We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. It is in a very good and central location for seeing the main sights. The windows in our room overlooked a very pretty part of the canals—so pretty that it was a popular route for the commercial gondolas—so it was fun to watch them go by in the mornings. The B&B host was very professional and helpful. She provided very tasty and filling breakfasts while also spending time chatting with us and giving us tips on how best to see Venice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I would love to stay at this B&B again the next time I am in Venice.

This was a perfect place to stay in Venice, lovely apartment, and a stellar host who's an expert of the area and so helpful. Walking distance to everything you want to do, yet tucked away from the main tourist areas. Dead end alleyway with gondolas going past below, it's gorgeous and would absolutely stay again!

B&B Al Teatro was a fantastic place to stay. Sparkling clean, beautiful large room with a balcony view of a canal, delicious breakfasts and great location (centrally located, but a little oasis away from the crowds). Eleonora was an excellent host. She helped us with directions to places, plans for activities/sites to see, tickets for a wonderful Vivaldi concert, suggestions for places to go after our stay in Venezia, making reservations for us at a great B&B she recommended along Lake Garda, and assisting us with a call to Milan. She had a wealth of information about Venice, its positives and difficulties, as she is a lifelong resident there and her English is excellent. We couldn't have asked for more and were sad to leave, although we had a wonderful week afterwards due to her recommendations. We would definitely go back and will recommend it to friends.

Fabulous host, Mrs. Eleonora, a true Venetian with best advice, recommendations, knowledge of the city, and a refreshing wry humor. Location is perfect, right in the midst of San Marco, yet on a quiet calle by the canal.

Eleonora was great, kind and helpful. Gave great recommendations of things to do and places to see, food to eat. Location is right in the middle of Venice near St. Mark's with lots of things nearby. The only note I'd make to anybody visiting Venice or this B&B is to prepare for the mosquitoes as we all got bitten fairly badly and the plug-in device didn't work. Maybe recommend bug netting for the windows or something to deter them. I recommend this property though and enjoyed it.

Great B&B. Centrally located in Venice, and our host Eleonora was wonderful. She made a great breakfast, gave us loads of helpful information, and most of all, she was fun to talk with each morning. The room was large and airy. It had air-conditioning, windows that overlooked small canals where gondolas were fun to watch, and a huge comfortable bed. My husband and I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough! Lovely!

Al Teatro is a wonderful place to stay in Venice and Eleanora a great hostess! The location is perfect for those looking to be close to the action yet be able to enjoy the quiet moments Venice has to offer. Right on a canal frequented by gondolas treating you to beautiful song out your window and creating master piece quality photos you can't go wrong! Also, Eleanora was so gracious accommodating my Gluten Free Diet, she understood the difference between Gluten Intolerance and Celiac needing different parameters. You can't go wrong staying here, I almost want to keep this place my secret!

We absolutely loved this place! It is located in the heart of San Marco - walking distance from the most spectacular architecture and historic sites, as well as from great restaurants and cafes. The room has two French doors that open to a balcony over a canal. The atmosphere from this canal is quiet and magical. Sparkling clean, air conditioned, and tastefully decorated with plenty of room for our family of three. Eleonora, the host, is very kind and helpful. She contacted us beforehand to give us details on how to arrive - Google maps will not offer clear directions! But Eleonora will. We highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed 3 nights at the B&B Al Teatro and everything was perfect. The location is excellent, very close to St. Mark's Square. Eleonora welcomed us warmly and gave us excellent advice and recommendations. The Rose room was beautiful with excellent bedding, while the bathroom was perfect. A very good breakfast awaited us in the morning. We thank Eleonora again for her hospitality and kindness. We will be back.

Located behind the Teatro la Fenice and very close to St. Mark's Square, just a few meters from the vaporetto stop. The owner Eleonora turned out to be an excellent consultant, always ready for every request. Highly recommended.
