Our B&B is located a few metres from the seashore at Bari art city, in an area of great archaeological and architectural merit, in the heart of the city nearby Bari Vecchia. "B&B Corte Zeuli" is a prestigious dwelling to conjure up the thrill of the past, a building of the past where the magic of history blends with modern amenities.

The property is really fabulous. An old palace (500 years old) in the middle of the old city with lots of charm. The hosts are a very friendly couple. You feel like a friend. All the food for breakfast is homemade with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit salad, homemade jams, and cookies. The best place in town!

This B&B is one to remember. The location is perfect, the building old and well restored, and the lady of the house and her husband are lovely and very helpful. The house itself feels a bit like a museum because so many items are presented in all of the rooms. Highly recommended when you’re searching for a good feeling and sense of the old town of Bari.

Old-fashioned style, very special, in a 16th-century palace. Paola is a sophisticated lady, a classic, very cultural and interested. Not modern, no design, not hip, but a museum and art gallery. Superb breakfast, all homemade and baked. The most interesting B&B ever.

This place is very special. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits and homemade Italian sweets. We had a beautiful room with a restored ceiling in a historic building in the old city of Bari. The location is great and the hosts are very welcoming, nice, and really helpful. They gave us a lot of tips about the sightseeing of Puglia and historic sights of Bari. Their hospitality is exceptional. The only inconvenience was the loud air conditioning.

Wonderful stay in this historic and atmospheric B&B in the middle of the Bari old city. The room was large with room for four adults (two on a mezzanine level in the room) with a wonderful decorated high ceiling and flower filled balcony overlooking the narrow street outside. Paola was the perfect host, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about Bari. Breakfast was exceptional - a selection of home made cakes, juices and jams. I would highly recommend this B&B to visitors to Bari as a great place to stay for a good value and authentic Italian experience.

This is my first all-10 rating ever. The building dates back to the 1500’s so it was fascinating, in the heart of the old city and near good restaurants, interesting sights and the waterfront. The host is the sweetest woman you can imagine. The breakfasts are all homemade gems (freshly squeezed juice, a beautifully presented array of other fruits, homemade cakes, cookies and pastries (at least a half dozen kinds every day), eggs, coffee, etc. We will never forget this experience and hope we can return. (Some warnings: weak WiFi, no elevator, small shower — it was the 1500’s, after all. But everything else was perfect and every need was satisfied.).

A wonderful place to stay to stay with so much history. Our hosts Paola and Claudio were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed including locating the grave of our relative in Bari War Cemetery. Paola is the perfect hostess serving delicious breakfasts always with her speciality of home made cakes. Our return at the end of the day was greeted with a glass of lemoncello. The house and its contents are extraordinary and it was a privilege to stay in such an historic property. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Here is a B&B that we really love! No concierge here, with codes without real presence. Lovely people and a dream place! Romantic, full of history, very well located in Bari in the historic center. Paola is a person totally devoted to your well-being and will share delightful moments with all the discretion you desire. Paola will spoil you with her breakfast, her offered cakes, her homemade limoncello, just like the cakes. Paola will reward you with her mischievous and generous smile. Eine herzliche Pensionswirtin, die zum Frühstück selbstgebackene Plätzchen und Kuchen serviert, eine absolut zentrale Location in der Altstadt und ein Gebäude aus dem 18. Jhd. sind zusammengefasst die Highlights der Pension. Sehr spezielles Ambiente, nicht für jeden etwas, aber wer es nicht mainstream möchte ist hier richtig. Allerdings nicht zu finden, wenn man nicht fragt.

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft: Sehr herzlich haben uns Paola und ihr Mann in ihrer hochherrschaftlichen und zugleich gemütlichen Wohnung empfangen. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Altstadtgasse wenige Schritte von der Piazza und den beiden Hauptkirchen in einem Palazzo aus dem 15. (?) Jahrhundert. Liebevoll restaurierte Deckenmalereien und Fresken aus dem 16. Jhd., sechs Meter hohe Decken, Balkon (Zimmer Mose), bezaubernder riesiger Frühstückssalon - mit dem liebevollsten Frühstück unserer gesamten Reise. Paola backt hervorragend - und erklärt auch ganz nebenbei, wie sie ihren Limoncello macht, nach dem an einem Abend die ganze Wohnung duftete. Wenn wir wieder nach Bari kommen hoffen wir, dort wieder ein Zimmer zu bekommen.

In the heart of the old city, the days began with a magnificent breakfast, varied and abundant, each day with different pastries freshly baked by Paola. The hosts always cordial and affectionate made us feel at home. The room with its beautiful painted ceilings is large and quiet. The polychrome ceiling makes you feel good every time you wake up. El único problema que si hace mucho calor como tuvimos nosotros, el aire portátil no es suficiente para enfriar la habitación. Por lo demás muy bien.

The experience and authenticity of Bari Vecchia. Staying at B&B Corte Zeuli means savoring a slice of real daily life, welcomed as part of the family. Arriving past midnight due to a flight delay, we are greeted with generous courtesy by the host who takes the trouble to come down to the street and wait for us. Crossing the threshold of this ancient noble palace, we meet Mrs. Paola who, despite the late hour, gives us a warm welcome showing us the frescoed ceilings and walls of the grand salon. The next morning, we have the opportunity to enjoy the excellent and abundant breakfast: cookies, taralli, homemade cakes, fresh juice, fruit salad fill the large table in the salon. The location is very convenient, close to everything! Living in the historic center, as part of the family, allows you to fully savor the experience of Bari Vecchia and adds value to the travel experience.

Non posso fare a meno di dare questa valutazione. Tutto molto bello in un contesto, Bari Vecchia, conosciuta solo per sentito dire, e non bene tra l’altro, che è invece un gioiello soprattutto la sera quando le luci illuminano le chiese e i vicoli, la Signora Paola ed il marito eccezionali, la colazione con i dolci fatti in casa, buonissima, un'attenzione ai dettagli davvero che ho ritrovato in pochi posti, ti accolgono in casa e ti senti a casa. Un abbraccio Paola e ci rivedremo sicuramente.
