You can have breakfast in the kitchen at the time you prefer, you will find the table ready with your name on it, you have a kettle for tea and a pod machine for coffee, the rest in the fridge. In the morning we tidy up.
If you prepare quick meals, please leave them in order for those who come later.
Nearby there is an ice cream oasis bar that offers typical sweets (Sacher, strudel, cream pasta) and Illy coffee, open from 7. 30 to 20. 00, in Via dell'Eremo 259.
At 800 meters there is the Despar supermarket in via Koch, open from 8. 00 to 19. 30, except Sunday which closes at 13. 00. Or Market Coop at Cattinara open from 8.00 until 20.00 every day.

Guesthouse New Al Ferdinandeo is a charming bed and breakfast situated in a quiet hill top part of Trieste, surrounded by beautiful trees which overlooks the city and bay. The room was very comfortable with a hot shower and plenty of space for two people. Marzia is a wonderful host and very helpful during our stay. There is a lovely breakfast with freshly baked delicious brioche from a local bakery and hot coffee. The b and b is easily accessible by bus from the city centre, and offers a lovely environmental alternative when visiting Trieste which is a beautiful part of Italy.

I would be happy to provide you with a review of your accommodation in Trieste. Here it is: \n\nWe had a wonderful stay at our apartment in Trieste. The location was perfect, as it was situated in a quiet and peaceful area on the outskirts of the city. Despite being away (5 km ~ 15 min by bus) from the city center, it was easily accessible by public transportation, making it convenient to explore the downtown area. \n\nOur host was extremely kind and attentive, always ready to assist us with any inquiries we had about the city and its surroundings. Their helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable, as they provided us with valuable recommendations for exploring the area. \n\nOne of the highlights of the location was the proximity to fantastic dining options. We discovered a fantastic restaurant nearby that served delicious local cuisine. Additionally, there was a charming beer garden, an ice cream parlor, and a cozy café, all within walking distance from the apartment. This variety of options allowed us to experience the local culinary scene without venturing too far. \n\nOverall, we had a fantastic experience at our accommodation in Trieste. The peacefulness of the location, combined with the ease of access to the city center, made it an ideal choice for us. The kindness and attentiveness of our host, along with the excellent dining options nearby, made our stay truly memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

The place was lovely, it had everything we needed. Very clean and nice place. Only thing is that it is a bit remote, but the bus is well organized and leaves every 15 minutes. There is a kitchen available and a small breakfast.

The room and bathroom are very nice and spacious. You have everything you could need. The breakfast is very good. Very quiet neighborhood, you can easily take the bus to the center. Perfect if you come by car and need to park on the street but the best of all is the attention of the family. Thank you for everything.

We had a great time. Comfortable accommodation just a few steps from the bus stop to the city center, which runs every 7 minutes. Clean and very quiet room, excellent breakfast, and the owner very kind and helpful.

We stayed for a weekend, the room was very clean and new, the bus was convenient to reach the center, considering the difficulty of parking in the city. Marzia was very kind and welcoming, also giving us great tips for our stay. Absolutely recommended.

We felt very good, the room is sufficiently large as is the bathroom, everything is very clean and seems brand new. At night there is peace and quiet so you can rest very well also thanks to the bed with comfortable mattress and pillows. Breakfast is ready from 8:30 with everything you prefer as the kitchen is also available and the lady who runs the B & B is present and very attentive to details. We really felt very good.

We really appreciated both the accommodation and its location, charming and quiet, off the mass tourism maps. It allows easy access to the city center, but also to experience less frequented areas. Marzia is a sociable and caring host who gives useful advice. Highly recommended.

Excellent facility, in a hilly location not in the center but very convenient to reach it. The panorama is very beautiful. The managers are very welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. New and very clean facility. If we happen to be in the area again, we will return to them.

B&B located in a very quiet area, outside the center, but easily reachable by bus in about ten minutes. Convenient if you arrive by car with free parking five minutes away on foot. Cozy rooms, excellent cleanliness and especially Marzia and her mother are two excellent hosts, always ready to have a chat and give advice about the city and what to do. The breakfast is also very much appreciated, although simple, it has all the desirable comforts (coffee machine, kettle, milk and juices, toast, butter, jam, etc.). A place to return to when you want to relax and spend a few days in tranquility!

I couldn't have found a better place, the owner is very kind and helpful, everything truly perfect. The property is located on a hill and in a few minutes you are in the center, the room is very beautiful and above all clean and fragrant. For breakfast everything you need. I recommend it.

Staying at the Guesthouse New al Ferdinandeo B&B was very pleasant. The apartment is cozy, comfortable, and very clean. Sleeping well and the air conditioning does its job. The kitchen is available for breakfast. To reach the city center there is a bus just 2 steps away, but we moved around with our car always finding parking just 2 steps from the center (by the way, it's free on Sundays). The welcome from Marzia and Silvia makes you feel at home immediately, and chatting with them until late at night was pleasant. In short: a B&B absolutely recommended.

My husband and I had a great time, the house is very cozy and perfectly clean, the area is quiet and peaceful while being convenient to the center of Trieste. The hosts are truly special and it felt like meeting old friends with whom you can talk about everything. We took advantage of their barbecue offer which was undoubtedly the best we ever had, excellent meat cooked masterfully. A truly pleasant stay. Patrizia and Massimo.

I recommend everyone to stay here for a night. Trieste is beautiful and the owners are fabulous, kind, and friendly people. They know their city very well and will be able to show you where to go. Great location outside the center, quiet and cool.

Marzia and Silvia are two exceptional people you could spend hours talking to. The B&B is located on a hill with a view of the Gulf of Trieste. You can reach the city center on foot and go back up with the convenient buses. Comfortable room, cooler than the outside temperature. The breakfast is rich and varied. Highly recommended place.

Quiet place away from the city center; hospitality, kindness, and friendliness, along with a wealth of information provided by Marzia and Silvia, have "convinced" me to think about a return to Trieste.\n\nFrom the small, tidy and clean room (with air conditioning), you can enjoy a glimpse of the sea; it's all very quiet, there is no TV (intentionally), and it's really a place to "unplug" and enjoy the city.\n\nThe area is well served: a few minutes' walk away there are buses that allow you to reach the city center.\n\nThe breakfast, always enjoyed in the company of Marzia and Silvia, was excellent and plentiful, and it became an opportunity to chat for 30-40 minutes about various things: the city, the surroundings, the food, Austrian-Hungarian Trieste, the villages of the Karst.\n\nIn short, a place I absolutely recommend.

The B&B is located outside the city center, however, if you have a car, it only takes a moment to get there. Alternatively, you can use bus number 11, but you need to adapt to the scheduled runs. The property is excellent, recently renovated, well-furnished and functional. The cleanliness is excellent, the breakfast is abundant and delicious (freshly made Triestine crepes). Marzia and Silvia are very nice and can recommend both where to eat and what to see. They provide you with a nice map of the city and recommend what is worth visiting. I highly recommend it.
