Lory and Daniele are very nice hosts. They gave us a lot of helpful tips on what to visit and eat in the city. The breakfast is very good and fresh, and they bought vegan milk specially for us. The room is pretty and clean. Thank you very much for this perfect trip!

Overall it has been a great experience, I highly recommend the place. The only thing I would like to make a comment on is the breakfast. I think if the guests could have been left alone to help themselves in peace, it would have been much more enjoyable, as I felt uncomfortable being asked what I would like for breakfast. There wasn't anything extra that the host needed to do by asking that; the guests can help themselves to make coffee or enjoy the available buffet. It was just uncomfortable having two people watching you eat breakfast in the morning; it was just not a relaxing atmosphere. Others than that, it was a great and comfortable stay. Also, the host was extremely helpful in pointing us to different locations and providing helpful information. Many thanks for having us.

The best bed and breakfast that we had in Sicily.

Daniele and Loredana are amazing hosts, they do their best to make sure you have a good time and make you feel comfortable and at home! The place is squeaky clean and fresh with amazing breakfast as well. Overall It was an awesome experience and I can't wait to go back.

This apartment is in excellent condition, well decorated and we felt at home right away; it is true that Lory & Daniele are exceptional, kind, helpful, available, very pleasant, which made our stay magnificent and unforgettable! With a refined breakfast, nothing better to start a good day; the apartment is also very well located, 10 minutes from the Teatro Massimo and therefore from the center, close to the Politeama, for the shuttle connection with the airport; This week has been a great moment of happiness, and sincere thanks to Lory & Daniele Geneviève & Christian.

The stay has been great, especially thanks to Daniel and Loredana who have been fantastic in serving us and providing us with all sorts of explanations to get to know Palermo, you can tell they love their job.

Excellent B&B, modern, very welcoming. Daniele and Loredana are very special hosts, we felt like among friends.

We stayed at this bed and breakfast the day after our wedding, waiting to embark on the cruise ship two days later. Super kind and helpful owners, as soon as they found out we had been married for a day, they immediately gave us the suite instead of our room (thanks again for the kind gift). Location facing the cruise terminal but at the same time very close to the center. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have traveled to many places in Sicily. Arriving very late after the ferry from Genoa was four hours late, the hotel owners couldn't have been more welcoming and kind. Our room was comfortable and beautiful. The shower and bathroom were well-furnished. The breakfast served by the host was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return to this charming hotel. Thank you!

Spring weekend in Palermo, a city that will make you fall in love with its colors and warmth. In this sentence I also express everything I found at the b&b La Finestra sul Porto: the warm welcome of the hosts who surprise you with their genuineness, their hospitality that goes well beyond what you expect. We are right in front of the port but very close to the central area that you can reach with a pleasant walk. I also think it is well served by public transport, but we never used it. The room and bathroom are modern and very tidy, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. What to say about breakfast? I can't find the necessary words, not only will you be spoiled with special Sicilian sweets, but everything you imagine and even more they offer you. I won't dwell any longer, the other reviews already tell everything there is to know and what we also found. Instead, I want to stop to tell you more about the welcome you will receive. With Loredana and Daniele you won't feel like customers at all, but dear friends who offer you everything to make you feel good. Breakfast is the time when you meet and chat, a lot and even more. Daniele is an endless source of information about his city, I have never found anyone who could involve you so intensely with his stories and curiosities. You will never get tired of listening to him. And what about Loredana? With her you talk about everything and more, about her life and your life. Time never seems enough and you have to get up from the table too early to start exploring their wonderful city, which you have now learned to know and see through their eyes. Of course they will also be able to indicate everything practical you may need, and trust me, what they like will surely please you too. These are "friends" that at the end of the vacation you leave with regret and can't wait to come back to see.

Lovely structure with comfortable, modern and cozy rooms. Optimal location just a few steps from the center. The managers are very kind, friendly and generous with useful tips to visit Palermo and surroundings. We had a great time and hope to come back soon.

Reviewing La Finestra sul Porto is complex because it is a special place. As soon as you open the bnb's door, we, who have already put on the 4 Hotel critic's hat, ready to search and find the detail, are surprised, because the atmosphere first makes us smile and then leaves us amazed at what we see. We are in the Christmas period and the delightful lights and decorations immediately make us feel elsewhere... In the meantime, the welcome from Daniele and Loredana is extremely professional and quick, but there is a light note in their voices that makes us feel welcomed like family and friends. And we wonder: if we don't even know each other, why do we feel this way? Okay, we check-in, always joking and laughing (and maybe even receiving a cookie and a coffee) and finally we get to the room. Those who, like me, when entering a hotel room, run their finger over the bed's headboard to check for dust, will have to resign themselves to not finding any. Even using Luminol, not even a speck of dust will be found, not a hair escaped the vacuum cleaner, not a smudge in the shower tray or on the shower glass... the disappointment will soon turn into frustration, as it will quickly become clear that at home we will never be so clean. At this point, angry about the humiliation, we change and go out hoping not to find anything to eat in the area. But no. We find taverns, bars, rotisseries, pizzerias one better and better reviewed than the other. And enough! All this perfection is starting to become annoying. We return hoping for a quiet night, but we already imagine that something will disturb our sleep and that the breakfast, both things we hope will make sense of our expert traveler level, and that will allow us to help other travelers with our ready professional review. And no, it won't be like that. We will sleep very well, in incredibly comfortable beds and in total silence, we will take a SPA shower and then we will discover that we underestimated the buffet shouting "diet, disappear" and "Hilton, move..." The check-out will be quick and painless from an economic point of view, because, to tell the truth, what's the point...? It will be difficult to separate from Loredana and Daniele who will let us go only when they see us full and satisfied. Otherwise, they won't settle. But where do you find other hosts like them? In short, staying here will turn you into a perfect customer for the psychotherapist, to whom you will have to go to rebuild your beliefs about bnb in general, because this place will put them all in question. Don't believe it? Try it.

Daniele and Loredana were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Always ready to help, recommend places to visit, and the best local spots to eat typical Palermo dishes. The hotel is located right in front of the commercial port, not in the very center but still convenient to reach the main points of interest. The room is new, clean and welcoming, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast is always plentiful and enriched by a nice exchange of words with the owners. Very welcome touch: upon arrival, we were asked if we had any special dietary needs, intolerances, or allergies to tailor the breakfast to our needs. We hope to return soon.

We stayed as a couple in this property from May 18th to 21st and our evaluation is absolutely positive. The managers are friendly and helpful people and gave us valuable advice on places to visit and on typical restaurants and places to have lunch and dinner. The property is well-kept, excellent room cleanliness, good breakfast with typical products, strategic location near the port and a short distance from the historic center. The suite where we stayed is very beautiful and functional. Absolutely recommended.

Accommodation very well located, recent and tastefully furnished, less than 10 minutes walk from the city center. Private parking for a fee 100 meters from the accommodation and the owners are very welcoming. I will return if I go to Palermo.

Located on the third floor of a building facing the harbor and adjacent to a pedestrian street. 200 meters from the airport shuttle stop, very convenient. Super welcoming, Loredana and Daniele provided us with all the useful information so we wouldn't miss anything in Palermo. Clean and quiet room, top local breakfast products. A structure that I recommend.

The Finestra sul Porto is the ideal place to visit and move around Palermo. New and modern structure equipped with all the comforts (it seems in all respects to stay in a hotel). In front of the port a stone's throw from the historic center. Morning breakfast with typical local products served by the real strength which are the owners Loredana and Daniele. Two people with whom you immediately make friends from the first meeting and who make themselves available to give you all the advice and tips available to fully enjoy the place. Always kind and with a smile printed on their faces, they put you in a good mood and make you feel at home with friends. If you come to Palermo, we highly recommend staying at the Finestra sul Porto, so in addition to the memory of the beautiful city of Palermo, you will also take with you that of two special friends.

I want to thank Daniele and Loredana so much who are special! They were very welcoming, kind, and caring. Every day they gave us different advice on where to go and what to visit in Palermo. For them, it's not a job but a passion and love for their city. Thank you! The room was clean and well-kept (the shower was spectacular). Everything was really modern and the view of the port was very suggestive. The location is more than excellent to visit Palermo and its surroundings. The breakfast was abundant with local products and a lot of choices. When we come back, we will know where to go. Keep it up, guys!

I found cleanliness, a new and welcoming environment. Cleanliness, friendliness, and sympathy are the trio that characterized our stay. Arriving late at night, Daniele and his wife welcomed us with kindness and professionalism making us feel immediately at home. The B&B is cared for in every detail, clean, airy, and the managers always bring joy and are always available to explain what to visit and what to eat in Palermo, making us feel the warmth of this city. The structure is located at the port but on foot, you can reach the center in a few minutes. In 10 minutes you are at the Teatro Massimo, in 15 minutes you reach the Cathedral, with electric scooters in the city, you can reach every corner of the city in a few minutes. We were greeted as if we were at a friend's house, available, friendly, and very prompt to every need. Strategic location, just a few minutes from the Politeama theater to reach all the wonders of Palermo. We will definitely return next weekend.

One of the best choices was our stay at the wonderful Bed Breakfast. Clean and tidy rooms carefully equipped with every comfort, bathroom with chromotherapy. The location is convenient, close to the historic center and very close to the port of Palermo. The owners Daniele and Loredana welcomed us like friends right away, special people, it feels like being in the family. Breakfast for all with fresh Sicilian pastry products, the inn is truly the ideal choice to make the most of the holiday. I recommend it! We will definitely come back.

We spent a spectacular week in one of the themed rooms, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Loredana and Daniele pampered us with excellent, plentiful breakfast and quality products. Including the homemade cake. We will definitely come back. Thanks again to Loredana and Daniele.

We stayed at La Finestra sul Porto at the end of September. The managers are very kind and welcoming, we felt at home. The structure is impeccably clean, we will definitely come back.

Struttura bellissima, abbiamo alloggiato io ed il mio compagno per cinque notti e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La camera (approdo del fenicio) è abbastanza grande, il condizionatore funziona alla perfezione, la pulizia della camera è quasi del tutto impeccabile, il bagno ha una doccia molto spaziosa con cromoterapia (stupendo e super rilassante dopo una giornata super carica!). C’è una tv con SERVIZIO NETFLIX INCLUSO! Questo non c’è scritto ma è così, quindi avrete la possibilità di vedere film a quantità industriale e senza nessun prezzo aggiuntivo. Possibilità di avere anche il frigo bar (pagando extra ovviamente). La casa si trova a pochissimi metri dal porto e dalla fermata del bus, 2 km dalla stazione centrale e poche centinaia di metri dal centro di Palermo, si può tranquillamente fare tutto anche a piedi. Per non parlare del personale, Daniele e Loredana, due giovani ragazzi, disponibilissimi e super accoglienti, ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio fin da subito e trasmettono tanta tanta energia positiva. Consigliato vivamente al 100%. Grazie ancora ragazzi!

Complimenti! La migliore esperienza di un B&B mai avuta, Daniele e Loredana (i proprietari) sono davvero eccezionali. Son riusciti a creare un ambiente dove ci si sente accolti come in famiglia, disponibilissimi a consigliare cosa visitare a Palermo, dove assaporare la cucina siciliana o dove recarsi per meglio vivere la città secondo le proprie esigenze (ed. esempio ci hanno indicato una nuova mostra appena inaugurata, locali dove godersi il dopo cena, dove incontrare i personaggi icona della città e molte altre cose dei più vari interessi). Tutto questo senza tralasciare professionalità, cortesia e precisione anche con ospiti a volte esigenti. Dato il momento storico è utile sottolineare la particolare attenzione che hanno avuto per tutte le norme di prevenzione/sanificazione in relazione alla diffusione del Covid-19, impeccabili. Come ultima nota, spero utile per chi interessato, ho avuto la possibilità di utilizzare il bonus vacanza. Sin dal primo contatto di richiesta informazioni l'utilizzo del bonus vacanza non ha mai creato problemi e all'arrivo la procedura è stata rapidissima. Rinnovo i complimenti a Loredana e Daniele, quando si incontrano persone disponibili, competenti e appassionati del loro lavoro e quindi meritevoli di elogi è doveroso farli, complimenti ancora. L'accoglienza, la simpatia, la disponibilità di Daniele e Loredana abbinate ad un ambiente rinnovato ed arredato con gusto, in una posizione ideale vicino il mare ma contemporaneamente al centro storico, ci ha fatto sentire amici più che ospiti. "La finestra sul porto" è un posto indimenticabile dove si trovano due persone eccezionali: Loredana e Daniele, una coppia veramente palermitana che ci ha fatto sentire benvenuti dal inizio alla fine. Il giorno inizia con una collazione freschissima con i dolci tradizionali della zona e una bella chiaccherata con loro. 100% consigliato per coloro che cercano una vera esperienza siciliana. La camera era spaziosa, bella e con una pulizia inpeccabile. Speriamo tornare pronto!

Siamo stati ospiti di Loredana e Daniele presso il loro b&b "La finestra sul porto" per qualche giorno e sin da subito siamo stati coinvolti dal calore siciliano: due persone simpatiche, alla mano e soprattutto competenti! Grazie ai loro consigli abbiamo scoperto Palermo nei più piccoli dettagli, riuscendo così a conoscere la storia della città e a gustare nelle vicinanze le pietanze più tradizionali. La loro struttura è intima, accogliente e tenuta con cura. La localizzazione è ottima per poter scoprire la città. Ogni mattina ci si sveglia accolti da una colazione tutta da godere e passare in loro piacevole compagnia. Sperando di tornarci presto, un abbraccio!

Gestori molto accoglienti, attenti, cordiali e competenti. Pulizia impeccabile. Colazione abbondante. Per la prima volte non volevano più tornare a casa perché ci sentivamo a casa. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Lo consiglio a tutti. Dalla struttura si raggiunge facilmente ed in poco tempo il centro di Palermo: via Roma, il Teatro Politeama, il Teatro Massimo...

Non posso fare altro che dare il massimo dei voti a questa struttura e soprattutto a Loredana e Daniele per la loro grande passione e capacità nel mettere a proprio agio i clienti, questo B&B è come dovrebbero essere tutti gli altri, fornire un tipo di rapporto non meramente commerciale ma piuttosto un'esperienza di viaggio in cui si instaura anche un rapporto umano e di amicizia che costituisce la vera esperienza del viaggiare, quella che ti rimane nel cuore. Tutto perfetto durante il nostro soggiorno, struttura, pulizia, colazione, assistenza... insomma...se ritorneremo a Palermo la scelta del B&B sarà obbligata!

Sono stato una settimana a palermo e ho alloggiato alla finestra sul porto. Ho avuto la fortuna di conoscere l ospitalità e la professionalità che offre la struttura. Camera bellissima con tutti i comfort. I proprietari, Loredana e Daniele, mi hanno dato dei consigli per visitare il posto per vivere al massimo Palermo e conoscere la Sicilia. Posizione ottima, in dieci minuti a piedi si è nel centro storico di Palermo. La struttura è nuova ben curata e pulitissima, le stanze ben curate; la mattina si trova una super colazione con prodotti tipici ed anche casalinghi, molto buoni: I proprietari due fantastiche persone che accolgono con tanto calore, cortesia e molta disponibilità, ti fanno sentire a casa. Sarà il b&b che prenoterò ogni qual volta dovrò trascorrere qualche giorno in questa città. Io lo consiglio a tutti coloro che verranno a Palermo. È raro trovare delle persone così, cercate di non cambiare. IN BOCCA AL LUPO! ECCEZIONALE!

Già appena arrivi vieni accolto dal calore e dall'ospitalità dei proprietari, pronti a darti qualsiasi tipo di suggerimento e consigli. La mattina poi non è che sei solo un ospite, è come fare colazione (ottima e genuina) al bar con gli amici, ti siedi e vieni coinvolto dalla convivialità che sanno darti, dai sorrisi, dai racconti sul loro territorio. E tutto questo è molto bello! Le camere sono molto pulite e ben tenute, e la posizione è centralissima, a pochi passi dal teatro politeama ottimo quindi anche per chi arriva a Palermo senza auto. Per chi ha in mente una visita a Palermo suggerirei vivamente di soggiornare in questa struttura.

B&B appena ristrutturato con estremo gusto. Pulizia eccellente, personale fantastico in tutto. Posizione fantastica. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro cerchino un B&B fantastico. Ah dimenticavo, rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.
