The best accommodation in our tour. Fresh breakfast made to order. We can get a discount for the Cinque Terre card, this helps a lot. Easy to reach the station and the center. Free cold water good for the heat.

The very small room was very small. Haha! That is literally the only bad thing I can say, and I bought it as advertised. The location was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they were truly wonderful. Breakfast included on the rooftop was delicious and plentiful, not just continental but fresh omelet or crepe or waffle with yogurt, beautiful fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juices, cappuccino to order. Monterosso was the most beautiful of the CinqueTerre, in my opinion, and the Blue Trail hike to Vernazza was stunning. The free beach was lovely, and so many wonderful bars, restaurants, shops, so many good choices! Highly recommended!

Loved this unique hotel. Such relaxed and efficient hosts. Helped us book Cinque Terre train tickets with a great discount. Breakfast was cooked to order and plentiful. Great location. Room was spotless with a little balcony.

This hotel is probably the best kept Seder of Cirque Terra, it is very charming, the front desk help was top notch and the access to everything got the job done. We were so lucky to book this and we'll definitely book again if/when we come back to the area.

It was probably the most beautiful stay of the whole vacation. The staff is incredibly warm and courteous. We had a great room with balcony and there is a lot of love in the Hotel Marina. I would especially like to thank the hosts for their great helpfulness and warm manner. I recommend this great hotel to everyone. Greetings from Hamburg.

The room was a bit small but served our purpose. Excellent service and friendly host, enjoyed the pesto tasting with wine and had an excellent meal at their restaurant. Appreciated free luggage transport to the station and the bread for the journey. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay here in early April; the staff was so welcoming and friendly, and the grounds/room were perfect for me. The room was large, comfortable, clean and relatively modern - I had a great night's sleep! I especially loved having breakfast under the lemon trees each morning. Speaking of the breakfast, it was amazing!\nThere was a large spread of everything you could have asked for, including a made-to-order omelette and crepe bar.\n\nOne thing to point out - the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Not a big deal at all (and you can easily get a taxi if you have too much luggage), but worth pointing out so you can plan accordingly. The train is super easy to navigate, so you can get from town to town in the Cinque Terre. Although Monterosso is at the far end of the Cinque Terre, it was still convenient to get around.

We spent two weeks traveling between Italy and Germany, and this was by far, without a doubt, our favorite place we stayed. It was the epitome of Italy - such an adorable, friendly place to stay with truly amazing food (breakfast was beyond my wildest dreams delicious, all in a scenic garden). In addition, the rooms were lovely, AC worked well, and the location was great. There are very few places you can stay in Cinque Terre that have minimal stairs to get to and/or within, but this is one of them. Other than 2-3 steps at the entrance, you can get there from the train station without any additional steps and there’s an elevator inside (except for the top floor) so getting luggage in wasn’t an issue at all. I really loved this place and have raved about it to everyone I know, I only hope I can return for another trip again!

Do yourself a favour and stay here if going to Monterosso. It's a family-owned hotel with family service but has been modernised. The rooms are a little small but given the location you won't spend much time there. They have all that is needed, however, the air conditioning is great, they are super clean, and there is a lift, etc. What sets this place apart is the extras you get. The crepes and omelettes for breakfast on the lemon terrace are outstanding, the free pasta and wine tasting at lunch at their restaurant a nice extra and the drinks on the terrace in the evening a great way to meet fellow travellers. The location is awesome in the middle of the old town. The staff are all very friendly and can't do enough to help you, and Marina herself goes out of her way to be helpful. If I ever go back to this beautiful area, this is the place I will stay.

Wonderful Hotel Marina! Perfect location - Far enough out to be quiet but a 30-second walk to the shops and restaurants. Host and staff are amazing! So kind and caring. Beautiful, spacious, and very clean rooms. Breakfast was brilliant with freshly made omelettes or crepes made to order. 10/10, can't recommend this hotel enough.

This is a beautiful place to stay and enjoy Cinque Terre. The Host is 10/10 with excellent service, a beautiful property and warm welcome. We walked up the hill to be greeted by complimentary wine and afternoon tea in the vineyard and received excellent hospitality throughout our week in Monterosso. It is an excellent location for travellers with the peace and tranquillity to relax in the winery at the end of each day's touring. A short walk down the hill and you are in the heart of Monterosso with a large number of excellent Italian restaurants for dinner each evening. We would highly recommend this delightful place and hope to return there again some day.

Unbelievable stay. So warm and welcoming. The owners are amazing. The food and offerings of wine and drinks never ended! I don’t know how they make any money given what they happily offer you. We recently stayed here during a trip to Italy. Staff were very friendly and helpful with inquiries and recommended things to see and arranging a taxi for us when we were leaving.\n\nOur room was clean, comfortable, and spacious and had a cute little balcony. Beds were comfy and the room was light and airy.\n\nThe rooftop lemon garden was a beautiful location for breakfast and the staff at breakfast were always friendly, welcoming, and cheerful. The staff would prepare eggs whichever you liked and there was a vast array of fresh ingredients if you wanted an omelette or if you fancied something sweet, crepes cooked with whatever filling you liked. The cakes and pastries, fresh fruit, and yogurt were also delicious.\n\nOne morning it was raining and the chef grabbed a market umbrella to shelter us from the rain while walking along the path to the rooftop garden. We were really overwhelmed by him going to such great lengths to look after us.\n\nIt was a lovely experience and we felt really welcome. It's in a lovely location set just back from the main square, with some beautiful views. Their customer service was excellent and the staff are to be commended.

Tucked in a quiet side street in Monterosso, this was the perfect spot for us. Literally meters away from Old Town shops and dining but quiet during the night. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast on the rooftop patio was an excellent experience including made-to-order omelettes and crepes. We wish we could have stayed longer in Monterosso. Only issue with the hotel was wifi connection in the rooms. It was excellent in the lobby. An added bonus was the complimentary pesto tasting just down the street. We will return!

Top-notch welcome! Marina and her husband are charming and do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are perfect and so is the breakfast. Enjoy the nice warm crepes and the omelettes. The young man at the reception who speaks French is also very friendly. We highly recommend this hotel. The Lemon Garden is a very enjoyable moment of calm and relaxation.

Very kind, professional and friendly staff. Clean, bright and functional shabby chic style rooms. Breakfast, served in the delightful lemon house, very good, well presented and with a wide choice. Excellent location in a quiet area. Agreement with a very close restaurant where we had a very good dinner. Many different activities organized by the structure (we opted for the canoe trip with guide and aperitif based on prosecco and handmade pesto bruschettas). Much appreciated the dispenser of cold and room temperature water available for all guests at the side of the reception. The stay was definitely positive and relaxing. Highly recommended hotel!

Excellent location. Very clean. Bathroom a bit small but with excellent shower. Super breakfast, also suitable for vegans. Very kind staff. The plus are the additional services: extraordinary breakfast (unbeatable even in hotels with more stars), provision of towels and beach bag, umbrella for free beach, free lunch "pesto taste" at the restaurant by Eraldo, possibility of shower before departure (towels rental available on request).

I spent five days, with my girlfriend, in this property, which we found thanks to this website: it was a great stroke of luck! First of all, the value for money is really excellent. The room was actually a bit small, but we had been warned and above all it was not a problem for us at all: the room is still well finished, aesthetically beautiful and equipped with everything necessary (air conditioning, refrigerator, many shelves to put things - also in the bathroom - and even a beach bag with two beach towels, really useful). Also worth mentioning is the welcome and kindness of the staff: starting from the owner, Marina, and her husband, Eraldo, ending with Albert, the reception boy, and the breakfast girls. All very helpful, ready to give us advice and answer all our questions thoroughly. We felt very good on a human level, so much so that we almost felt attached. But the highlight is breakfast: every morning the idea of going to eat in that garden surrounded by greenery filled with all that good food made me jump out of bed. To say that it's abundant is an understatement: lots of pastries, pies, cakes, but also fruit, yogurt, tigelline (which I always share with stracchino and cooked ham), croissants (to be garnished with various jams or Nutella), the possibility of having omelettes or stuffed crepes prepared on the spot. In addition fruit juices, and other drinks available through the appropriate machine.

I stayed with a friend for two days in Monterosso and we had a great time! Hotel Marina is cute and comfortable, and the staff is helpful and very kind.

Really very nice place and in an optimal position. The breakfast in the lemon house is very pleasant and relaxing. The staff is very kind. Recommended for a romantic getaway.

Small and very nice hotel just a few steps from the sea and located in the center of Old Monterosso. Helpful and kind staff, I suggest having dinner at their restaurant not far from the hotel, a real delight.

Hotel Marina in a great location, clean and comfortable rooms, the staff is really helpful in everything, from the owner to the reception guy who is truly nice. If I were to come back to the 5 Lands, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
