora più perfetta. Nessun difetto da rimarcare! Proprietaria disponibilissima anche per i bagagli, che siamo riuscite a tenere in casa fino a poco prima di partire! TOP!
