Agriturismo Sant'Ansano

We had a wonderful time here. Spacious, great breakfast, nice pool and spectacular view over the Tuscan hills.

This is just off the Via Francigena. What a perfect place to stop for the night before the tough trek to Radicofani.

Amazing host, superb location! Right in the middle of it all.

There were live cockroaches in the bathroom.

Very nice establishment, well managed by a very friendly person. Very pleasant and clean pool. Comfortable and well-equipped accommodation.

A stay filled with magic in this agriturismo! The location is enchanting, but what made my stay truly special was the warm and genuine hospitality of Federica. The breakfast was a real dream! I highly recommend this agriturismo to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing experience.

Great well-organized, clean accommodation in a strategic location. The host Federica was very helpful and kind. I will return in the summer because I want to use the pool and the barbecue. See you soon, Fede!

In September of this year, we decided to celebrate our anniversary with a short stay in the splendid Val d’Orcia. As soon as we arrived, we immediately breathed a family atmosphere with the warm welcome from Federica who made us feel at home in a landscape context of unique beauty and rare tranquility. A major strength of this structure is the utmost attention given to the customer's needs. The breakfast, to say the least spectacular, is prepared with fresh products from the territory, then the delicious homemade cakes by Federica are a treat to start the day off right. The rooms are spacious with characteristic Tuscan furnishings, comfortable and clean. The Agriturismo is situated in a strategic location to visit the whole Val d’Orcia with the precious advice from Federica who, with her kindness, sympathy, and empathy, knows how to create a good relationship with her guests. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this Agriturismo Sant'Ansano! Everything was beautiful, from the welcome to the quality of service. The owners, Federica and Leo, are fantastic, they make you feel at home. The breakfasts are excellent, full of homemade products. Additionally, there is a pool, essential for relaxing during hot summer days. Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect place! The owner welcomed us with extreme kindness and hospitality, also giving us advice on where to eat and what to visit. Extraordinary location with this dream pool, where you can relax, not to mention the breakfast, all prepared by Federica herself! Excellent, we will definitely come back!

Beautiful structure located in the open countryside in the splendid hills of Val d'Orcia. Very nice and kind owner.

Spectacular Agriturismo in the heart of Val d'Orcia. Just a few minutes from all the renowned thermal resorts and beautiful villages like Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Quirico, Monticchiello. Nice, clean and very well-maintained structure, surrounded by the typical wheat fields of the area. Nice swimming pool available for guests and magnificent breakfast served in the common room buffet with a rich variety of choices where homemade cakes abound. Always welcoming, available and friendly, Federica. Magical place!

I might be biased, being a lover of Val d'Orcia, but this place is a paradise. Immersed in breathtaking landscapes, in complete silence, with truly well-kept apartments and a more than abundant and excellent breakfast. Not far from the various nearby villages, which is why having your own means of transport is definitely recommended, but nice precisely for this reason, because it is immersed in nature. Very nice place, away from the world. Absolute tranquility, clean, very kind landlady. Really interesting value for money.

We were guests (husband and wife) unfortunately for only two days. Unfortunately because the area and the structure deserved a longer period. Panoramic position in the middle of Val D'Orcia, we did not use the pool, but only because of the external temperature. There is a fully equipped kitchenette. Federica was very kind and helpful from the first phone contact. Definitely a place to return to.

We are currently still in apartment Casina. We were warmly welcomed with a delicious bottle of wine from the family itself. A beautiful, simple apartment next to the pool with the most beautiful view you could wish for. From the terrace or lawn in front of you, you can see the beautiful landscape of Val d'Orcia every day, even after 14 days this still does not get boring and we enjoy it every day. In fact, I am in love with it, so beautiful! The apartment is small and simple but has everything you need. Bedroom/living room with bed, bedside tables, dining table with 2 chairs, wardrobe, and air conditioning. Kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, and everything you need to make light meals. Separate shower/toilet (for tall people it might be a bit tight) everything is super clean. And from time to time they ask if you need additional cleaning, towels, toilet paper, or coffee. The breakfast is delicious. You get your eggs cooked the way you like, coffee is brought to you, and there is a table full of goodies every day in an Italian style, lots of sweets (often homemade) but also cold cuts, cheese, fruit, and various types of yogurt. Federica and Cecilia do everything to make you feel comfortable but they are not pushy, they are very kind. Cecilia speaks English fairly well, and Federica a bit, and with our limited Italian we had a lot of fun together. They definitely made this holiday fantastic! Highly recommend renting a Vespa here or, like we did, a Fiat 500, super fun! Osteria Dell'Orcia is a nice chic restaurant (not cheap) to eat at. San Quirico is a very nice village nearby where you can eat very well and it's very cozy. Pienza is also a beautiful and nice place to visit and not far. Siena and Perugia are larger cities but definitely worth a visit. Bagni San Filippo is very beautiful and worth a visit, we were there early and in the preseason because it can get very crowded. But above all, drive around in this beautiful landscape and feast your eyes! If I have to mention a negative thing, it's the flies, but they do everything here, organic spraying, screens, and fly curtains. Federica and Cecilia thank you very much for this fantastic holiday.
