B&B Villa Liburnia of Livorno

The location is nice, but there are some issues. The air conditioners are severely restricted by the owners. They cannot cool below 24 degrees and they automatically turn off after 15 minutes. In other words, there is essentially no air conditioning. Furthermore, you have to pay extra for the use of a refrigerator. The owners come to adjust the refrigerator in your room to a lower setting every day without asking. Lastly, the breakfast is disappointing. They only serve one butter cake per person and some stale bread. It's quite saddening.

I usually start my replies with "thank you for being our guests" but unfortunately that's not the case..these guests turned up with a car FULL of fire weapons (it turns out they were snipers participating to a local competition). They decided to literally chain all the heavy suitcases containing the weapons on the new foster bed, ruining it all. The air conditioning is last generation Daikin and our guests can adjust all features on their own with the remote control, so i don't exactly know what they meant (by the way at night there were 17C). I am sorry they didnt'like breakfast, but since it was not included, they could have had it somewhere else instead of having us prepare it one hour before the usual breakfast time range time just for them for all week. The rooms don't have a fridge and they knew it before making a reservation, so I was just kind enough to provide it to them...and,by the way, they ended up NOT paying a single € for it...since they were not having breakfast the last morning I didn t take anything for the fridge... Last but not least, their "farewell thank you" at 5 am consisted in turning on our PRIVATE and EXPENSIVE coffe machine (without asking), preparing themselves cappuccino and coffee. Unfortunately, since they had no idea how to use the machine, they ended up damaging it and leaving it out of order (they didn't even bother to swich it back off) , with dirty cups left all over the breakfast room...needless to say that thanks to their "polite behaviour" none of our guests could have a coffee that morning, and that costed us money and unease. If I could assign votes to guests, for sure I would say 1.

On the outskirts of Livorno with a beautiful view of the city, harbor, and coast. Plenty of parking but access to the property is not very easy, especially at night. There is a ramp to access a room designed for disabled people. This is the room we chose as it was easier for my husband to move around. Breakfast is included with a nice selection of food. We arrived late at the property (around 8 pm) due to the fact that the ferry from Palermo arrived an hour later than scheduled. The manager did not seem to know we had reserved a room for that night. The next morning she was very pleasant with us. The price for the room, amenities, and breakfast is quite affordable.

This property mainly relies on the magnificent view. The rooms are furnished without love, the bed of poor quality and the hospitality leaves something to be desired (the message via the portal was not answered; then came the reproach, we should have called. Also otherwise the communication was rather negative, first all the indications followed on what is not possible and what one cannot do).

We spent part of our summer vacation here. We were completely satisfied! The rooms are spacious, the pool of the house is wonderful for relaxing and cooling off. Villa Liburnia is located above Livorno with a very beautiful sea view and dreamy sunsets, yet you can reach the city center or the city beach in about 10 minutes. The breakfast is rich and varied, and is served according to your preference in your own terrace garden or by the pool. Being a family-run business, responsibilities are also divided. The organizational part is mostly taken care of by Ramona, while Luca is usually the direct contact person on site. We also owe him the wonderful dinners we had every evening. He always had great tips for us and was always very keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. For example, he organized Stand-Up Paddle sessions for us at sunset or gave us tips for our evening outings. The location of the Villa offers many possibilities (Pisa, Florence, Livorno, Lucca). All in all, an absolutely recommended accommodation for both short stays, for example while waiting for the ferry, and for longer periods.

Beautiful and always clean apartment, a pity for not being able to use the pool due to Covid-related rules. Although the manager came to meet us by always giving us fresh water and supported us in supplying ice thermal packs, not having a fridge in the room (only available for a fee) has caused some inconveniences.

Grazie per essere stati nostri ospiti, che la pisciana è chiusa è chiaramente scritto sul profilo, e anche la mail molto dettagliata che invio extra per chiarezza non la menziona tra le cose incluse. Senza contare che abbiamo scelto di mantenere le tariffe di BASSA stagione anche in alta proprio per quello! Per quanto riguarda la colazione non vedo cosa potrei aggiungere oltre a fette biscottate, nutella, marmellata, biscotti, cornetto, merindina, frutta, caffè, the, e succo di frutta per i bimbi.non ci è venuto in mente nient altro di non deperibile da poter far trovare già in camera, Se ha consigli dica pure che sono sempre ben accetti in questo momento di in cui abbiamo dovuto stravolgere completamente la gestione ed adattarci a tutte le difficili restiezioni che ci sono state imposte! Speriamo di avervi come graditi ospiti in futuro quando potremo tornare alla normalità (ma ovviamente il prezzo non sarà quello quello di cortesia pagato quest anno) Buona giornata.

The B&B Villa Liburnia is very welcoming, functional, and spotlessly clean. Having to find a "downside", the pool usage hours are a bit difficult to manage because the pool does not have a restroom available, so until 4:30 PM (check-in time), it cannot be used, and on the morning of departure, it can only be used until 11 AM (check-out time) for the same reason. Furthermore, Ramona was very clear on this point from the first phone calls, so no surprises upon arrival.

We stayed the night between Easter and Easter Monday, we had a great time. The room is very spacious and well furnished, with a spectacular sea view. The owners' advice on where to eat was precious, and they were very helpful. Varied and plentiful breakfast. We will definitely come back!

I stayed with my husband for two nights. The room is large with essential furnishings but equipped with air conditioning. The bathroom has a small window and is a bit dark. Towels were not provided for both of us, also there was no hairdryer. The pool is beautiful and the pizza dinner by the pool is good. The breakfast is basic with some sweets but no savory items. Curzio, one of the owners, is very nice, always available, and generous with advice. If you stay for more than one night, the room is not cleaned and I consider this service failure unacceptable given the price paid. This is the first time it has happened to us as we are rather frequent B&B guests.

Volevo ringraziarla per essere stata nostra ospite e per aver trovato il tempo di lasciarci una recensione positiva, tuttavia ci tengo a puntualizzare un paio di cose perchè magari un lettore esterno potrebbe aver interpretato erroneamente le sue parole: La Villa è stata costruita ex nuovo 5 anni fa, quindi l arredamento è nuovo e moderno, definirlo essenziale non mi sembra l aggettivo più corretto visto che c è un letto king size, due comodini con luce da lettura, una scrivania con cassetti e sedia, TV a schermo piatto, un armadio a 3 ante con 3 cassetti, uno specchio intero, un divano a 3 posti con tappeto e tavolino da caffè, una lunga mensola alla parete, due set di tende, e lampadario, più ovviamente il bagno..anche volendo non vedo cosa avremmo potuto aggiungere in 35mq. Finestra del bagno 90x75 non la definirei proprio piccola..Gli asciugamani erano sul letto, due grandi doccia, e due medi mani in bagno. L' asciugacapelli nel casetto dell armadio.In ogni caso bastava chiedere, cosi come avete fatto per i cuscini extra, e vi avremmo mostrato dove erano. Le camere vengono rifatte ogni 3 giorni, ma se serve un cambio di asciugamani o che altro basta chiedere che provvediamo. Vi ringrazio ancora per averci scelto pre il vostro soggiorno se periamo di avervi nuovamente come nostri graditi ospiti.

The property is in a fantastic location, surrounded by greenery with a sea view. It has a very large garden where children can play freely, equipped with toys. We had a great time! The management is very friendly and helpful, they gave us a fantastic tip about the beaches, indicating one where the wind was not blowing, so we could wear our swimsuits, while elsewhere it was very uncomfortable due to the wind. As for the breakfast, they could do better, but everything was good. The issue is that I don't like sweet things for breakfast, and there was no other choice.

We stayed for six days with my husband and our two children, Riccardo and Tecla. The villa is splendid and has a lot of green space where the children enjoyed playing. Relax, silence, courtesy, and friendliness are the winning words for this structure with a sea view and proximity to many cities. Many thanks to Ramona and Curizio who advised us on places to visit and restaurants (Le Tre Civette in Livorno, excellent quality/price) as if we were their relatives.

It is located just outside Livorno in a panoramic area, very convenient to the center and the port, less than 10 minutes. The structure is new and welcoming, the rooms are large. I would highly recommend it. Oh, I forgot, there is also a nice swimming pool.

I stayed at Villa Liburnia on my way back from vacation in Sardinia since the ferry from Olbia arrived late. I booked at the last minute and without knowing the structure, finding it by chance on the internet. I was with my family (husband and two children) and a family of friends (two adults and two children). We had a great time: the rooms are large, clean, well-furnished, the breakfast is abundant and served in the garden. There is access to the pool, sun loungers and umbrellas. The hospitality of the managers is delightful, so much so that we stayed until lunchtime enjoying the pool all morning before leaving for home. If you pass through Livorno, it is worth relaxing at Villa Liburnia, we found it very good.
