Cancellation conditions (except for non-refundable rates)

The penalty varies depending on the time of cancellation
- from time of booking to 7 days before the check-in date, no penalty is charged;
- from 6 to 1 days before the check-in date, you will be charged a penalty of 50% of the total cost of the booking;
- A penalty of 100% of the entire cost of the stay is applied for failure to show or cancellation on day of arrival;

I had a great stay at this B&B. Signor Lattanzi was very helpful and hospitable. The room was clean and well-decorated, and the view of the mountains was beautiful. The shared kitchen was also convenient.

Structure in the heart of Carrara, located in a historic building and managed by an owner always ready to provide directions and information on any activities to do. The room and the bathroom are very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen available to guests with various products. Breakfast at a pastry shop around the corner.

Our experience at the B&B La Bottega d'Arte was extremely positive, even though we were guests for only one night. We were welcomed by the owner impeccably, who provided us with all the necessary information for our short stay. The Elisa Room, assigned to us: a blend of ancient tones and modern comforts, was a very pleasant surprise. Our stay in Carrara for the exhibition 'The Sea, Myth History Nature' at Palazzo Cucchiari was the opportunity to see marine masterpieces at the foot of the wonderful Apuan Alps. Worth mentioning, the excellent breakfast at Caffetteria Leon d'Oro where we were welcomed with great cordiality.

THE ART OF WELCOMING. Saying perfect is an understatement. Nothing here is left to chance: the care in welcoming the guest in the museum-like rooms expertly, luxuriously, and finely furnished, the enjoyable breakfast, not only in the B&B's kitchen - and in addition to it - in one of the historic bars of the city, are just two of the many small and big attentions reserved by the very kind Corrado to those who stay overnight in this extraordinary Art Shop. Royal treatment. Also noteworthy is the central position and the peculiarity of the reception in the manager's atelier. Highly recommended!

Very nice and sweet room, on the second floor of a building in the center of Carrara where it is not always easy to park. It offers many comforts such as a large shower, air conditioning, TV with Sky programs and a small kitchen shared with the other 2 rooms. The voucher for breakfast at the bar is not as pleasant as breakfast made directly in the facilities that offer it, but given the small size of the bed and breakfast in question, you can't ask for more.

Very ancient structure as it is located in the same building as an antique shop. Rooms of great charm, each more beautiful and elegant than the other. Snacks, drinks, and beverages always available in the shared kitchenette. Breakfast agreed upon in 2 bars, one of which is in the beautiful Piazza Alberica.

Very beautiful and well-kept room and very kind and helpful owner, ready to give directions and information about the area. The central location is very convenient for walking around the city. There is no private parking available but it is not a problem as there is a large parking lot a few steps from the property. The kitchen is very appreciated where you can prepare a coffee or a herbal tea or eat something. Excellent value for money, highly recommended.

As soon as we arrived, the host welcomed us in a space that resembles that of an antique shop, which I found fascinating and explored a bit with my eyes during the check-in procedure, in short, a great welcome! The room was completely renovated but maintained that charm of a historic building, with all the history it carries behind it, starting from the choice of the names of the rooms that the host explained to us had been decided to dedicate to women. The common area was equipped with all the amenities: cups, cutlery, minibar with water bottles at our disposal and various breakfast foods, kettle, coffee machine, and more. Noteworthy detail, the window of the common area with a view of the marble quarries and from which you can see the spire of the Carrara Cathedral. The central location of the property is definitely one of its strengths, and in front of the entrance there is a parking area. Another strong point is undoubtedly the host: restorer and architect (but not only), he introduced us to the history of this city dear to him and provided us with a very useful map in which all the main squares, monuments, places of the city and neighboring areas worth exploring were marked. He pointed out the two affiliated structures for breakfast: one is a bar located in the central square of Carrara (Piazza Alberica) and the other is a pastry shop a few steps from the property and which I would recommend for the vast choice of sweets and their quality. What else to say, if not that for a next stay in Carrara "La Bottega D'Arte" will be a must!

Visiting relatives, we stayed one night in the Elettra room of this bed and breakfast. The room, overlooking the Town Hall square, is perfectly soundproofed, carefully furnished and equipped with every comfort: a large and very comfortable bed, air conditioning, TV with Sky and a choice of pillows. The marble bathroom has a spacious shower, is equipped with a hairdryer and offers customers a courtesy kit that also includes a toothbrush and toothpaste. Included in the price in the common kitchen tea, coffee, chamomile, juices, water, herbal teas and more. In the entrance, customers have a library with books to read/exchange. Everything spotless. Breakfast is served in the affiliated pastry shop around the corner. Absolutely positive experience. Thanks to the very kind and helpful Architect Lattanzi who made us feel immediately at home.

Enchanting place full of charm, everything is taken care of in detail to make guests feel comfortable as at home. The manager is really very friendly and available to explain stories and features of Carrara. Absolutely recommended!

La cortesia e la personalità di Corrado si coniugano perfettamente ad una struttura di classe ed eleganza curata in ogni dettaglio per mettere l'ospite a proprio agio certo di trovare ogni confort per godere un soggiorno nell'abbraccio delle Alpi Apuane in uno scenario unico e suggestivo. Il posto è accogliente e curato nei particolari, ci si sente proprio a casa. Il signor Corrado è una persona davvero gentile e disponibile. La colazione si fa in bar storico, io ho gustato un ottimo cappuccino (temperatura perfetta) e sfogliatina alla ricotta. Consiglio questo B&B, spero di poter tornare presto, magari in primavera.

Il b&b La Bottega d'Arte è una gemma di grande valore nello scrigno prezioso del sig. Lattanzi, referente della struttura e proprietario del sottostante negozio di antiquariato, da cui il b&b prende il nome. Ciò che subito ammalia è l'ambiente raffinato nel quale si viene ricevuti e l'affabilità del gestore che, da compito anfitrione, mette a disposizione la propria dimora per qualsiasi necessità, rendendola CASA anche a chi vi rimane per poco tempo. Fine conoscitore del territorio, e personalmente attivo nell'implementarne la vocazione turistica, il sig. Lattanzi offre generose informazioni sulle mete più interessanti della zona, impersonandone così il 'genius loci'. L'aria che si respira in questo b&b è pervasa da un vasto background culturale che traspare da ogni rifinitura, ma è anche permeata da una evidente preoccupazione per il BEN-essere ad ampio raggio dei propri ospiti. Tali qualità rendono La Bottega d'Arte il luogo ideale in cui trascorrere il proprio soggiorno a pochi passi dal cuore di Carrara. Marella e Mimmo - Magenta (Milano)

Abbiamo scelto questo B&B leggendo le ottime recensioni e devo dire che anche noi ci siamo trovati benissimo. Siamo stati qualche giorno ad agosto per visitare questa bellissima zona tra Toscana e Liguria. Inoltre il sig. Lattanzi i è una persona molto gentile, cordiale e disponibile. Le stanze sono molto belle dotate di ogni comfort e arredate con cura. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi deve recarsi in questa zona.

Ambiente accogliente e ubicato in posizione centrale ma un po' problematico il parcheggio a pagamento. Ottima l'ospitalità da parte del gestore e piacevole e ricca la colazione.
