We enjoyed our stay very much! Daniele is a great host. Room nice and clean. Breakfast we do not recommend; too expensive for what you get. We loved all the pieces of art everywhere. Private Parking behind the facility, so your car is safe as well. The archeological park of Pompei is just across the street. We can absolutely recommend a stay at Il Vecchio Fauno.

Il Vecchio Fauno is a great place to stay in Pompeii. The hosts were very kind, helpful, and gracious. They gave us info on the best way to get to Sorrento for a day trip which saved us €80 that we would have spent on a taxi. They were also able to book us a taxi for our early AM flight from Naples which was very helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. There are so many good things to say about this B&B. I want to go back and stay there again.

The room was spacious, well-furnished and clean. We had a problem with the drainage, but they solved it in no time. Good job and discreet.

We were guests at the property and we had a great time, excellent hospitality, good breakfast. Il Vecchio Fauno is very convenient for visiting the Pompeii excavations, an experience to be repeated. Excellent advice from the manager to guide us during our short stay on where to eat given the covid emergency or how to best visit the places we were interested in.

A very comfortable bed and breakfast, former historic hotel in Pompei, recently renovated internally and undergoing external renovations, with ample internal parking in the center of Pompei, almost in front of the entrance to the amphitheater side of the excavations and 10 minutes walk from the other main entrance. Internally decorated with beautiful paintings by the young owner Chiara; perfect air conditioning, relaxing atmosphere, efficient management and compliance with anti COVID-19 regulations. Excellent breakfast, everything you could want is there, but if something is missing, by asking Daniele and Chiara, every need would be satisfied. Really great, we will definitely return!

Excellent location to visit the excavations (just cross the street) and the Sanctuary of Pompeii. Strategic location to explore the surroundings as they are easily reachable both by car and public transport. Caring and helpful managers.
