Located on the less touristy side of the city, this place is where the best restaurants are found. The host was very kind and gave us tips for our stay. We could ask him for specific things in Florence, such as good restaurants and how to book museum tickets. The price included espresso and some pastries, which was all we needed for breakfast. The bathroom was clean, as well as the room in general. The reception had a short opening time, but we didn’t find it hard to communicate with the host. He even answered my phone call at 8:30 pm one evening. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at Althea Rooms was fairly pleasant. The room was a bit different than we expected but nonetheless close to what was advertised. All the necessities were there; a closet, a small refrigerator as well as a water boiler. The bathroom, however, was small and would easily retain the smells for a long time. Other than that everything was good.

Great location, on a quiet neighborhood near the main attractions of the city. Clean room with plenty of space, nice shower and bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The host, Antonio’s advice for driving outside of the city was very helpful. We were also allowed leave the luggage in the accommodation after checking out. Local people’s advice is crucial for travelers in Firenze and Tuscany as there as so many things to choose from. Thank you, Althea and Antonios again. I had a great stay at Althea Rooms last week. The location was great as it was easy to walk to anything you needed whether that be restaurants, museums, sites. Our host was great and was available to offer any assistance or advice. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location helpful host, quiet but close to things only suggestion would be to have a microwave and working coffee machine in the common area. A lot of restaurants give big portions so having a way to heat left over would be great. I loved the mini fridge and hot water pot in room.

We had a wonderful weekend to Florence visiting family and were delighted to have found such a convenient place to stay. The rooms were spacious, with very comfortable beds and a small but excellent shower room. Everything was very clean and well appointed. Highly recommended.

Great place! Loved the snacks that were replenished daily. Very clean and the host was very nice and accommodating. Location is pretty good and not too far a walk from the centre. The bed was not the most comfortable but wasn’t too bad either. Would definitely recommend!

I very much liked Antonio's apartment; it is simple but nice, clean, and located in a calm & residential area of Florence - yet it is close to the center (10 min walk). Our room was equipped with sweets, drinks, and very good coffee (pads), so we could have our breakfast independently. Antonio is a very kind host; communication was always easy and quick. I recommend staying here!

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la qualité de la chambre. Très propre, bien rangé avec beaucoup de petites attentions. Le climatiseur était la vraie bonne surprise qui nous a fait beaucoup de bien. La communication avec l'équipe a été très bonne et réactive. Le personnel est très agréable et donne des conseils. El alojamiento y Antonio un 10. La limpieza impecable, la ubicación a pocos minutos del centro, zona tranquila para descansar por la noche. Habitación amplia y equipada con calentador de agua y nevera. El desayuno no está incluido, sin embargo el alojamiento tiene el detalle de dejar café e infusiones junto con galletas para desayunar en la habitación. Volvería al alojamiento sin duda. Ha sido un acierto alojarnos en Althea Rooms. Recomendable al 100%.

La verdad que tenía unas espectativas súper bajas de este alojamiento y me sorprendió gratamente! La habitación era súper cómoda y tenía todo lo necesario! La nevera y el desayuno que nos dejaron con dulces, café, zumos... fue un puntazo! Nos sentimos como en casa! Y encima a dos pasos del centro, repetiría sin duda!

Lo aconsejo encarecidamente, se encuentra cerca del Palaccio Pitii y los restaurantes y bares que se encuentran al rededor están bien de precio para lo que es Florencia. Fue de agradecer que cuando llegase el aire estuviese puesto ya que la habitación estaba aclimatada, por otra parte, Antonio deja comida, para el desayuno (que si se consume se repone a la mañana siguiente) y hay una cafetera en la entrada. La habitación tiene tu nombre al igual que a la entrada y la hora de check in la puedes hacer cuando quieras mientras que la de check out es entre las 11 y las 11: 30. En resumen, es un lugar perfecto y con una ubicación buena.

Pasamos dos noches en el establecimiento, la habitacion era comoda y espaciosa, tenia varias mesas con pava electrica, cafe, te bebidas y dulces. Se encuentra muy cerca del centro donde estan todos los museos por lo que se puede hacer todo caminando. La atencion de los huéspedes muy buena.

Calidad y precio fue fantástico, la limpieza excelente. No incluye desayuno pero tenía cada mañana unos bollos dulces, galletitas y zumos. Recomendación: yo viaje con mi hijo y me hubiera gustado que hubiese un microondas en el pasillo para calentar su comida o leche. Pero por todo lo demás fue súper excelente y estoy segura que volveré. Gracias.

La struttura è in una zona tranquilla a 10 minuti dal centro. Le camere sono molto pulite e il gestore è gentile e disponibile. Anche se la colazione non è prevista lasciano a disposizione alcune cialde per il caffè e alcune merendine. Consigliata.

Mi sono trovata molto bene sia con il gestore, che è stato sempre molto disponibile, sia nella stanza. Quest'ultima era silenziosa, pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Anche la piccola colazione messa a disposizione in camera è stata una piacevole sorpresa.

Il palazzo è piuttosto vecchio e ci sono due rampe di scale ripide per arrivare alle stanze. La stanza è piccola, ma dignitosa, ben organizzata e sopratutto molto pulita, pulizia che spesso non si vede in albergo. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile perchè avevo segnalato una mia difficoltà motoria e ha fatto il possibile per rendermi tutto più semplice. La sua disponibilità ci ha colpito positivamente. complimenti.

Sistemazione consigliatissima per posizione, rapporto qualità prezzo, professionalità e cortesia del gestore Antonio e in ultimo, ma non per meno importanza, la pulizia perfetta. La struttura risulta un po’ datata, al di là del bagno che è nuovo, ma siamo in centro a Firenze e comunque ogni dettaglio è curato. Presenti davvero tutti i comfort. Tornerei senza ombra di dubbio se dovessi ripassare per Firenze.

B&B in ottima posizione rispetto al centro. Buona pulizia e letto comodo. Il cambio biancheria bagno avviene ogni tre giorni. Prevista un minimo di colazione, qualche brioscina, succo di frutta e biscottini. Abbiamo trovato una bottiglia di acqua al nostro arrivo. Tornerei, quindi la consiglio.

Pulizia ed efficienza accolgono l'ospite. Posizione strategica dietro Palazzo Pitti. Attenzione per l'ospite da parte del gestore: molto apprezzata la mappa della città con suggerimenti nella zona. Consigliatissimo !

Ci sono stato insieme alla mia compagna nel ponte del 2 giugno. Una struttura davvero ottima. Super pulita, personale gentilissimo e sempre molto disponibile. Posizione eccellente. A meno di 10 minuti a piedi dall'ingresso di Palazzo Pitti e dei Giardini di Boboli. Ad una ventina di minuti dagli Uffizi e dal mercato del Porcellino. In zona sono presenti inoltre vari supermercati e soprattutto una delle sedi delle gelaterie la Strega Nocciola. Insomma mi sento davvero di consigliarla e la prenoterei sicuramente di nuovo per un futuro fine settimana a Firenze.

Una delle esperienze di soggiorno piu piacevoli di sempre. Stanza ogni giorno pulita e ordinata, aria condizionata accesa per farci trovare l’ambiente fresco ogni volta che tornavamo in struttura. Ho dato 10 alla colazione perchè anche se non l’avevamo inclusa con la prenotazione, tutti i giorni ci hanno fatto trovare brioches, succhi di frutta, crostatine e cialde per il caffè da usare nella macchinetta all’ingresso. La posizione è ottima, vicinissima a piazza Santo Spirito, una delle più belle di Firenze. Gestore cordiale e disponibile. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo.

B&B carinissimo! Molto ben tenuto e sopratutto ben pulito. La camera ha l'essenziale, anche se la colazione non era prevista il caffè era molto buono. Il propietario una persona splendida e gentilissima. Complimenti, la semplicità ripaga sempre!

Sono soddisfatta del mio soggiorno presso Althea Rooms, grazie soprattutto alla cordialità e disponibilità del signor Antonio che ci ha trattati con i guanti, sia a me che al mio ragazzo e persino al piccolo cagnolino in viaggio con noi. Consiglio vivamente un soggiorno qui, sia per il Signor Antonio ma anche per la vicinanza al centro, infatti la strattura è posta in un punto strategico: a 4 minuti a piedi da palazzo pitti e meno di 10 minuti dal ponte vecchio, il quale si ricollega al centro storico. Il soggiorno non prevedeva la colazione ma grazie alla gentilezza del signor Antonio, ogni giorno ci è stata fornita una colazione in camera con merendine, succhi, bollitore con the e anche capsule del caffè e l'acqua. La struttura è molto carina, le stanze sono ampie e comode. Per chi soggiorna con un cane, il Signor Antonio si è subito reso disponibile a fornirci una cuccetta in pile ed anche delle ciotole. Sicuramente per il prossimo soggiorno a Firenze, sceglierò nuovamente il Signor Antonio.

Posto tranquillo molto carino situato a pochi km dal centro raggiungibile benissimo a piedi. Sicuramente se dovessi tornare a Firenze prenoterei di nuovo da Althea Rooms.

Personale gentilissimo, zona perfetta per gli spostamenti a piedi o in bici, stanza super pulita e tenuta obiettivamente bene. L'appartamento non è nuovissimo ma è comunque ristrutturato internamente ed è dotato di tutti i confort di cui si può aver bisogno in viaggio (minifrigo, phon, clima etc)..Io mi sono trovata davvero molto bene, spero di poterci tornare presto, da loro...e a Firenze in generale!

Camere in quartiere Oltrarno (bello) pieno di botteghe e osterie tipiche. 5 minuti a piedi dal centro e 2 minuti da Palazzo Pitti. Camere in palazzo senza ascensore. Pulizia ottima. Accoglienza e check out senza problemi. Tutto perfetto.
