In the heart of one of the most enchanting valleys of western Liguria, the Camping & Glamping Village Delle Rose stands out for its harmonious combination of nature and hospitality. Nestled in lush greenery, where mimosa, eucalyptus, and pines intertwine, this welcoming village offers a serene retreat just twelve kilometers from the sea and a short distance from the picturesque local villages, such as Dolceacqua and Apricale.

Founded in 1969 by the Lorena family, the camping facility keeps alive the tradition of warm, family-like hospitality, carrying forward an ethos of simplicity and relaxation that has characterized the stay in this land since the days of grandfather Fortunato, a pioneer of nature as a remedy for well-being. Direct management and attention to service make the experience unique, allowing guests to feel part of a large family.

The camping facilities are varied and comfortable; the spaces are designed to meet every need, with large pitches for tents, campers, and caravans, as well as mobile homes and glamping solutions immersed in greenery. The accommodations are equipped with a kitchenette, living area, and private bathroom, ideal for couples and families looking for a relaxed and practical stay. Communal services, such as the laundry and barbecue area, further enrich the experience, offering opportunities for socializing and conviviality.

The village comes alive during the summer with entertainment evenings and activities for children, while adults can enjoy moments of relaxation by the pool or in the solarium. The bar and restaurant, a meeting point for guests, offer tasty dishes from local tradition, with special attention to wood-fired pizzas and fresh local produce. A flexible breakfast, accessible via a voucher, allows you to start the day with energy, with an à la carte menu that satisfies every palate.

The strategic location of Camping Delle Rose allows for easy exploration of the Riviera dei Fiori and the surrounding wonders. The eclectic beaches of Ventimiglia, with their crystal-clear waters, are a short distance away, while the local markets in Bordighera and Ventimiglia offer a taste of fresh produce and culinary specialties. There are plenty of opportunities to experience nature through scenic trails, bike paths, and visits to historic villages, where every corner tells fascinating stories of past eras and living traditions.

In this corner of Ligurian paradise, guests can rediscover the taste of outdoor life, always surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of nature. Camping Delle Rose thus represents the ideal place for a unique vacation, where every visit translates into a memorable experience, amidst relaxation, culture, and Mediterranean flavors.

Hey, I'm Lorena

The story of the campsite starts in 1969 when Flora inherits from her grandfather Fortunato Peitavino the area of Prati di Goute, the flat area in the valley. Together with her husband Pinuccio she decides to turn this green place, surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation, into a campsite. Before, grandfather Fortunato, naturalist and ahead of his time in the field of natural medicine, had run a health colony where especially children could come to regain strength in the healthy air and by eating well. The couple Flora and Pinuccio start the business in this typical Ligurian landscape. Flora is a good cook and runs the kitchen while Pinuccio is engaged in the campsite and the bar where he develops into an outstanding pizza maker. In 1975 the pools are build which to this day forms the heart of the campsite. Lorena, the daughter of Flora and Pinuccio, expanded the campsite together with her husband Mauro. They run the campsite together with their oldest son Lorenzo, looking towards the future without forgetting the natural environment.

Area Collina

The sea within reach.
The area is well connected to the sea and has many seaside resorts. There is a large choice of spacious beaches. The natural outlet of the Val Nervia is the beach of Camporosso Mare, known for its wideness and the fact that it has been assigned the "Blue Flag of Europe" for several years. You can also visit the Oasi del Nervia, a nature reserve protected by the World Wildlife Fund.

The coast of Vallecrosia is characterized by numerous wide bays with plenty of space to sit and crystal clear water. Beyond Vallecrosia the beaches of Bordighera begin. This area has also been assigned with the Blue Flag because of the clean water.

Who doesn't mind a walk along the mountainous coast can go to Calandre, the sandy beach near Ventimiglia which is surrounded on all sides by cliffs and mountain walls which gives it a tropical impression. Again, the water is crystal clear making the gently sloping seabed visible at all times. This wide shallow area makes the beach a suitable place for children.

Those who want to combine a swim with culture can go to Balzi Rossi. The prehistoric museum is located right on the sea. A few kilometers away lies Menton with its long promenade full of restaurants along the beach. It is a good place, both day and night, whether or not combined with a visit to the old town or the casino.

The dog can come to the special dog beach at the mouth of the river Roya in Ventimiglia. Also in Bordighera and Ospedaletti part of the beach is reserved for dogs.

Shopping along the water.
Lovers of markets should not forget to visit the market in Bordighera or Ventimiglia. On Thursday morning along the promenade in Bordighera and on Friday throughout the day along the promenade and around the park in Ventimiglia. Both markets have a wide range of local products.
