Other notes
Just 100 meters away, the Schalet Restaurant, which has an agreement with the hotel, offers a rich menu with a wide choice of seafood, of land and pizzas. We assure you: excellent cuisine, abundant dishes and cheap price!
The hotel has a private parking with special agreement, just 100 meters away, where you can leave your car and easily visit the city. Cost of € 25.00 per day.
The room was clean, everything went smoothly with check-in and the best thing was that it had an AC, close to the train station literally 5 minutes away.
The rooms are small and are not located in the same building as the reception. There is a lot of noise during the night. However, they are very clean and close to the central station.
I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Demò. The location is near Milan central station, and it was super convenient. I reached earlier and they accommodated my early check-in request. The hotel itself is really nice and the price was definitely worth it. Highly recommend for a great stay.
The entrance to Hotel Demò, as shown in the photos, is very good. However, access to the room is difficult, having to go through narrow corridors, several doors, cross a dark courtyard to the building next door, with stairs to access a tiny elevator, without lighting. On arrival to the assigned room floor, again no lighting, and doors to open. In the dark, carrying suitcases. Reasonable room. Nice breakfast. Excellent service at check-in and check-out.
The hotel was definitely in need of some serious updates. Our window shutters could not open, so the room was quite dark. The pillows were very small, the bathroom had an odd layout and a broken toilet-paper holder. The toilet seat cover was awkwardly positioned at a 40-degree angle making it very uncomfortable. The shower wasn't great. The stuffing of the chairs was coming out on the sides. It was only 23 degrees outside but it was very hot inside, the AC did not cool the room down sufficiently (even when put at 17 degrees). There was no small fridge provided either. All in all, really only stay here if you need to stay for one night, close to the station, because this really isn't good.
The entrance looks fancy, but after the door opened, it is just an old apartment. The corridor was dark and dirty. I was so scared to walk there. Room was clean and nice, but I could hear the sound from the bathroom next door. The location was amazing.
I was very disappointed because I had booked a double room and was given a single room. My daughter also had to buy another room in the same Hotel Demò.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room is in a different building from the reception hall. It is small and full of washing powder smell. The ventilation is horrible, super loud. The shower is so small that there is no place to put shower gel, etc. The worst part is that the neighborhood is super noisy, with people moving furniture, talking loudly, and shouting at 3 am, which prevents falling asleep again. The weirdest thing is, the host can charge the accommodation fee by card, but they only accept cash for the city tax. And if you insist on paying the city tax by card too, they will charge you extra for that.
Travelling from the United Kingdom to Greece by train, we needed one night in Milan. We chose Hotel Demò because we needed something close to the station. In fact, our train was late and we did not arrive until 1 am and left at 6.30 am the next day to continue our journey, so we did not exactly test the hotel facilities. On the positive side, it is indeed close to the station. We were reassured by email that being late was not a problem and the reception was open when we arrived. We received a very friendly greeting from the duty manager at the front desk. On the downside, it cost €133 for one night and the room was small. When you need somewhere close to the central station and you are not in control of your arrival time, you should not be surprised that you get a functional, slightly claustrophobic, overpriced hotel. We were grateful for the friendly face at the front desk, a clean bed, and a shower. Breakfast was available at an additional cost.
Quiet room with balcony overlooking an inner courtyard. Excellent bedding and impeccable cleanliness. Very good location. Top address to recommend. I will come back with pleasure.
Great value for money and very central location. Single room with double bed appreciated, has everything that may be needed for a short stay. Only downside is the noise from the cleaning staff as early as 7.30 in the morning.
One of the most terrible experiences of my existence. Hotel under renovation, dusty. Dark room, ants in the room, a corridor with a rusty shower, croissants with dark stains. Not even the bottle of water was good, as when opening the cap it left a thread of sharp plastic among the poorest. The breakfast is unwatchable, the staff is unwatchable.
Reading reviews from other people on various sites, I must admit that I was a bit \"scared\" but my stay was perfect. Impeccable cleanliness of the room, I dropped something behind the bed and when moving it to retrieve it, there was not a speck of dust on the floor or on any surface, the bathroom is quite small, the only flaw is this, but nothing impossible, very kind staff ready to solve any eventuality, I couldn't get the hot water to work and they immediately resolved the issue, I didn't have breakfast because I usually don't have it. Excellent location two minutes from Milan Central Station and Sondrio yellow line metro, area served by pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, tram lines.
The Hotel Demò is located in a convenient location, close to the metro. The staff is kind and friendly. I stayed for 5 nights, without including breakfast fortunately. I was able to check in at any time, but I was not informed about the check-out time, which is at 12, they warned me that I had to leave the room, despite specifying that I wanted to do it in the afternoon. Fortunately, they carefully put my things back in the suitcase and didn't leave anything out. However, I must say that the rest leaves something to be desired. The room they assigned me was extremely small, it seemed like the leftover space to create a single. The bathroom was small, with a low sink and no bidet, despite being listed among the included services. The shower did not have a shelf and you had to bend in a restricted space. Furthermore, the room did not have a mini fridge and the walls seemed to be made of cardboard. I could clearly hear every noise and conversation coming from outside as if they were inside my room. The comfort of the bed, hard mattress and non-existent pillow, was very poor, for most nights I couldn't rest at all, the only positive thing was the working air conditioning for the heat. Despite the Hotel Demò having 3 stars, it is not worth considering the high prices they require for what they offer.
It is not acceptable that in the morning the water is not hot enough to take a shower when waking up: I tried to take one but it was more on the cold side than on the warm side. Sparse breakfast.
The staff was very friendly. The Hotel Demò is located near the train station and metro stop. The room was very small and noises from outside could be heard.
Clean spaces, friendly staff, convenient location near the train station, tram, and bus. Spartan room. Fairly good value for money considering the season and the location.
I recommend the hotel for the value for money. However, I would like to give two pieces of advice: the sheets smelled strongly of naphthalene and I couldn't sleep the first night because of this, maybe airing the rooms more often even if they are little used would be necessary. Another thing, it would be great to renew and replace the blankets and bedspreads. It is noticeable that they have seen a lot and do not invite to rest, I think it would be a small investment that would have a great impact on hospitality.
Hotel Demò located in a strategic position for those arriving by train (3 minutes on foot from the station); friendly, courteous, and helpful staff; clean structure equipped with everything a traveler needs.
The staff is really kind and helpful. They even found me a better accommodation than the one expected (due to an unexpected event). Early check-in and room made available in a very short time.
Room 330 is unacceptable! The bathroom door is broken and torn, the bedspreads are dirty and never ironed, the room is close to the breakfast room where at 4:30 they start preparing and I won't tell you about the annoying noise of the ladies. No minibar, the room's window is closed by scaffolding, never seen a breakfast that offers cheese spread and processed cheese, really something never seen before. Absurd! Avoid it.
Great property, excellent hospitality. Everyone super friendly and kind. Interesting works of art everywhere. Close to the central station and metro. Grocery stores around the corner.
I stayed two nights to go to a concert. Excellent connections as the hotel is located 3 minutes from the central station. Small but clean room. I would have preferred a mini fridge that was missing. It gave me more of a bed and breakfast impression as it was not possible to have lunch or dinner (even though they have an agreement with a nearby restaurant where I did not go). Very kind staff. In particular, Anthony and Alex were extremely helpful, courteous, and always smiling. Highly recommended for those who need a quick stopover for a few days. The price is still excellent given the ease of getting around, with two very close metro stations.
Comfortable structure close to the central station and metro stop, lacks a fridge in the room, the TV had some channel reception issues; otherwise, it has everything you need, such as air conditioning, a safe, and a hairdryer. Abundant self-service breakfast. It would be advisable to pay more attention to maintenance, some electrical outlets and bathroom accessories need to be replaced.
Good cleaning service, fantastic and friendly staff, poor facility. Very uncomfortable and old mattress. Very small room. Although the advertisement said breakfast included, it had to be booked and paid for separately.
Very poor reception, rude staff, we paid 8 euros per person every day for breakfast in advance and found very low-quality coffee and almost nothing else. We requested a vegan breakfast for two people (we were three), and were attacked by being told they don't prepare anything vegan (we had requested it in the customer form and they said they hadn't read it and anyway they don't prepare anything vegan!). They took the money in advance and didn't refund it. There is no parking and we had to pay 75 euros for two days. There is not even a reserved place in front of the structure for customers to unload and load luggage from the car. Poor elevator and stairs.
Great location just a few hundred meters walk from Milano Centrale Railway Station, a delightful, elegant hotel full of works of art, which surprises. Extremely kind and helpful staff, clean rooms equipped with every comfort, including en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and satellite TV. Comfortable beds, and also very convenient the agreement with a restaurant just a few meters from the property, offering plentiful and well-cooked dishes. I highly recommend Hotel Demò for those who want to stay well at affordable prices!

The answer from the host:
Gentile Sign. Massimiliano Romagnoli,
