Onetime Rome is located a 10-minute walk from the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano which is the oldest church in the world, one of the four papal basilicas of Rome and considered the most important basilica in the Western world. Also referred to as "the mother of all churches", it stands in the homonymous square where the tallest monolithic obelisk in the world is located, is part of a large monumental complex that includes the Lateran Palace (ancient papal seat) and is the main attraction of the district, an essential destination for all pilgrims and lovers of sacred art who arrive every year in the capital.

Extremely disappointed, the room was nothing like the pictures. We only saw the host once and never again during our stay. No every day housekeeping provided and when they changed the towels once on our 5 night stay, no one bothered to empty the wastebaskets.
